before proceeding to our rules: square one is a collective style roleplay that allows both au and non-au muses, as well as accepting two of each faceclaim - one au and one non-au. encountering twins and mixing oc and gen muses will occur. we realize this setting is not for everyone, and perhaps it’s a new experience for some, therefore we will do our best in answering whatever questions or concerns you may have. our inbox is always open!

before applying.

one. due to potential mature content, muns and muses must be at least 19 years of age internationally to join. if applying as au: if wishing to change the age of your muse (+/- 5 years) you cannot use an underage faceclaim and age them up or use an of age faceclaim and age them down to be underage.

two. as our application is through google docs, we ask that you provide us with a form of sns for us to contact you if needed (aff, tumblr, twitter). the account provided must have some activity and be at least 6 months old. 

three. all reservations last for 72 hours and should include the name of your desired faceclaim as well as the name of their group/occupation along with a password and if you’re applying for the au or non-au spot. make sure to check the masterlist before reserving/applying to ensure your desired faceclaim is available.

• ex. I would like to reserve Kim Taehyung (V) of BTS as au/non-au, pw: milkyway

four. we only accept people active in the korean entertainment industry. deceased, married, those involved in heavy scandals, youtubers/models and those who have stated they wish to not be roleplayed will not be accepted. if you’re unsure if a person is allowed, send us a message. 

five. a second muse is allowed after 3 weeks of first joining the roleplay. if you are caught sneaking in another muse you will immediately be kicked out.

after being accepted.

one. when creating your account, set your character’s full name or stage name in english. no emojis, nicknames or funny text allowed in the name. if applying as au: you must create a new, respectful, name for your muse. if you need any help, shoot us a message.

two. add ‘square one’ somewhere on your profile along with the name of your faceclaim if applying as au.

three. do not add anyone else in the roleplay until an admin has added you to the groups and introduced you. while we brand ourselves as a collective we are still a closed roleplay group, so do not add anyone outside of the roleplay. if you’re unsure, check the admins friendlist or send us a message.

four. you have two days (48 hours) upon joining to make your first feed update, failure to complete within the timeframe given will result in removal.

after joining.

one. general roleplaying etiquette applies:

• no metagaming
• no godmodding
• no bubble roleplaying
• no mpreg or other unrealistic situations

two. try to welcome at least 2-3 people a week, whether it be through dms or a comment on their posts. we’re not forcing anyone, but being friendly goes a long way!

three. we allow all ualities and there is no dating ban. marriage and pregnancy is allowed as long as all parties involved have agreed. move-in couples are allowed, just make sure all parties state so in their app.

four. all pictures and videos of content must stay in the rated group, for everybody’s comfort. 

five. all ooc posts should be kept to a minimum (apart from plotting calls) and in the ooc group. the p*s*w*rd is your favorite color.

six. changing your profile picture does not count as activity, you must make at least one status update per week. while updating your feed is our only activity requirement, we remind you to treat people the way you wish to be treated. if you’re not putting in the effort of getting to know people, you cannot complain about not having friends.

seven. we understand that not everyone is comfortable with twins, therefore you are exempt from adding/accepting muses with the same faceclaim as yours. to make it easier for newer members, please add a note somewhere on your profile whether you’re ok with twins or not.  

eight. a full hiatus is allowed for up to one month and you do not have to make any updates during this period, a semi-hiatus is allowed for up to one month and you must make a status update every 7 days. if going on a hiatus and/or need an extension:

• send a message to the mod account with your details. 
• add ‘hiatus/semi-hiatus from [leave date] to [return date]’ somewhere on your profile.

nine. if you’ve been removed from the roleplay due to inactivity, you must wait 3 days before you can reapply. if you leave without informing the admins, you will be blacklisted.
