"Iced Americano for Chaeyeon!"

Chaeyeon went to the counter to get her drink but she was surprised that another customer reached for it. A bit confused, she stared at the woman who took her drink. She was just ignored as the woman was on her phone. Chaeyeon smirked as she watched the woman casually left the cafe'. As she was about to ask for her order, a new order was called.

"Mint Choco Frappe for Chaewon!"

No one came to claim the order. Chaeyeon inquired about her order but the staff said, it was already out. She was about to argue when she saw the cup in front of her.

"Chaewon"

Chaeyeon chuckled.

"I think my order got switched."

The staff apologized and told her they'll prepare a new one. Chaeyeon declined as she just took the mint choco frappe. She insisted that it's okay as the staff kept saying sorry for their mistake. In Chaeyeon's head, this is what's on repeat: "It's her fault".

Chaeyeon left the cafe' with the frappe she didn't order. She went to meet her best friend, Sakura who works as a DJ at a radio station. She stayed outside the booth as she waited for her best friend to clock out.  As soon as the last song was played, Chaeyeon signalled to Sakura to come out.

"Hey! You came early. What's up?"

"Let's go, Yena is waiting."

"The party starts at 7, right?"

Sakura reached for Chaeyeon's drink then took a sip, something she usually does. But as soon as she tasted the drink, she spit it out.

"Yah! Since when did you start drinking this toothpaste?"

"Just today."

"For real?"

"Someone took my iced Americano."

Chaeyeon showed the name written on the cup.

"How can that happen?"

"It actually happened right in front of me."

"Huh?"

"I was about to grab my order, suddenly, this woman who came out of nowhere, took it then walked away."

"Why didn't you say something?"

"I was surprised. Plus, I have no idea that our orders got switched."

"It's your fault then"

"Yah!"

"You should've spoken up."

"She was on the phone the whole time."

"Why did you accept this?"

"The staff felt bad but I knew it wasn't their fault so…"

"Chaewon. Chaeyeon. That woman probably misheard it."

"She should've paid more attention so that she won't cause any mishap."

"Well, it happens. But if you weren't so nice, you could've actually prevented it. Try not to be nice sometimes, Chaeyeon."

Chaeyeon just smirked.

"So, it really tastes like toothpaste, huh?"

"Yeah. You can never change my mind."

"I wasn't planning to."

"Wait! You haven't drank…"

Chaeyeon shook her head. Sakura gave her a slap on the shoulder.

"Why did you let me sip?"

"You always do it, so I just let you."

"I wish you can be nice to me as much as you are nice to other people."

Sakura got laugh as a response.

The two went to Yena's party. On the way, they received a text from the celebrant.

"No gift, no entry."

The two laughed as soon as they read the message.

"I can't believe Yena is throwing this kind of party", Sakura said.

"She's a grown up woman but she's forever a kid to us", Chaeyeon replied.

"What did you get her?"

"A hoverboard"

"You're spoiling our friend."

"She said she wants one. How about you?"

Sakura pointed at the skateboard on the backseat.

"Look who's talking about spoiling."

"She sent me a message with the picture of that specific skateboard."

The best friends shared a good laugh.

When they arrived at the venue, Chaeyeon and Sakura were surprised how it was beautifully decorated. From the outside, they can hear a band playing too. They quickly went inside to greet Yena.

"Happy birthday!"

"Thank you! You got me a gift, right?"

"It's in the car, don't worry."

"Yes!"

"This is quite a party, huh?"

"Well, you know, it's a special day."

"I knew it! I've been thinking why you suddenly threw a party like this."

"It just doesn't suit a kid like you."

"Yah! I'm not a kid anymore."

"Okay, okay. So, where's the food?"

"There. Help yourselves, I'll catch up with you two later."

They proceeded at the buffet table but Sakura went to the washroom first. Chaeyeon decided to have a drink. She was about to grab a cup when someone sneaked in to get one too.

"Sorry. I'm in a rush, our set is up next."

A familiar face showed up. She can't believe what's in front of her. Trying to be as nice possible, Chaeyeon speaks up.

"Is this your habit? Stealing someone else's drink, sneaking in out of the blue…"

"Are you talking to me?"

"Yes, you."

"I'm sorry. I don't understand what you're saying."

Chaeyeon just sighed.

"Go ahead, get your drink. You said you're in a hurry."

Still in disbelief, Chaeyeon finished her beer in one go. The woman who stole her coffee is here and appeared in front of her again. A call from Sakura, interrupted her moment of thinking.

"Where are you?"

"Beer"

Chaeyeon handed a cup of beer to Sakura.

"Guess who I saw just now."

"Your ex?"

"Yah! I don't have one."

"Kidding. Who?"

"Mint choco…"

"Huh?"

Chaeyeon nodded.

"I can't believe it."

"Congratulations!"

"What for?"

"For leaving the 'singles club'"

"What are you saying?"

"It's destiny, Chaeyeon. Don't you get it? You met her twice. Not only that, twice on the same day. Woah! Talk about meant to be."

Chaeyeon walked out.

"Yah! Where are you going?"

"I'll find someone who will talk with more sense."

"I'm not joking. I've seen it all. In dramas, movies…"

"Whatever."

They continued to walk until they reached the place where the band is playing.

"So, is she pretty? Did you get her name? She's here, maybe Yena knows her. Let's ask later."

"The one playing the guitar"

"What?"

"The stealer"

"Oh…"

Chaeyeon just stayed silent.

"She's pretty, talented too. Chaeyeon…I think we'll have a problem…you just got competition."

"What are you spewing this time?"

"I think my heart just skipped a beat."

Chaeyeon laughed.

"You like her?"

"I don't know but…"

"Okay, Miss Destiny. There goes your love at first sight"

As they watched the band playing, Chaeyeon saw Yena heading towards them. She was with someone.

"Enjoying the music?"

"Sakura is having a blast."

"Chaeyeon wants to ask you something"

"What is it?"

"It's nothing. Who is…she?"

"Ah! She's one of the reasons why this party is special."

Chaeyeon and Sakura looked at each other as if saying "I told you".

"She's Chaewon, my girlfriend."

Chaeyeon gave a confused look while Sakura held her laughter.

"This is Chaeyeon and Sakura, my best friends."

"Nice to meet you, Chaewon."

"Nice to meet you too."

"Sorry about our reaction. It's just I had an incident this afternoon at a cafe'. Our names are kind of similar so…"

"What happened?"

"Her iced Americano was stolen and she had to take a mint choco frappe which she don't drink."

Chaewon was surprised. But she wasn't able to hide her smile.

"What a small world"

"Huh?"

"I'm actually that Chaewon."

"Really?"

"Really."

The four of them laughed.

"So, you know that woman?"

"Yeah. She's actually my best friend."

Chaewon pointed at the guitar player.

"I'm sorry for what happened. She didn't know she took the wrong drink until she handed it to me. She took an important call that time so…"

"Ah…I see."

"I'll introduce you to her."

"No, it's okay."

Sakura butted in.

"Can you introduce me too?"

"Sure."

Yena joined the conversation.

"Chaewon knows the band pretty well. They're friends. You can meet them after their set."

"Yeah, sure. They are actually an indie band."

"Maybe you can have them in your radio show, Sakura."

"Why not?"

"That would be great. I'm sure they'll like it."

Chaeyeon doesn't show interest but Sakura dragged her. They got free meet and greet with the band. Chaewon introduced them one by one.

"On drums is Yuri, on bass is Wonyoung, on keyboards is Minju, the vocalist is Yujin and on guitar is Eunbi."

Chaeyeon was silent the whole time. After saying her name, she just listened to the conversation. After the quick meet up, Chaeyeon and Sakura said thanks then excused themselves. Yena ran after them.

"Chaeyeon! Chaewon wants to talk to you"

"Tell her it's okay. It's not a big deal."

"Yah! My girlfriend is reaching out…"

"You really pulled that card, huh?"

"She said she just wanted to apologize properly."

"Okay, fine."

Sakura was about to tag along but Yena pulled her.

"Yah!"

"Just let them be."

"But…"

"Let's go for now."

Chaeyeon approached Chaewon then smiled.

"Actually, my best friend wanted to talk to you…"

"Ah…okay."

Finding a more quiet spot, Chaeyeon waited for Chaewon to come back with her best friend. An awkward silence occured as soon as the three of them gathered.

"Chaeyeon, this is my best friend, Eunbi."

"Hi. I'm Chae-Yeon."

"Hi. I'm Eunbi."

"So, I'll leave you two? Don't pull each other's hair, okay?"

The two smiled.

"I'm sorry about your coffee and what happened earlier", Eunbi uttered.

"It's okay. Let's not make it a big deal. I'm sorry about earlier too", Chaeyeon replied.

"Let me buy a coffee for you."

"I told you, it's fine."

"I insist."

Chaeyeon sighed.

"Okay."

"Saturday? Same time. same cafe'."

"I'll be there."

"See you then."

After agreeing to meet again, the two went back to their friends. Chaewon quickly asked Eunbi how it turned out. She even checked if her best friend was hurt.

"Yah! We didn't hit each other, okay?"

"Just making sure."

"She accepted my apology and I told her I'll buy her coffee."

Chaewon chuckled.

"What's funny?"

"It's not that. I just find the situation amusing, how small our world is."

Chaeyeon approached Sakura and Yena.

"How did it go?"

"It was okay. We said our apologies. She wanted to treat me coffee."

"Oh…"

"Why that reaction?"

"She wanted to see you again."

"She's just going to return the iced Americano she took."

"Can I come with you?" Sakura asked.

"You really like her, huh?" Chaeyeon replied.

"I'm just interested in her."

"How about you go instead of me then."

"Won't that be rude?"

"You'll invite them in your radio show, right? That's your chance then"

Chaeyeon met up with Eunbi. The moment she entered the cafe' she saw someone waving at her.

"I'm still on time, right?"

"Yeah. That was around this time"

They both chuckled.

"Iced Americano, right?"

"Hmmm"

"Okay. Wait here, I'll place the order."

Chaeyeon browsed her phone while waiting.

"Here."

Eunbi handed the coffee to Chaeyeon. The latter smiled as her name was written on the cup.

"I made sure you got the correct order."

"Thanks."

"You know, I'm not usually like that. I mean, I always pay attention to what's happening around me. But that day, I got a call I've been waiting for for the longest time. Enough to make me lose my focus."

"It happens, I guess."

"It's from my girlfriend. As far as I know she's still my girlfriend, until she became unreachable. It would have been better if she just said that it's over than leave me hanging like that. That day, when I took your order, she finally called."

Chaeyeon sipped her coffee as she listened to Eunbi. This is not what she expected. She thought, after getting the drink and some small talk, she gets to leave.

"I'm not sure what I'm supposed to say."

"Ah! Sorry. You don't have to say anything, I guess I'm just explaining myself."

"Well, I assume after that call you got answers…"

"I did."

"Isn't that a good thing?"

"It is. I don't have to wait anymore. It's over."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

It went silent for a moment. Eunbi handed two tickets to their next gig to Chaeyeon.

"Is this for free?"

Eunbi chuckled.

"Yes. You can bring Sakura with you."

"Thanks for this. She'll like it."

"I already returned your coffee. That's for what I did on your friend's party."

"This is not necessary. I told you, it's not a big deal."

"I know. I just want to do it. I guess I don't want people getting the wrong impression of me."

"I see."

"See you on the gig?"

"Ah…yeah…I'll talk with Sakura about it."

"I need to get going, we have a band practice."

"Okay. Thanks again for this and this."

Chaeyeon lifted the coffee cup and the two tickets Eunbi gave. After Eunbi left, Chaeyeon immediately called Sakura.

"Hello!"

"Where are you?"

"I just left the radio station."

"Let's meet at the cafe'."

"Is Eunbi still there?"

"She just left for band practice"

"Aw…"

"I got better news so come here quickly.".

"What is it?"

Chaeyeon hangs up. While waiting for Sakura, she checked her schedule and the date of the gig. After a while, she saw her best friend running towards her.

"What's up? Tell me."

"Yah! Sit down first."

"This got to be something good or else I'll really smack you."

Chaeyeon chuckled. She handed the gig tickets to Sakura.

"Eunbi gave me that and she specifically said to tag you along."

"Really? That's nice of her."

"Go with Yena,"

"You don't want to go?"

"I have a schedule that day."

"It's at night, Chaeyeon. I'm sure you're done by that time and Yena will probably go with Chaewon."

"Wow! You sure know my schedule."

"Of course I do. Let's go. I'm sure we'll have a good time. Their music is good, let's support them."

"Fine. We'll go."

"Yes!"

"How about their radio guesting?"

Sakura laughed.

"Why?"

"Nothing. You just can't help it, huh? Showing concern, helping other people, being nice, you just have it in you."

"It just comes out naturally I guess."

"I'm glad you're my best friend."

Chaeyeon has always been nice, it's like her monicker. She channels that nice personality and innate kindness in the youth center she's managing. The center helps out of school youth, providing them shelter and food. Aside from physical needs, they are also home schooled, given workshops to hone their talents and skills. For her, she wanted to give them hope for a better future.

Sakura and Chaeyeon went to the gig. Yena and Chaewon came too. When they met up, Chaewon's question got them laughing.

"Are they together?"

"No. They are just like that. They're best friends."

"Should we just cross the line? They always mistake us as a couple."

"It's not the first time that someone asked about them so they're used to it."

"I'm sorry, I was just curious."

"No harm done."

They entered the venue and picked their table. They enjoyed the music while having beer. Sakura hit Chaeyeon with her elbow getting the latter's attention.

"Why?"

"Eunbi is yours, I think I just fell for Minju."

Chaeyeon threw nuts on Sakura's face.

"Yah!"

"Are you planning on hitting on every one of them?"

"No! That time we were focused on Eunbi because of you so I haven't noticed that they actually have an angel in the band."

"Just shut up and listen to them."

"Look at how she plays that keyboard."

Chaeyeon just ignored Sakura.

When their set is done, the band thanked everyone for coming. Chaewon waved her hand to them. Sakura immediately went to them, the rest followed along. Chaeyeon paused as she receives a call. She signalled to them that she'll take it outside. After greeting the band, Chaewon, Sakura and Yena gave their compliments. The band thanked them for supporting their gig. While Sakura can't take her eyes off of Minju, Eunbi asked her where Chaeyeon is.

"Ah! She's with us. She just stepped out to take a call."

"I see."

"Let's drink together", Yena suggested.

"Sure!"

"You should complete your sentence. Let's drink together, it's on me", Sakura said.

Laughter followed after. Yena answered back.

"You heard her, right? It's on her."

"Yah!"

"Okay. It's on Chaeyeon, let's tell her when she comes back."

"Let's prank her."

Yena and Sakura managed to convince them to pull the prank. They settled down and conversations over drinks began. Eunbi excused herself to go to the restroom. Sakura told her to get Chaeyeon on her way back. Eunbi was torn if it's serious or it's a joke but she agreed. Coming from the restroom, she was about to go out but she bumped into Chaeyeon.

"Where are you going?"

"To you"

"Huh?"

"They asked me to pick you up since I went to the restroom."

"Ah…I bet Sakura asked you to."

"Yeah. We're actually drinking together…"

"Really? With the whole band?"

"Yes."

"Let's join them."

"Thank you for coming."

"I enjoyed it. Thanks for the tickets."

As they were walking, Eunbi suddenly stopped then turned away. Chaeyeon was clueless on what's happening so she just followed Eunbi.

"Why? Is there something wrong?"

"Ah…ahm…"

"What? You're making me nervous."

"Remember what I told you about the phone call?"

"Hmmm"

"She's here. I just saw her and I think she saw me too."

"So what? You said you're through."

Eunbi's expression suddenly changed. Chaeyeon noticed it.

"What do you want to do?"

"I don't know."

"Why did you turn away? Are you embarassed? You can't face her? After what she did, she's the one who should be feeling that."

"She found someone new…"

Chaeyeon quickly glanced around and asked Eunbi where is her ex.

"Why?"

"I just want to check."

"2 o'clock, long black hair, jeans, purple top"

"She's looking…at our…direction…"

Chaeyeon paused as recognized the person Eunbi described. She suddenly chuckled making Eunbi confused.

"I know her."

"What?"

"She's Hyewon, right? We're schoolmates in high school. Even then, she's known to be a heartbreaker. I can't believe she hasn't changed."

"You really know her?"

"Yes. So, what can I help you with?"

"Let's just avoid her."

"Why do you want to avoid her?"

"She's coming towards us", Eunbi said in a worried tone.

"Why do you sound afraid? You still like her? She replaced you already."

"I don't want to face her…let's just go."

Chaeyeon took a deep breath before she spoke.

"How about we show her that you have moved on too?"

"What do you mean? She's approaching with her girlfriend.

"Let me steal something from you this time."

"Huh?"

Chaeyeon stepped closer then kissed Eunbi's lips. When their lips parted, Chaeyeon held Eunbi's hand.

"Let's go."

As soon as they turned, they faced Eunbi's ex who's with her new girl. They didn't give her a chance to speak, Chaeyeon quickly dragged Eunbi away from her. As they near their table, Chaeyeon finally let go of Eunbi's hand. An awkward silence followed after. Chaewon save them from awkwardness as she called Eunbi. The two approached the table and acted as natural as possible.

"You really brought her", Sakura said.

"I bumped into her on my way back."

"Did you tell her?"

Eunbi almost forgot about the prank.

"No, I didn't."

Chaeyeon began to get curious.

"Yah! What are you talking about?"

They just laughed.

"Yena said you're going to pay for this", Sakura said.

"Seriously?"

"Yup!"

"Okay. Drink all you want."

The band members and Chaewon were shocked on what Chaeyeon said while Sakura and Yena just smiled.

"That's our Chaeyeon", Yena said.

"She's always like that", Sakura added.

"What are you two blabbering about all of a sudden?", Chaeyeon said.

"Don't worry, we won't take advantage of your kindness tonight. We got this. We're just playing with you."

They continued drinking while having silly conversations. While all of that is happening, Eunbi and Chaeyeon kept glancing at each other. They were seated with them but their mind is somewhere else. When they finally decided to call it a night, they said their goodbyes and agreed to drink together again. Chaeyeon grabbed Sakura who can barely walk by herself.

"Chaeyeon…are you…okay?"

"I should be the one asking you that."

"I had…so much…fun."

"Yeah. I can see that. Let's go, I'll take you home."

"Why…did you…stay quiet? You didn't…even drink…that much…"

"So I can drive you home."

Chaeyeon dragged Sakura in the car. Her best friend just won't stop talking. She can't help but smile seeing that Sakura really had a good time.

"Chaeyeon…you can…have Eunbi…"

"Yah! Let's just go home."

"I'm saying…Eunbi is…yours…I got…Minju's…number..."

"That was quick"

"I…want to…get to…know her…You should…do the same…with Eunbi…"

It's been a week since Chaeyeon kissed Eunbi. She found herself constantly reminded of what she did. She tried to not think about it but it just pops up all of a sudden. "Why did I do that?" She kept telling herself. After keeping it to herself, she finally decided to open it up to Sakura and Yena. She texted the two.

"Emergency!"

"Will be there right away"

"I'll buy beer on the way."

"Okay."

Sakura arrived first. She immediately asked Chaeyeon what happened. The latter said to wait for Yena as she don't want to repeat what she's going to say. Sakura kept nagging but Chaeyeon didn't budge. When Yena arrived, the three gathered in the living room. After taking a deep breath, Chaeyeon spoke.

"I did something."

"Just say it."

"You said it's an emergency."

"I kissed Eunbi."

Yena and Sakura gave different reactions. Yena was shocked while Sakura was so happy. Chaeyeon just looked at them. Yena expressed her disbelief.

"Did you really pursue her? Are you dating? How come I don't know?"

"Yah! Can you ask one at a time? We're not really on a rush in here."

Sakura butted in.

"I'm just happy for you."

"It's not what you think it is."

Yena began to get confused. She told Sakura to shut up and let Chaeyeon speak first. As the two kept their mouth shut, Chaeyeon told them everything. She told them why she kissed Eunbi, insisted that she was just trying to help. Since Sakura knew Hyewon also, she was not able to control herself and gave a reaction. In the end, Chaeyeon told them that she wanted to talk to Eunbi as the latter might get the wrong idea. After explaining the situation, Chaeyeon asked them for advice. Yena grabbed a can of beer then chugged it before speaking.

"Do you like her?"

"Huh?"

"Answer the question"

"I…don't…know"

"We all know how nice you are to other people, how you always want to help others. I get that it's your intention to help Eunbi but isn't kissing her too much? If you really did it without any feelings for her, anyone would think you're fooling yourself."

Chaeyeon didn't respond.

"That kindness of yours can sometimes be mistaken. If that really is harmless as you're saying, then tell her that before she gets a wrong impression."

After hearing what Yena has to say, Chaeyeon turned to Sakura. The latter was smiling but immediately turned in a serious mode as she gave her advice.

"I've been pushing you to Eunbi since day one. I even said that you're meant to be. I know it sounded sarcastic at that time but I really meant it. I was interested for her momentarily but it's nothing. I thought it's not bad if you get to know more about her. And I have a reason for that. You are the kindest person that we know. Always putting others first before yourself. Sometimes I honestly think you're too nice, too good to be true. I know that you're happy with what you're doing but you could be happier. Of course, you'll always have us but I really wish you can meet someone because you deserve to be taken care of too. Who knows? Maybe it's Eunbi."

Chaeyeon just listened.

"I can't believe you actually kissed her. I have to agree with Yena on that. Unless she asked you to kiss her, which is not the case based on your story. I'll say, sort out your feelings first. We don't want to put words in your mouth and insist on what we think this is. You're the one who can answer that. We said our piece, you make your move."

---

"Chaewon, do you have Chaeyeon's number?"

"No. But I can ask Yena for it. Why?"

"Are Chaeyeon and Sakura a thing?"

After reading Eunbi's last text, Chaewon called her.

"Why do you ask?"

"Just curious"

"They are just best friends. Did something happen?"

Eunbi sighed.

"She kissed me."

"What?"

"But it's not that kind of kiss. She just did that to save me from the situation."

"Wait! I'm not following. What kiss? What saving?"

Eunbi told Chaewon about bumping into Hyewon on the bar where they had the gig. She explained that Chaeyeon knew about what Hyewon did to her so she came up with the idea of showing off.

"Do you like her?"

"Why are you asking me that?"

"Because I think you do."

Eunbi didn't respond. Chaewon continued asking questions.

"Why do you want her number?"

"I just want to talk…"

"I'll see what I can do."

"Thank you, Chaewon."

After hanging up, Eunbi received a text from an unknown number. She quickly opened it.

"Hi!

It's Chaeyeon.

I asked Sakura to get your number from Minju.

Can we talk?

Tell me when you're free."

Eunbi smiled. She replied on Chaeyeon's message.

"I also have something to tell you.

I'm free this Friday."

Chaeyeon and Eunbi met on the cafe' where they first encountered each other. This time, Chaeyeon arrived first. After listening to her friend's advice, she decided to make her move. When Eunbi arrived, she casually greeted her.

"Can I get you anything?"

"Iced Americano"

"Really?"

"I actually ended up drinking your iced Americano that got switched with Chaewon's mint choco."

"I see. Wait a minute, I'll place the order."

Chaeyeon came back with the coffee for Eunbi.

"Thank you!"

"You're welcome."

Then there was silence. Chaeyeon almost finished her drink before finally speaking up.

"I want to apologize for what I did."

Eunbi looked at Chaeyeon.

"I'm sorry for kissing you…My intention was to help but I think I went overboard. Sorry."

"To be honest, I was shocked. I wasn't expecting it. After that night, I kept thinking about it. In the end, I felt glad. Someone took courage for me when I can't be brave on my own."

"I stole something from you that I can't even return."

Eunbi smirked.

"How do you know that? Maybe you'll need my help in the future. I can take it back then."

"You'll kiss me too?"

"You stole a kiss, you return a kiss"

"I should have just stolen something else…"

Eunbi laughed.

"It's okay, Chaeyeon. I understand now."

"Actually, what happened that night had me thinking too. I ended up asking for your number and meeting you here. Aside from apologizing, I came to say that I want to know you better."

A curve was formed on Eunbi's lips. She tried to hide it by sipping her coffee.

"Friends?"

Eunbi reached out her hand to Chaeyeon. The latter shook it.

"Friends."

They smiled at each other.

"So, when is your next gig?" Chaeyeon asked.

"You wanna come?" Eunbi replied.

"If I have time."

"The ticket won't be free this time."

Chaeyeon laughed.

"I'll pay for it. Don't worry."

"Can I ask what you do? I mean, your profession?"

"I manage a youth center for out of school youth."

"Oh…that's nice."

"Being in a band is nice too."

"Yeah. I love what I do."

"Me too."

They both chuckled.

Chaeyeon's phone rang as she received a call from the youth center.

"I'm sorry. I need to get going."

"Ah, okay."

"Would you like to visit the center some time?"

"Sure. Just let me know."

"Okay, I'll go ahead. See you soon."

Even after Chaeyeon left the cafe', Eunbi can't stop smiling.

Chaewon asked Yena for Chaeyeon's number. She said that Eunbi is the one asking for it.

"Did Chaeyeon say anything to you?" Chaewon asked.

Yena smiled as she realized that the two are seeking advice from them. She then told Chaewon that although Eunbi and Chaeyeon confides with them, they should let them be. Chaewon said that she is just concerned for her best friend. Yena emphasized that she is concerned for Chaeyeon too, she and Sakura. But as much as they want to get involved, they should know their boundaries as friends. Chaewon agreed with Yena. She explained where her concern is coming from, it's from Eunbi's last relationship. She shared how her best friend suffered from it. Yena told her not to worry too much. She went on saying that Chaeyeon is a good person. Without bias, she is the kindest person to her.

"How about me?"

"You're different of course. What I meant is, kindest among my friends."

Yena held her laugher as she saw Chaewon about to sulk.

"That kindness I'm talking about is what paved the way for our friendship."

"I get what you're saying. I guess my best friend instinct just kicked in. If there's one thing I kind of hate about Eunbi is she falls in love real quick. I mean, in every relationship she had, she began liking the person after meeting her. You know what they say, "If you got it easily, you'll lose it easily". Her relationships doesn't last that long. The last one she had even ghosted her. So, when it comes to her lovelife, I can't help but get worried."

"I think we're on the same boat with that. We don't worry about anything on Chaeyeon except she hasn't been in a relationship, ever. Her lovelife is kind of our concern too."

Chaewon and Yena laughed.

"Let's not worry too much. I have a good feeling about this", Yena said confidently.

"I really hope this would turn out well", Chaewon replied.

"Are we done talking about them?"

"Hmmm"

Yena hugged Chaewon.

"I have such a nice girlfriend", she uttered.

Chaewon tightened her hug.

"I'm glad you're my girlfriend", she said.

"But if we come to think of it, this is all your fault."

"Huh?"

"Your mint choco frappe that Eunbi bought turned into iced Americano."

Yena  laughed. Chaewon slightly hit her arm.

"Let's just wait on how those two will turn out."

Chaewon sent Chaeyeon's number to Eunbi. She smiled before sending a reply.

"Thanks but I don't need it anymore."

"Why? You changed your mind?"

"She texted me already and we just met recently."

"Oh…what a turn of events. What's the latest?"

"She apologized for the kiss and we agreed to be friends."

"Friends? That's new."

"You're so mean."

"I'm glad with your decision. Take your time, she seems to be really nice."

"She is. That's why I like her."

"There you go again…"

"What?"

"Saying 'I like her', I thought you're going in a different route"

"I am. But it doesn't change the fact that I like her. You said it yourself the moment I asked for her number, you knew. This time, I'll do it step by step."

"I hope everything goes well. I'm just here if you need me."

"Thank you, Chaewon."

While Chaeyeon's intention for their meet-up is to apologize and express her desire to get to know Eunbi better, Eunbi actually wanted to confess to Chaeyeon. But for some reason, she held back. After hearing what Chaeyeon has to say, the idea of getting to know each other better rang a bell. "It would be nice to be friends first", that's what she thought. This time, she wanted to take it slow.

***

Eunbi received a call confirming their guesting on Sakura's radio show. She immediately contacted her bandmates to inform them about it. She texted Chaeyeon right after. A reply came in quickly.

"That's nice. Sakura called me too. Good luck! I asked her if I can watch live but she didn't give me a definite answer."

"They said a few fans can come.

"Ah, I see. I guess, friends don't always get a free pass."

"Let's just say that you're our fan."

"But I'm you fan."

"Then you're in."

"Would that be okay? I feel like I'm stealing someone else's spot."

"Don't worry, I got you. I'll make sure you won't feel like you stole anything. You said you're our fan, right?"

"I'll be there then."

"See you."

Chaeyeon texted Sakura saying she'll come to watch the guesting. The latter replied a laughing emoji. Chaeyeon sent a screenshot of her conversation with Eunbi. Sakura sent a heart emoji.

"What up with these emojis?"

"I'm happy. I can feel the love."

"Whatever. See you."

"See you, Chaeyeon."

The radio guesting went well. Chaeyeon behaved like a fan and just listened to their music and interview. While watching them, an idea popped in her head. She waved at Eunbi when they made eye contact. When the show was over, she left with the rest of the fans. She messaged Eunbi saying she enjoyed the songs and their interview. She also sent a message to Sakura that she'll be in the lobby. While waiting, she saw the band about to head out, she greeted them. She complimented them for their performance. After saying thanks, Minju said something that made Chaeyeon shy all of a sudden.

"Let's go! Eunbi, we'll go ahead. See you on practice tomorrow."

Eunbi gave a confused look but her bandmates were all smiles. Chaeyeon on the other hand can't even look at them.

"Hope to see you on our next gig", Yuri said.

Chaeyeon just smiled.

"Come on, let's leave them alone", Yujin butted in.

Wonyoung drag her members as they head out. Eunbi waved at them.

"You're waiting for Sakura?"

"Hmmm"

"I see."

"Wait for a second, I'll just send a text."

Chaeyeon took her phone and sent a message to Sakura.

"Catch up with you next time."

She quickly put her phone in her pocket and turned to Eunbi.

"Where to?"

"Huh?"

"What shoud we do?"

"I thought you're waiting for…"

"I thought that this is an opportunity to get to know you better."

Eunbi smiled as she went ahead. Chaeyeon followed after.

"Where are we going?"

"To my place"

Chaeyeon stopped walking. Eunbi chuckled.

"Why? Don't worry, I won't do anything you don't want me to."

"Do you live alone?"

Eunbi laughed.

"Yeah. I do. Why do you ask?"

"Nothing. Just curious"

"Are you coming or not?"

"Of course, I'm coming."

When they reached Eunbi's house, Chaeyeon was amazed on how everything is organized.

"Make yourself comfortable"

Chaeyeon kept looking around as Eunbi prepared something to eat.

"You have a nice place."

"Thank you."

"It must be nice living alone."

"Hmmm…it is. But it gets lonely once in a while."

"I still live at my parent's house but I also stay at the center most of the time. I have my own room there."

"That counts as semi-living alone."

Chaeyeon blurted a short laugh as ate the snacks Eunbi prepared.

"You must really love music"

"It's pretty obvious, huh? I even set up a mini studio."

"Wow! Your bandmates must be here all the time."

"Yeah. If we like to jam or just hang out. It's usually here."

"How long have you been playing?"

"Well, since I was young but I had to stop. My parents kind of disagree with the path I wanted to take plus the financial aspect. So, I had to set aside music to help the family. When we became stable that is when I picked up my guitar again."

"You went for what your heart really wanted."

"Hmmm…"

"When did you guys get together?"

"The band?"

"Yeah."

Eunbi shared how she met Yuri, Wonyoung, Minju, and Yujin at a Music Camp. Since she felt like starting over, she thought of joining the camp. When she got there she got intimidated by the other participants. During lectures and sessions, she would take the farthest seat. It was after two sessions when Yujin sat beside her and began talking to her. They had lunch together and Yujin introduced her to Minju and Wonyoung whom she met on the previous camp. Yuri was her roommate, she didn't know until the second day since Yuri just arrived then. Eunbi expressed her amazement on how the five of them met. It was during a workshop that they were formed rather, they grouped themselves. And as they say, the rest is history.

"To be honest, I was a bit uncertain going back to music. But when I met them, I was relieved. I actually drew strength from them."

It was silent for a moment. Eunbi noticed Chaeyeon staring at her. When they made eye contact, Chaeyeon looked away.

"Why?"

"You're so pretty.."

"That's so random"

"But you are."

"You noticed that just now?" Eunbi confidently asked.

Chaeyeon chuckled.

"No. I've noticed it before but I can say it to you now."

Eunbi smiled.

"You're pretty too."

"Thank you for returning the favor."

"I'm serious."

"I'm not saying you're not."

"I'm saying you're pretty, Chaeyeon."

Chaeyeon smiled.

"Is that why you kissed me? Because you find me beautiful"

"Yah! Why did you bring that up again?"

"You're blushing."

Chaeyeon covered her face while Eunbi laughed at her.  After a good laugh, Eunbi asked something with a serious tone.

"Are you and…"

"No!"

"Why are you answering without finishing my question?"

"We're just best friends."

Eunbi was shocked. Although she heard about it from Chaewon, she wanted to hear it herself.

"How did you know that's my question?"

"I just knew. Almost everyone mistake us as a couple. There are times when we consider crossing that line but we never did. Also, I've never had one…girlfriend, I mean."

"I've had four."

Chaeyeon was a bit surprised on what Eunbi admitted. She remembered how Eunbi casually shared about her girlfriend that kept her hanging in the air.

"But all of them didn't really last that long. The longest relationship I had was the last one. It lasted 7 months including the time she disappeared like a bubble."

"You shouldn't count that. Just up until she's really your girlfriend, not some ghost you keep looking for."

Eunbi chuckled.

"Okay. So, 4 months."

Chaeyeon glared at Eunbi.

"You waited for 3 months? Why?"

"Because I love her."

"But she left you hanging…"

"When you fall in love, you'll do things you think you wouldn't do."

Chaeyeon wasn't able to respond.

"You'll understand me once you fall in love. It really compels us to do things we never imagined."

Eunbi looked at Chaeyeon. At the back of her head she's thinking of just saying it to her. Confession is not always flashy, it can be this simple. She didn't notice that she has been staring at Chaeyeon for quite a while. She just got back into her senses when Chaeyeon spoke.

"Are you free this weekend?"

"Saturday? Let me see."

"Would you like to go with me in the youth center? I have a proposal for your band."

"I have time in the morning. What are you planning?"

"Let's talk there."

"Okay."

Time passed by without them knowing, it's night already. Chaeyeon quickly took her phone to check her inbox. She saw her mom's message and Sakura's reply to her text earlier.

"Minju told me they left Eunbi with you. Enjoy your time with her."

"I need to go"

"You can stay for dinner."

"Ahm…maybe next time. We actually have dinner at home."

"Okay."

"Thank you for today, Eunbi. I had a great time."

"Me too. It's nice having someone here aside from my bandmates and Chaewon."

"See you at the center this Saturday."

"I'll be there."

"Let's have dinner next time."

When Chaeyeon left, Eunbi found herself smiling. "So this is what it feels like, getting to know each other", she kept whispering. She began tidying her place. When she's done, she took her phone and saw Chaeyeon's message to her.

"I just got home.

Thank you for letting me in your home and for sharing your story,

I felt like somehow I got to enter your world.

Thanks again for today."

Eunbi smiled from ear to ear.

"You're welcome.

Thank you for listening to my story.

I had fun today"

Eunbi set a reminder for Saturday. She doesn't know what Chaeyeon is up to but she's excited. Just before going to bed, she received another text from Chaeyeon.

"Good night, Eunbi."

After reading the text, Eunbi just stared at her phone. She can't help but smile. It's a simple 'good night' but it made her so happy. She sent a reply before sleeping.

"Good night, Chaeyeon."

***

Eunbi and Chaeyeon met at the cafe' where they first met before going to the youth center. Chaeyeon bought two iced Americano beforehand. When Eunbi arrived, she quickly spotted Chaeyeon. Seeing the two cups, Eunbi smiled. Chaeyeon slowly slid the cup towards Eunbi's direction.

"Coffee."

"Thank you."

Chaeyeon smiled.

"So, what's the proposal about?"

"I'd like your band to have a gig on the youth center."

"Oh…"

"And, to do workshops for them."

"Really?"

"Yeah. We normally do workshops for them to develop their talents and skills. At first I thought of just inviting your band for a gig. I mean, the usual, you play your songs and they will watch you. But after hearing about your story, the music camp, I thought maybe you can inspire them as well."

Eunbi was just quiet. Chaeyeon waited for her response.

"I love it. I mean, that would be great. I'm sure my bandmates will like it too."

"I'm glad you liked the idea."

After briefly talking about the proposal, Chaeyeon took Eunbi to the youth center. She toured her around as she told her more about the youth center. They even peeked in the class that's on going. As they continued going around, they reached the office.

"Welcome to my place", Chaeyeon said as she opened the door.

"You sleep here", Eunbi asked making Chaeyeon laugh.

"I have a small room there."

"Ah…"

"Make yourself comfortable"

Eunbi looked around as Chaeyeon called someone on the phone.

"How long have you been running this place?"

"Three years"

"Is this what you really wanted to do?"

"Hmmm…honestly, yes. My parents actually wanted me to do it and I accepted it."

"It suits you. You're very kind and helpful. You're a nice person, Chaeyeon."

Their conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door. Two of her staff came in as Chaeyeon opened the door. They handed some documents and put the food they brought on the table.

"They are my left and right hand in this center, Nako and Hitomi."

"Hello! Nice to meet you. I'm Eunbi."

"Hi! Is she…"

"My friend"

"Ah…"

"Thank you. I'll see you later."

Nako and Hitomi left while Eunbi and Chaeyeon went silent for a moment.

"Have some", Chaeyeon offered the food on the table.

"Thank you."

"You know, I hear 'thank you' a lot. People saying that I'm nice and kind is not really new to me. I'm not saying that I don't like it but you know, it's something I got used to. I guess it's inevitable since the main goal of the center is to help. Naturally you'll get thanked by the person you helped. But you know what? I'm also grateful to them. Each of the out of school youth here has a story to tell. Being part of their journey makes me happy. For not giving up, choosing a better path and hoping for a bright future that awaits them is something I'm really thankful for."

"Have you heard of the Korean drama, Hospital Playlist?"

"What about it?"

"Well, I liked it not only because of the story but also because they have a band there. They are five friends, doctors who formed a band. They play once in a while after work. Anyway, I was reminded of a scene there where the female lead, one of the five saying that she thinks that there are three types of people in this world. First, those who are happy when they are eating something good. Second, they enjoy the food the most when they're eating alone. And third, which I think is you. Seeing other's enjoy good food makes you happier than when you are eating it yourself."

"I'm like that?"

"I think so."

Chaeyeon smiled.

"So, what do you think of the proposal?"

"It's really good. It's definitely something new but I'm sure they'll like it as much as I do. But we are getting…"

"Of course, you'll be compensated."

Chaeyeon handed the proposal along with the contract.

"Talk with your bandmates about it. Let me know what you agreed upon."

"Okay. We'll talk this through. Thank you."

The phone in the office rang. Chaeyeon picked it up. The call took longer so Eunbi walked around the office. She reached the door that Chaeyeon said is her room. She just walked passed by it then sat back on the couch.

"I'm sorry about that."

"It's okay. You need to work of course."

"You want to see my room?"

"Is that okay?"

Chaeyeon opened the door and let Eunbi in.

"This is where I sleep"

Eunbi scanned the room while Chaeyeon observed her.

"This is nice and cozy"

While Eunbi is looking around, she noticed that Chaeyeon is staring at her.

"What is it this time?"

"I think I'm done."

"What?"

"I'm done."

"Done with what?"

"Looking"

"I don't get what you're saying."

Chaeyeon stepped closer to Eunbi making the latter fluster.

"The last time you came this close, your lips touched mine."

"I won't do that today…unless you want me to."

"Why are you acting like this all of a sudden?"

"I want to tell you something."

Eunbi just waited for Chaeyeon to speak.

"Remember what I told you during Yena's birthday?"

"Which one?"

"I asked if it's your habit, stealing something…"

"Ah!"

Eunbi chuckled.

"But I haven't stolen anything from you since then. It was you who stole a kiss."

"That's not true"

"Huh?"

"This may sound cheesy but I'll say it anyway."

Chaeyeon looked straight into Eunbi's eyes then uttered, "You have stolen my heart". Eunbi wasn't able to respond. Chaeyeon smiled at her as she continued speaking.

"I don't want you to return it. I'm letting you steal it."

There was a short silence. Chaeyeon took a deep breath before uttering her next words.

"I like you, Eunbi. I like you a lot."

Eunbi looked down making Chaeyeon worry. As Eunbi slowly looked up, tears run down her face. She wasn't expecting Chaeyeon's confession. She was so happy that her heart wasn't able to take it. Chaeyeon gave a concerned look. She wiped Eunbi's tears with her hand.

"Why are you crying?"

"You made me cry."

Chaeyeon blurted a short laugh as she tried to comfort Eunbi.

"It's the first time someone confessed to me first. I'm always the first one expressing my feelings to someone I like."

"Well, it's my first time confessing to anyone. And I'm glad it's you."

Eunbi finally smiled.

"You're not gonna say anything?" Chaeyeon asked.

"Let me do something instead", Eunbi replied.

She opened her arms then hugged Chaeyeon.

"Let me take care of you. Allow me to stay by your side always. I'll make you happy."

Chaeyeon leaned her on Eunbi's shoulder as the latter tightened her hug. When they let go of the hug, Eunbi expressed what she wanted to say. She's been thinking of confessing her feelings to Chaeyeon for quite some time now but an unexpected thing took place. On her head, there's no better way to say it than just say what she truly feels.

"I like you, Chaeyeon. You have no idea how much I've been wanting to say that but I'm glad I held back. Taking my time made everything worth it."

Eunbi leaned forward then whispered something to Chaeyeon.

"I think it's time to return what you stole from me."

"I guess I have no choice."

Eunbi kissed Chaeyeon's lips. When their lips parted, Chaeyeon looked Eunbi in the eyes before kissing her lips again. This time, no one is stealing something from another, they both want it. Their passionate kiss was interrupted by phone call on the office. Eunbi break their kiss and told Chaeyeon to answer the phone. But the latter won't do it.

"It can wait. This can't."

She pulled Eunbi closer then kissed her again.

***

Chaeyeon sent a text to Sakura and Yena.

"Emergency!"

"What is it this time? I'll be there."

"I have beer so no need to buy on your way."

"I'll just buy chicken then."

"Just get here quickly."

Sakura arrived first, Yena came in a few minutes later. Chaeyeon ate the chicken that Sakura brought. The two just looked at her.

"Yah! I thought there's an emergency but you're eating happily."

"It's delicious. Have some too"

Yena chuckled.

"So, you texted us for nothing?"

"Looks like it", Sakura agreed.

Chaeyeon stopped eating then turned to her friends.

"I kissed Eunbi."

Sakura and Yena wasn't able to react right away. They're not sure how to after hearing what Chaeyeon said.

"You kissed her again?"

"Yes."

Yena smiled as she realized the situation. Sakura on the other hand is the one who is confused. Yena turned to Sakura then she nod at her. They glared at each other before turning to Chaeyeon.

"What?"

"Say it."

Chaeyeon smiled brightly.

"I kissed…"

"No, not that."

"I confessed my feelings to Eunbi."

"And?"

"She said she likes me too."

"Ah!!!“

Sakura and Yena screamed. Chaeyeon tried her best to shut them up.

"Yah! Why did you scream like that?"

"Because this is an emergency."

The three laughed together.

When the laughter died down, Yena took a can of beer then proposed a toast. The two just followed along.

"To Chaeyeon who finally found someone to love."

After the cheers, the mood shifted on the serious side.

"I'm happy for you, Chaeyeon. I told you, destiny works." Sakura said.

"You deserve to be happy and I'm just glad you found someone to share that happiness with." Yena said with a big smile on her face. She remembered the conversation she had with Chaewon, how they worried about them. Even then she knew it'll turn out well but hearing it gave some kind of relief.

"Thank you, for always looking out for me. I'm happy, I really am. Maybe because this is something new for me or because, like what you said, I found love."

Yena and Sakura hugged Chaeyeon. Their group hug was interrupted by a phone call.

"Yah! That's my phone ringing", Chaeyeon said.

"We know."

"Can we continue this group hug later?"

The two eventually let go. They peeked in and confirmed that it's Eunbi who's calling. Chaeyeon answered it and entered her room.

"Don't you feel any pressure right now?" Yena asked Sakura.

"Why would I be pressured?"

"Just saying. We're both in a relationship now."

Sakura just chuckled.

"Just in case you forgot, I'm the first one who got into a relationship among us. I may be single now but no need to get pressured. I want my next relationship to be the last one."

It's Yena's turn to laugh. While the two are bickering, Chaeyeon hasn't came back still. They even knocked on her door but it looks like the call would not end soon.

---

Eunbi went to Chewon's place. She handed the mint choco frappe she bought for her as soon as she came in.

"Thank you! Is this free or…"

"Yah! I just wanted to get you something."

"You wanted to visit me all of sudden, of course I had some thoughts."

"I just want to talk."

"You should've brought beer instead."

Eunbi smiled.

"So, what are we going to talk about?"

"Hmmm…it's Chaeyeon…"

"Why? Did something happen?"

"She kissed me."

Chaewon almost choked on her frappe.

"Say that again."

"Chaeyeon kissed me."

After looking at her best friend's face, Chaewon smiled.

"Tell me everything first."

Eunbi told Chaewon how Chaeyeon confessed to her. She shared how she got emotional after hearing that Chaeyeon likes her. Eunbi expressed how satisfying it was to finally say her feelings.

"I want to say thank you, for always being there for me. I know this part of my life worries you the most. Don't worry, I met a good person. I spent time getting to know her and I'll try my best to make our relationship work. You know, I don't want us to become another used to be."

"I'm happy for you, Eunbi. I got your back always. I'm just glad to see you like this now. I hope for the best for you and Chaeyeon."

Chaewon hugged Eunbi.

"Thank you for asking me to buy a mint choco frappe that day. I thought I only stole her coffee, I didn't know I stole her heart too."

The two shared a good laugh.

Eunbi's phone rang and she immediately answered it. Chaewon just watched her best friend. She can't help but smile as she remembered the conversation she had with Yena. Seeing Eunbi this happy, made her happy as well. She's relieved it turned out well with the two. Though their start was not the best one, it's good to see how an unexpected encounter can turn into something beautiful.

***

Eunbi's band accepted Chaeyeon's proposal. They agreed to meet at youth center to discuss everything in detail. Chaeyeon waited for them in her office. She called Nako and Hitomi to join them in the meeting. A call came in and Chaeyeon excitedly took it. When she hung up, Nako and Hitomi were looking at her with smiles on their faces.

"They're here. Why are two looking at me like that?"

"Your smile is contagious, we can feel your happiness in a few seconds call."

Chaeyeon chuckled.

"My girlfriend called…"

Nako and Hitomi high fived each other making Chaeyeon laugh.

"Let's get ready. We have a meeting, right?"

When the band came in, Chaeyeon greeted them and shook their hands, even Eunbi's. Giggles can be heard but the couple tried to ignore it. They both agreed to set aside their personal relationship and focus on the project they'll be working on.

When they settled down, an awkward silence filled the room. They ended up looking at each other and eventually laughed together. Yujin decided to speak up.

"You two can act how you normally would. We won't mind."

Eunbi and Chaeyeon just smiled.

"Let's finish the task at hand first", Eunbi said.

"Right. Let's start the meeting", Chaeyeon said.

They get down to business as they thoroughly tackle the project for the youth center. With some silly conversations on the side, all in all, everything went well. After hours of planning, Chaeyeon treated everyone with a lot of food. With a more relaxed atmosphere, teasing began for the new couple.

"Eunbi talk about you all the time", Yuri said.

"She's in a good mood most of the time these days. I guess we can thank you for that", Wonyoung added.

"Yah! You're embarassing me", Eunbi said.

"Don't mind her, continue", Chaeyeon blurted. She got a slight slap on the arm from her girlfriend.

"She doesn't nag us that much now. Maybe because, she's paying attention to you more than us", Minju shared.

"It's not your fault by the way. Our little mistakes and shortcomings were overlooked because of that", Yujin pointed out as the rest of the members agreed.

Eunbi's face turned red, Chaeyeon was all smiles listening to her girlfriend's bandmates.

"That's all you got to say, huh? Thank you for exposing me."

Laughter filled the room after. Chaeyeon pat Eunbi's head as they smiled at each other. They continued to enjoy the food and each other's company. When Eunbi went to the washroom, Yujin approached Chaeyeon.

"We're just teasing Eunbi. Well, part of it is true but some are just to make fun of her. We don't get to do that often, you know."

"I see."

"She's so excited when she told us about you, we saw genuine happiness. Thank you for loving our Eunbi. Thank you also for this nice opportunity for our band. We agreed right away after Eunbi told us about the project. I don't really know why I'm being like this all of a sudden. I guess, it's because you're different. I meant that in a good way. Did she tell you about the song she wrote for you?"

Chaeyeon shook her head. Yujin almost cursed as she covered .

"Just don't tell her I told you."

"Okay."

"She never wrote a song about her relationships. But after our gig on your friend's birthday, she began writing the song."

Chaeyeon was surprised.

"This is really TMI, that's when we knew this is something different, you're special. We're happy for the both of you. When she shared how you ended up knowing each other, we found it amusing. I guess fate really works. Take care of each other, okay? Don't let anyone steal your girl."

Yujin smiled as she tapped Chaeyeon's shoulder, the latter said thank you. After talking to Yujin, Chaeyeon saw Minju coming towards her.

"What did Yujin say to you?"

"Ah…"

"I'm kidding, no need to say it. I guess she thanked you already."

"Yeah."

"I wanted to say thank you too, for the chance not only to play for the young ones but to be able to impart something to them."

"I should be the one thanking you, your idea of holding a concert after the workshop is really great."

"They are at the age where they're discovering themselves and finding where they'll be in the future. We can only offer music since it's what we're good at but not all of them would really get into it. Doing a culminating activity like a concert will involve all of them not only those who are inclined with music. We are all different and it would be nice to make them realize that. Some can take part on making posters and other promotional materials, others can help in preparing food, some will act as usher, one will take the role of an emcee and of course those we will perform. Who knows? Maybe one or more of them will really end up in a band too. But, I hope they'll be happy on whatever path they choose."

"That's what I hope for too. You're really like an angel as Sakura said."

Minju smiled.

"I see why you and Eunbi clicked. You are both passionate in what you do. Taking the leader role is never easy but she's really doing a good job at it. I'm glad she has found someone to take care of her. She's been looking after us all this time. We are there for her too, of course but knowing that she has you make us at ease. Yujin probably said the same, you're different from the others she dated. We didn't root for them as much as we root for you."

Chaeyeon smiled from ear to ear.

"By the way, Sakura and I agreed to be just friends. I guess she hasn't told you. I actually like someone else…the person you talked to before me."

Chaeyeon was shocked. Minju smiled as she tapped Chaeyeon's shoulder then walked away.

They finally called it a day and hoped that the project will be successful. Chaeyeon, Nako and Hitomi thanked the band for taking the project. The band also hoped that it will be a meaningful time for the youth. Eveyone left except for Eunbi. She invited Chaeyeon to her place prior to the meeting.

"Don't believe everything they said earlier, I'm pretty sure they are just teasing me."

"Why do you sound defensive? I had a good time listening to them."

"Yah! You should be on my side."

Chaeyeon wrapped her arm on Eunbi's shoulder.

"I'm on your side."

Eunbi pouted.

"You're teasing me too."

"You're fun to tease."

Eunbi tried to remove Chaeyeon's arm but the latter won't let her.

"Let's go to your place now."

The two left the youth center together. As they are on their way, Chaeyeon was reminded on what Yujin said to her earlier. She's actually thinking of asking Eunbi about it but she opted not to. When they arrived, Eunbi just told Chaeyeon to help herself. She immediately went to her mini studio. A few minutes later, she went out with guitar and sheets of paper on her hand. Upon seeing it, Chaeyeon smiled. She thought maybe, this is what Yujin was talking about. But she doesn't want to get ahead of herself so she just looked at her girlfriend.

"I wrote a song for you."

Chaeyeon wasn't sure how to react since she already heard about it from Yujin but she wanted to act innocent about it.

"R--eally?"

Eunbi nodded as she began tuning her guitar. Chaeyeon felt guilty so she told Eunbi what she knew.

"Yujin told me about it."

"What?"

"The song"

"For real?"

"We talked earlier and she mentioned it."

"I was going to surprise you."

Eunbi looked down. Chaeyeon came closer to Eunbi and gently caressed her back.

"It's okay. I just know that you wrote a song, I haven't heard it yet. That's more than enough as a surprise."

"I can't believe Yujin spoiled my surprise."

"Don't get mad at her, she just accidentally said it."

Eunbi took the sheets of paper she placed on the table.

"I started writing this after our gig on your friend's birthday."

"I know."

Eunbi paused and looked at Chaeyeon.

"Yah! You knew everything already. I don't want to do this anymore."

Eunbi put her guitar down and returned the papers to the table. Chaeyeon hugged her from behind and placed her chin on Eunbi's shoulder.

"That's all I know", she uttered.

"Are you sure?"

"Yujin said you never wrote about your relationships."

"What else?"

"That's really it"

"It's my first time writing a song about the person I like."

Eunbi turned to Chaeyeon.

"You said I've stolen your heart, you actually have stolen mine that night."

Chaeyeon looked up then gave a soft peck on Eunbi's lips.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, 'Thank you for stealing my coffee that day'."

They both laughed. Eunbi showed Chaeyeon the song she wrote. Upon seeing the title, Chaeyeon smiled.

"Stolen"

While Chaeyeon held the lyrics on her hand, Eunbi picked up her guitar and began playing. After the last line, there was silence. Chaeyeon put the papers down, Eunbi placed her guitar on the side.

"Thank you for a beautiful song. I feel loved", Chaeyeon said teary eyed.

Eunbi caressed her girlfriend's face.

"I love you", she uttered.

"I love you too", Chaeyeon said as her tears began to flow.

Eunbi kissed her tears away.
