Someone once told me not to date a close friend or co-worker because the break up would be more painful than with someone who just walked away from your life after you parted ways. 

I laughed back then because it sounded so dramatic, what would be the difference between dating a stranger and dating someone who was close to you, a break up is a break up. A couple broke up because there was no more love left, right?
