A heavy sigh came out from Kim Dahyun's mouth after putting the two big buckets of water on the ground to take a little break.

She looked at the rocky road of a hill up to the village. She groaned, "Why is this road not fixed yet? Goodness, this will be the cause of my death" she grumbled imagining if she slips back down here if she loses her balance with the buckets.

Taking few deep breathes, she stretched her arms and heard some cracks before lifting the buckets.

But as soon as she lifted it, her attention went to a woman who was wearing an expensive dress, running towards her direction. And she sure looks like struggling because of her heels, running with uncontrollable speed through Dahyun's direction.

And before Dahyun could even react. The woman starts screaming when she couldn't stop her steps. "Move!" She screamed, but the woman seems deaf.

Dahyun's eyes widened when she realized that the woman is getting closer and closer towards her. Both their eyes were wide, and Dahyun was struggling to step aside because of the weight of the buckets that she's carrying, and she was panicking "What the--"

And in just a blink of an eye, two bodies collided, stumbled, and one was pressed against the ground.

One of the two buckets was kicked, making it lose its balance and the water starts to spill and flow down.

Unluckily, Dahyun was the one pressed between the ground and this strange woman that was currently laying on top of her. She groaned in pain, but then their eyes met, both of them were realizing what just happened.

Out of panic, Dahyun pushed the foreign looking woman out of her and automatically stood up. The latter landed on the side with her first, she groaned but then realized that she sat on the ground where the water was spilled. "Oh God, my dress!" she whines, checking her behind where the big stain was. A mud on her .

While Dahyun took the bucket with frustration, "It didn't just spill like that.." she tried not to panic, but as soon as she checked the bucket, it was already empty. She looked on the ground that was now the water like Dahyun didn't just walked miles away to get it. "This mothering ground didn't just all the water--"

"Look what you did to my dress" She was interrupted by the woman standing behind her. She almost forgot her. "I can't go away like this, oh my…" she was as frustrated as Dahyun, frowning as she tries to pat the stained part as if it would actually work, it worsened.

Dahyun scoffs as she faced the woman, "Have you ever realized that you just kicked my bucket? Now the bucket's empty and I have to go back miles away to get one" Dahyun glared at her.

"Excuse me?" The woman gasps, "You're the one who didn't move aside when you saw me running down with uncontrollable speed" she countered.

"I was carrying these heavy buckets! Were you expecting me to easily move aside? Why are you even running like crazy--"

"It's none of your business!"

"See? Your reason is invalid--"

"You should at least feel sorry that you pushed me that hard and now my dress is dirty!"

"Why would I say sorry? You ran into me" Dahyun was in disbelief as they shared a glaring look. She can't believe how this woman doesn't even care how she just kicket the bucket, wasted the water, and now she have to go back. Not to mention the amount of time and strength she wasted.

How arrogant, they both thought.

The woman was about to speak once again but they heard footsteps from behind.

"I am so doomed.." Dahyun heard the woman mumbling. She looks like she was hesitating whether to run away or just stay where she was standing.

And it was actually too late to decide when two men in suits and a woman in dress appeared, running down in panic. But the woman showed relief once she spotted the woman behind Dahyun. "Goodness, Young Lady. We thought we lost you" she immediately approached the woman and gasps when she saw the big stain on her part. "Oh dear, what happened?"

Young Lady? Dahyun thought as she looked at them in confusion.

She was startled when the two men in suits blocks her vision from the two women. "Who are you?" The first guy who looks twice bigger than Dahyun spoke.

"What did you do to the Young Lady?" The tall one added, looking so intimidating as if one wrong answer and Dahyun would receive a punch on the face.

"I.." Dahyun was loss of words.

Will this day be more ed up than it already was? She feels like today was her worst day.

"It was an accident." The woman who just jumped on Dahyun spoke, interrupting them. She approached them and gave the two men a smile, "Don't worry. She only helped me when I slipped and fell, right?" And glances at Dahyun.

Dahyun wants to scoff at her, but thinking that if she shows any disrespect from this Lady who looks like from a wealthy family, she would probably be in deep trouble. So she forced a small smile, "That's right. I saw her tripping that she accidentally kicked my bucket" she tried not to show how it drives her mad, remembering that she have to go back there. The Young Lady faked a cough and looked away.

"Is that so? Thank you for helping the Young Lady" The woman smiled brightly and bowed to Dahyun, and so Dahyun did the same.

"It's nothing" Dahyun mumbled, glancing at the woman who instantly averted her gaze.

Why was she lying? Dahyun was curious.

"I deeply apologize, Young Lady" The tall guy spoke, "We were so irresponsible and didn't guard you tightly that you almost got lost in this place." He bows at her.

"We will secure you with all our best, and we will accept whatever punishment you will--"

"N-No, it's fine. Don't worry" The woman waves her hands to dismiss her guards, "And I promise this will will not reach to him. This is my fault afterall. I was too excited to stroll.." Dahyun could see how stiff the woman was. Dahyun was sure that their was a deeper reason why she was lost, but she didn't mind butting in.

"We don't have the time to stay here, Young Lady. We should head back and change your clothes before the Young Master sees you in this situation." The woman spoke.

"Yes, maybe…maybe we should" The foreign woman spoke before she was guided by the men to walk properly.

Dahyun could only watch them walk away, the empty bucket still on her hand.

And before she could even look away.

She saw how the Young Lady looked back and sent her an apologetic look.

That's when Dahyun realized who that Lady was.

It was the Japanese Young Lady who travelled all the way to Korea to tie the knot with the heir of this town.

So that was the beautiful Lady that the town has been talking about,

Minatozaki Sana...

----------------

The door opened, and Sana immediately turned to see who just barged in her room without knocking, but to her relief, it was just her cousin, Hirai Momo.

"You slick" Momo spoke as soon she got closer to Sana who was standing near the balcony. "I never thought you'd actually try to escape--"

"Lower your voice" Sana firmly spoke before looking down the balcony to see if someone was there. Luckily, there's no one.

"Are you insane? Do you really think you could just easily escape? Mind you, we are in an island that your fiance will run soon" Momo spoke with a hush tone.

Sana sighed and looks at the view outside, "He's not my fiance.."

"Well, to everyone in this island, even your own family says he is" Momo spoke in a matter of fact.

Sana sighed. "Maybe escaping like that was stupid"

"It was" Momo agreed, "Look, if you really want to escape, you should at least take time to plan than running away like crazy as if you can just swim the island across here" Sana hates to admit how Momo's right.

"I don't have much time left.." Sana's voice was weak, looking down. She felt the pang on her chest, "I'm getting married in a month or so.."

Momo sighs, "Maybe we could still find a way.." she tries to encourage her, "Find someone who coulcld--" but then they heard a knock outside the door.

"Sana, are you there?" The voice of a man spoke. Momo rolled her eyes knowing who it was while Sana sighed before approaching to open the door.

"Suho.." She flashed a timid smile to her fiance.

He looked at her from head to toe before smiling at her, "I've heard from Lady Jihyo that you got into an accident? I was worried" he then held her hands to check if she has some scratch or wounds.

"It's.. I'm fine. It was just a small accident.." Sana wants to pull her hands away from him. She wants to roll her eyes at how dramatic he is. "I am not harmed, Suho" she reminds him before slowly letting go.

"Do you want to go to the hospital to check--"

"I'm fine" Sana was holding herself from rolling her eyes, she could even hear Momo letting out a mocking snort, both cringing amd half-laughing at the awkward atmosphere. Sana is a friendly person, but one's patience can only stretch so far, sometimes. "Don't worry about it"

"I am glad to hear that. I don't want this to reach to our parents, and I am worried this would affect our wedding preparation which I am hoping to be a successful one" He flashed a smile he usually shows. The polite and all business smile. Then he cupped her cheek, "It would be embarrassing if our wedding fails, won't it?" And it was like a warning for her to be careful next time. Behind that gentle and kind aura Suho shows in front of everyone, Sana knows how it's all fake, pretentious.

He only cares about the wealth he will get as soon as they got married. All his father's belongings and everything in this Island. They both know that they don't love each other, or at least Sana knows they're not. And she was glad about it. Another reason for her to escape this island and their wedding.

"Yes.." Sana answered before Suho let go.

"As I expected, My dear fiance" He smiled before glancing at Momo who was behind her, "And Good evening to you, Lady Hirai" Momo just bowed at him. "I am heading out now as I have a meeting with the mayor. I'll see you later, My fiance" He kissed the back of Sana's hand, as if showing it to Momo how gentleman he is like how the people in this town thinks. Little did he know, Momo knos everything.

As soon as Suho left. Sana immediately closed the door and sighed heavily.

"Eww" Momo snorts, mimicking how Suho kissed the back of Sana's hand.

"Oh my God, that just drives me more to leave this place" Sana grumbles, and sat on the couch. "We really need a plan. An immediate plan for my escape"

"As we should. I could see the disgust in your face. What was more funny was the fact that you never liked men. It was always women" Momo chuckles.

"Speaking of women.." Sana sat properly, deep in thought. "I need to speak to that woman I encountered. I am sure she's not that stupid to not know what I was doing.."

"Maybe you should." Momo agrees, "We need to be more careful or we'll get caught"

"Tomorrow, I'm going to go back where I saw her. I need to at least negotiate with her.."

"Do you really need to do that? Negotiation? That sounds illegal" Momo chuckles.

"It's better to be safe"

-------------------

Minatozaki Sana walks around the village with a polite smile on her face. Greeting back the villagers she passes by.

And she was glad that her only company was Lady Jihyo, who was walking beside her with such attentiveness, "I think it is a bad idea to leave the mansion without your guards, Young Lady" Jihyo spoke, watching every steps they take.

Sana chuckled at how concerned Jihyo was, afterall, she insisted that they should be friends. "Don't worry, I don't think someone would harm us.." I might even runaway myself.

"I do hope so. We almost lost you yesterday" Jihyo stated, "You must love this place for you to come back here."

"Actually, I was looking for someone" Sana admitted, still looking around.

It took Jihyo's attention now looking at her in question, "Someone? Do you have a friend here? I thought you know no one except your cousin?" She carefully asks.

Sana nodded with a small smile on her face, "Remember that woman who helped me yesterday?" Jihyo nodded, "I want to talk to her"

"Why is that?" Jihyo grew more curious.

"I want to thank her since she helped me, and I felt bad that I accidentally kicked her bucket, wasting that poor water" She smoothly lied. "I'm sure she was mad that I just ran away like that" she couldn't help but chuckle as she imagine what that woman was thinking when she left. She was obviously frowning and probably cursing in her mind.

"Is that so? Do you know her name? There's a lot of people here" Jihyo stated.

Sana stops walking for a moment. Suddenly realizing that the only thing she know about her was her face, her pale skin, old clothes, and that cute sharp eyes…

Sana tried not to smile thinking about that, "I'm sure she's just around--" and as soon as she turned to her left. She was surprised to see the woman from yesterday. Holding a basket while talking to a shorter girl. "Speaking of.." A smile formed on her lips, she starts to walk towards their direction. Jihyo has no other choice but to follow her.

"Here's the fruits you've been asking for. Few of it are not that fresh since I bought that half their price" Dahyun stated as she handed the basket to her friend, Chaeyoung.

"No worries, as long as it's edible, my dear--oh.." Chaeyoung stopped and showed surprise when she looked behind Dahyun, and to the latter's curiosity, she turned to look behind.

Oh…

That bucket kicker…

Chaeyoung immediately bowed at them while Dahyun remained standing, looking at the Young Lady who was smiling at her as if nothing happened yesterday.

"It's nice to see you again" Sana spoke as she bowed to the pale woman, but she didn't bowed back, just looking at her in confusion. She saw how the shorter girl at the back secretly pats the pale girl's back.

"Hello, what could possibly be the reason for your sudden approach, Young Ladies?" Chaeyoung was the one who spoke since Dahyun was acting like a statue, "My apologies. My dear friend was tired and sleepless, don't mind her" She grins and placed her arm over Dahyun's shoulder to bring her back to her senses.

"I'm sorry if I interrupted your conversation, but can I steal your dear friend for a moment?" Sana glances at the one who has a dimple on her face.

"Why yes" Chaeyoung immediately agreed, "She has nothing to do anyways--"

"I'm helping you--" Dahyun was about to protest but Chaeyoung glared at her, as if reminding her who the Lady is that they're speaking to.

"I can do it myself, buddy" Chaeyoung pats her shoulder before gently pushing her.

"Jihyo can help you" Sana spoke, and Lady Park was taken aback at that.

"But Young Lady, I can't leave you alone--"

"No worries. I am just going to talk to her for a little moment" She reassures with a smile on her face, "We'll just be there not far away" Sana added before looking back at the pale woman who just sighed in defeat. "Walk with me"

And so they went to a private stroll.

-----------------------------

"The only thing I could think of why such a person like you would come to see a commoner like me is to either keep me silent or order me to leave this island" Dahyun suddenly spoke as they took a private stroll away from the others.

Sana was amused on how straightforward the woman was. She looks like she doesn't care whatever status you are. So Sana let out a small chuckle, "You're not wrong yet not right" Sana stated.

They continued to walk without looking at each other. Dahyun wouldn't lie that she was still a little upset about that bucket of water. "I have no plan wasting your time, Young Lady. You can just tell me why your purpose" Dahyun stopped walking, and that made Sana stop, now facing the brave woman who looks unbothered.

"I just want to apologize for what happened yesterday" Sana stated.

Dahyun was trying not to scoff, she could clearly see how insincere that was. "Is that all?"

Sana sighed in defeat. She knows that she doesn't believe her. "Actually, I am here to talk about yesterday. I don't want you to think that I was planning anything yesterday that's why I was running--"

"I am not thinking such thing, Young Lady" Dahyun interrupted her, "And I don't know why you're explaining. I'm just a commoner who only cares about surviving life" She added, and she sounded so wise that Sana just wants to be swallowed by the ground, regretting why she did this.

"I'm just making sure that there's no rumors would spread" Sana stated. She hopes that the woman would get what she meant.

"Don't worry, I don't do such thing nor care about people's lives." Said the pale woman before looking around. "If that is all, may I excuse myself, Young Lady?" She looks like she was not interested about anything that Sana's talking at all.

Their was a little relief for Sana. It means she doesn't need to worry about this woman at all. But the way how she acted was still surprising to Sana. She thought she would fake a smile and talk to her politely just because she is the Young Lady that the heir's but tp get married. But all she showed was realness. Transparent.

And maybe she was acting rude because of what happened yesterday. Sana did feel bad. She's sure that the woman walked miles away just to get that water knowing that their life is very different from the higher status.

"Can I ask you one thing?" Sana spoke before the pale woman could even walk away. She turned to face Sana. Unfazed. "May I know your name?"

Sana could see how that surprised the latter. Of course, why would she ask for her name? A Young Lady like her? That's indeed surprising.

And despite of wanting to ask why was she asking. She just let out a sigh, "Kim Dahyun" she then left without even looking back. And it was Sana's turn to watch Kim Dahyun walk back to where her friend and Jihyo was.

"Kim Dahyun..." Sana uttered, as if testing the foreign name on her tongue, "Interesting…" she flashed a smile, shaking her head in amusement.

She sure would not forget that woman once she escape this Island.

----------------------

"So what happened?" Momo asks, both of them were in the garden, sitting across each other with a tea on their table. Just the two of them.

"Maybe I was just overthinking" Sana placed her cup of tea above the table, "She doesn't seem to care"

"Did she ask anything in return?" And Sana just shook her head, "Interesting.."

"I know, right? She was upfront and showed nothing but her real self"

"Well look at that, I'm guessing she took you by surprise?" Momo grins at her.

"Very interesting, I must say" Sana couldn't help but let out a laugh, "But we're here to talk about our plan" she added.

"Your plan to escape. You know I can't come with you. That would be suspicious"

Sana nods, rolling her eyes, "I know, after all, you're married to that man you weren't forced to" And there was a hint of envy. How she wished to live life like how she wanted it, with the person she truly loves.

"Don't worry, I am here to help you get out. I even sent a letter to Mina" Momo informed. Sana showed gratefulness to her. Momo slipped a small paper on the table and Sana immediately took it, "That's her address. She's going to help you once you get in the Island across here. She promised to help and make sure you'll be safe and hid well"

Sana smiled brightly, almost tearing up as she stared at the address, "You guys are the best"

Momo chuckles and shook her head to dismiss her, "Anything for the freedom and happiness you deserve" she sincerely stated, "The only thing we need to do is to look for a map, memorize the place, and find a boat"

"I will do that. I am pretty sure I'm going to find someone who can help me get a boat"

"But, Sattang.." Momo firmly looks at her, "Be careful associating with anyone in this Island. Afterall, they're from here, and they would rather be on Suho's side over yours." Deep concern was shown in her eyes.

"Don't worry about me too much" Sana answered with a smile.

"Just don't let your guard down" Momo advised.

"I know" Sana answered. "Actually, I might've already found someone who could help us…"

"Who could that be?"

------------------------

"Young Lady, I'm guessing you've taken a liking here in this village. You've been strolling this place" Jihyo spoke with a small smile on her face. "Quite surprising"

"Really? It just feels like the place is full of colors" Sana stated as she look around, "And despite how simple life is, they manage to put a smile on their faces" she watched how the kids were playing around.

"Ah yes, that's how they--" but they were interrupted by a man who called Jihyo's name. "Daniel…" she mumbled when their eyes met.

Sana watched how Jihyo hesitated to approach him. As she looks at the guy, Saba guesses that he is also from this place. A commoner, but he seems like a kind and gentle looking guy.

Jihyo glances at Sana, "Young Lady.." she wanted to continue, but there's something  stopping. So Sana smiled, guessing that Jihyo must've fear to leave her alone, in fear to fail her duty as Sana's assistant and guide.

"Don't worry, go talk to him. I'll just be there walking around. I promise I won't get lost again" knowing that one time attempt was a fail.

"Are you sure, Young Lady? I'll be right back, I promise" Jihyo bowed at her before she approached the man who was smiling as soon as he held her hands. Sana's guessing that he must be Jihyo's lover.

Not wanting to disturb their little time, she starts walking, looking around the small houses, the stores and the people passing by. She knows that she's being stared at, some were murmuring and gossiping about her presence. Of course, she's getting married to the heir of this Island, that's if she would let herself get tied.

And aside from the good feedback from the people here, there's also some of them that disagrees. There's even rumors about how she only wanted to get married to Suho for his wealth. How she is just using him to take over this Island. Even that one rumor saying that she was sold by her parents, which is actually not a lie.

Sana grew conscious, as if the only murmurs and whispers that she hears are the bad ones. Loud enough for her to hear.

"Why was she strolling here almost everyday? It's unladylike for a Lady who's about to marry the Young Master"

"I heard she's reckless and a troublesome"

And many more of those bad comments she could hear.

The only thing she could do was to look down and keep walking. Taking a deep breathe before putting a fake smile. She didn't even noticed she was gripping on her dress tightly. She suddenly regretted walking alone.

She didn't even noticed that she walked far just to get away from their eyes, until she heard someone talk,

"You know yourself better than anyone yet you take it so personal when someone states their opinion on you." Sana instantly turned her head to see who that was. And to her surprise, it was Kim Dahyun. She was holding an apple that was already half eaten. She was wearing a dirty white polo, sleeves rolled. Hair in a messy bun. "They don't even know you." Dahyun added.

"Huh?" Sana absentmindedly uttered. She heard Dahyun chuckling before facing the front view, and that's when Sana noticed that she was already near the sea.

Oh. Look at that. I just found where the sea by accident...

"You look so disturbed while walking here. You shouldn't mind their opinion." Dahyun stated. And Sana was surprised how this woman is suddenly showing kindness towards her. "Don't look at me like that" she added before looking back at Sana who was looking at her with furrowed eyebrows. "I know I look dirty"

"That's not what I was thinking…" Sana instantly stated, "I was just in disbelief how you're talking decently to me.." she honestly added.

Dahyun chuckled, averting her gaze and shaking her head in amusement. "I was just sorry about how I talked to you before, Young Lady. Maybe I was just a little upset how you just kicked the bucket like that" and it was Sana's turn to chuckle.

"It was an accident"

"I know, that's why I felt bad acting like a jerk. I just thought you were like the other higher status" Dahyun glances at the Young Lady, "Arrogants..."

"Well, I don't consider myself as one of them" She stated in a matter of fact, "And we're no different, I thought you're arrogant"

"I am" Dahyun smirks, "Only to those who deserves it" she then faced Sana with such curiosity on her face, "Why are you here though? Escaping?" She jests.

Sana's eyes widened hearing that. "What?"

"I'm just fooling around" Dahyun chuckles at Sana's reaction.

"W-Well, Lady Park was talking with her lover, I'm guessing. So I gave them privacy"

"This far?" Dahyun stated in amusement as she pointed how Sana just walked that far when she was spacing out.

"And you, why are you here?" Sana countered.

"I was fishing" Dahyun pointed the sea, "And I just sold them"

"I want to go there some other time.." Sana quietly stated.

She then remembered what Momo said to her. She should earn Dahyun's trust so that she would help her find a boat. And now that she knows Dahyun goes there, there might be a chance that she owns a boat. Her escape plan would have a bigger chance.

I just have to befriend her. It's not that hard. Now that we're talking, I should take this opportunity.

"Then I could tour you around" Dahyun stated.

Bingo! Sana couldn't help but flash a big smule as she looks at Dahyun, and the latter looks genuine about it. "That would be great, Dahyun-ssi"

"Some other time then" Dahyun flashes a smile before looking behind, "Here comes your friend" and they both watch how Jihyo walks with hurried steps. "I better go now"

"See you…" Sana stated. Dahyun just nods her head before walking away.

"I'm sorry, Young Lady. I took longer. Were you talking to that woman you met before?" Jihyo followed Sana's line of vision,

Instead of answering her, Sana's eyebrows furrowed, now looking at Jihyo's face. "Why is there a smudge of lipstick on you face?"

"What? Oh my.." Jihyo instantly turns away, checking her face using the small mirror that Sana owns. "But there's none.."

"I was just kidding, Jihyo" Sana chuckles.

Guess she just successfully avoided Jihyo's question.

-------------------------

A week passed and a new bond was built.

No one was expecting that they would actually get along. Especially after that first encounter. Yet, here they are, near the sea. Dahyun was teaching Sana how to fish, and it was really hard. The Young Lady was having a hard time lifting the rod as if it's heavier than her weight.

Dahyun could only laugh when Sana failed to lift the rod, sighing in defeat. "Damn it, I did not even catch a single fish" she whines.

"For someone who was raised in a wealthy family, you do sure curse a lot" Dahyun jests and went back to fishing.

"I am just taking this chance since I never had the urge to curse, but I've been hearing a lot of it from my cousin" Sana explains, "Yah, I think you're just teaching me the wrong way so that I won't catch any" Sana glares at her playfully, accusing her.

"It's not my fault you let those fishes eat the bait for free" Dahyun stated. "And I told you, it's already late and it's not really the time to fish here" she pointed the wooden bucket, and there was only three fishes.

"But I want to catch and eat one" Sana was pouting, sulking as she stared at the sea.

She almost forgot that she's here to look for a perfect place, where the boat should be placed and where she could take one.

"It's already late, you haven't yet eat dinner" Dahyun placed her rod on her side, looking up the sun that's setting down, "And why is no one here with you though?" She took a glance at Sana who was already looking at her, "It's already late, they're probably worried about you being out alone, especially your fiance"

Sana chuckles, "I told them I'll be home as soon as the sun's down. You look more worried." she teases and gave up fishing. "And for Suho, he's out for a business trip, he said." She's stretching her arms.

"Leaving you alone in this place?" Dahyun raises her eyebrows in question.

"It's better like this" Sana looked away and focused at the sun.

Dahyun could only stare at the Young Lady's side profile. Both of them were in deep thought. And Dahyun has a lot of questions she wanted to ask, but she stops herself from asking one. Afterall, she's just Sana's company. Sometimes, she would wonder why on earth was she doing this? Spending her free time that was supposed to be her rest time after all those side jobs she have.

And she wonders, why of all people, she chose to hang out with someone like Minatozaki Sana…

And why of all people, Sana chose to spend time with her...

I wonder what you're up to. I'm sure you're here with purpose. I wonder what you're thinking. I'm sure you're here for a favor.

And despite knowing that Sana's here with intentions, Dahyun still lets herself be associated with her.

"You know" Sana suddenly let out a laugh, "You kept on saying that you don't like me when in fact you do" she looks back at Dahyun with a cheeky smile.

"What?" Dahyun frowned.

"You are acting like you're always annoyed by my presence, yet you're here"

"Don't be too smug" Dahyun averted her gaze, she chuckled, "You're the future of this Island, or rather, the heir's future. I'm just doing what I think a villager like me who lives in this Island would do to a higher status like you"

"So you're just accompanying me because I am his fiancee?" Sana scoffs playfully.

"Yes"

"What a jerk" Sana stated with a disbelief on her face. Dahyun just laughed at that.

"And you're here because you just want free dinner" Dahyun countered.

"Well, yes I guess?" Sana grins, "I'm actually getting hungry"

"Look at that, a wealthy woman who could actually buy a house full of food is asking for a free one. Are you perhaps mocking my life--"

"You keep saying that, it's annoying" Sana playfully rolls her eyes. "I just want to try the food you eat. I want seafood"

"Then let's go right now. Dinner, my treat" Dahyun stood up, took her rod and the bucket.

"You're going to pay?" Sana asks, curious.

"Trade" Dahyun grins as she raised the bucket, "A good friend of mine would love to have these fishes"

"Trading? I didn't know it's still a thing"

"A life of a wealthy--"

"Shut up"

Sana scanned the small place that Dahyun called the "Restaurant" her friend owns. It looks very simple and old, yet it gives a very comfortable atmosphere. Like home.

"Come on in" Dahyun pulled her gently by the wrist.

A man in his late twenties had a big smile on his face when he heard Dahyun's voice. "Midget, you finally visited...oh" The man with a brown headband stood froze as soon as he noticed that Dahyun's not alone. And what surprises him was the fact that it's not just someone from this Island.

It's the Young Master Kim Suho's fiance.

Why on earth is this midget with the Young Lady?

"Hello, oldie" Dahyun grins nervously. She could see how Taehyung's expression changed into a little frown. That one he uses when he's confused. "We're here to eat"

But Taehyung immediately regained his composure and flashed a smile, masking the confusion, "I see you brought a big fish" he bowed at Sana, showing respect.

Sana bowed back despite the confusion on her face. Was he referring to me? A big fish..?

Dahyun noticed the big question on Sana's face, "He meant I am with an important person" she chuckles at her.

They sat on a table near the counter, watching how Taehyung prepares the food for them. Sana gulped looking at the food that looks delicious. She could feel the imaginary drool on .

"When this young woman said she's been hanging out with a friend, I didn't expect that it was you, Young Lady" Taehyung spoke, eyeing Dahyun.

"Oh, yes she's been accompanying me here in this Island" Sana softly spoke.

"Touring?" Taehyung guesses, and Sana nodded. Dahyun noticed how Taehyung gave her a knowing look, she just rolled her eyes. "I didn't know you are also working as a tour guide, Dahyun" he teases.

She was about to answer, but Sana beat her to it. It just worsened. "Oh, no, she's actually doing it for free" she innocently stated. Not noticing how Dahyun and Taehyung shared look.

. He would probably squeeze my head in a blender after this, Dahyun thought as she tried not to runaway from this place.

"Free, huh? That's so nice of you, Dahyun" Taehyung chuckles at her.

it.

-----------------------------------

They spend their day in a park Sana wished to be.

They're just sitting on a wooden bench, admiring the place, watching the people around. And Sana's gone quiet for awhile, so Dahyun looks at her, wondering what's on her mind. "What are thinking about?"

"I'm looking at that family over there. They seem happy" she nodded at the family who was having a picnic.

Dahyun nods, "Yeah, they do." She was hesitating to ask, but to keep Sana talking, she decided that maybe she should, "Do you miss your...family?" She carefully asked.

The Japanese woman flashed a small smile, still admiring the family, "More like, I miss what we do when I was a child.."

"How about your parents?"

"After they decided the planned marriage, and for me to move here..." She sighs, "I don't know"

Dahyun could only stare at Sana. She noticed how her mood suddenly changed. And she guesses that she and her parents are probably not in good terms. She shouldn't have asked. So she stood up and lend her hand in front of Sana, "Come on, I don't want here anymore" Sana looked up, eyes in question. "Let's continue the tour, My tourist" she cheekily stated.

Sana failed not to crack a smile, chuckling before she placed her hand on Dahyun's. "That's actually a good idea.."

And with that gentle pull and secure hold,

Dahyun showed Sana the different colors of life.

You don't have to stay in grey when you can cross the bridge of colors until you find your own color of life.

----------------------------

They had spent another week with Dahyun touring her in the Island, trying the street  food that Sana's unfamiliar, going to local markets, and many more that Sana's unfamiliar about.

They enjoy the serene atmosphere for a while, just breathing in the fresh air, listening to the sound of rustling leaves battling against the harsh wind.

Now laying on the grass near Dahyun's house. It was a small one, enough for a person to live. And it was Sana's first time to be here since Dahyun would refuse to invite here, saying Sana doesn't suit to be there, yet the Young Lady's too stubborn to accept refusal.

So here they are, talking about their dream life. "So you actually have a dream job?" Sana spoke, she was holding a red rose that was picked by Dahyun. She raised her hand and covered the sun using the flower. The redness of the flower became brighter, she could even see some images in the petals.

Chapter 1: I have developed a habit of reading the end part first before I continue reading cuz, ngl, after reading so much saida aus on Twitter, I've lost my trust in some of the saida authors there. I don't like reading angst. Or if it's angst, I'll still read it as long as there's happy ending. Not sure about the hanging endings tho I often give it a chance. I'm just saving myself from the heartbreak it's about to bring. Anyways, I love this. Tho I can't help but roll my eyes whenever I read a male species' name in saida aus lol.. Oh hey, I hope your doing fine. Stay awesome. Stay safe. Stream kura kura.
