Wrinkles.

It was Saturday, a very bright morning. Daehyun and Youngjae were lying beside each other on a flannel blanket in the shade of a tree.

“I like your eyebrows, eyes, nose and lips” Daehyun said to Youngjae with a smile.

    “I know, I’m pretty handsome”

    “Now it’s your turn to say what you like about my face”

    “I like your wrinkles”

    “I don’t have wrinkles”

    “You do, many, when you laugh. There’s wrinkles all over your face!” the younger giggled foolishly. 

    “From now I’ll use anti-aging cream”

    “No! Didn’t you hear what I just said? I like your wrinkles”

    “Calling me old isn’t a compliment”

    “I didn’t call you old”

    “Then why did you even mention my wrinkles?”

    “Because you only have wrinkles whenever you laugh and you laugh because I make you. I gave you your wrinkles, they’re proof of how happy I make you”

    “Suddenly I like my wrinkles too” Daehyun said and both burst into laughter.
