Foreword
“why do they hate each other anyway?” winter asked, her eyes fixated on the beauty right next to her.
karina sighed.
“both of them wanted to be the patron god of athens. your father was as competitive as my mother, he even created a salt water spring.”
winter tilted her head.
“and?”
“the people still chose athena,” karina replied with a small smile.
“that's all?”
karina shook her head.
“there are a lot of reasons why our parents became rivals.”
“what's that have to do with us?” winter grunted, her hands slowly reaching for karina's tiny ones. she intertwined their fingers together and it made the raven-haired girl blush.
“the gods' businesses and issues will always be a part of us.”
winter tightened her grip on karina's hand.
“but those reasons won't stop me from choosing you all over again..”
the brunette paused.
“.. even if it meant having to fall into the depths of tartarus.”
