Kim Minjeong is a second year (sophomore) high school student with perfect grades, class president, potential valedictorian for the graduates from her year and the school's face/model for its ads. She has completely put everything aside other than studying, and only had a close group of friends even though the entire school had their eyes on her, and often got scolded by her friends for only focusing on classes with her beauty. She has never thought about love or dating; she had never had a crush on someone and never understood her friends for having them, who cried over rejections and who started dating. What was love, anyway? It was not good for anything and would turn its victims into fools. She was not sure if she could ever understand love or if she even wanted to understand what it was. Others could, but she would not engage in such futile human activities.

Her life had turned upside down after she realized she had fallen head over the heals with her friend, her senior Yoo Jimin, another model student just like her who would actually become the valedictorian for her year, whom she met at a student council, and who was undeniably the most beautiful girl Kim Minjeong had ever seen all her life. The Kim Minjeong who never thought she would fall in love was now desperate to confess her feelings to the older girl, stop being just friends and stop calling her just as unnie, and most importantly, she desperately wanted to stop being a little girl in the eyes of Yoo Jimin. The problem was that just when Kim Minjeong was about to confess to Yoo Jimin, she had confessed to Minjeong that she was already head over the heels for Uchinaga Aeri who was dating with the freshman Ning Yizhuo, and now, Kim Minjeong had no idea what to do.
