A special chapter - If Ella did not Emotionally travel back

The year 2036

"Code blue! Code blue!"

Nurses and Doctors are running toward Chaeyoung, who is in a coma for six months.

"Mom!" Ella shouted, getting ready to travel back after hearing all the rules of Travel back from Park's family.

"No, Ella, you can't travel back now; you are too emotional; you might mess this up," Alice said while hugging Ella so tight.

"Mom! Please don't leave me, Mom, please." Ella sob while opening her phone.

Ring ring ring

"Mommy! Mommy!" Ella shouted.

"What, baby? Why are you crying?"

"Why is it noisy there? Where are you? Code blue?" Jennie concernedly said.

"Mom is dying, Mommy," Ella sobbed. "We are at the hospital."

" What? Where are you? Send me the hospital name, and I'll go there," Jennie shouted, getting dressed and trying to get out fast as she can.

She just went back from New Zealand with Sana to process Ella's paper.

They went home because Jennie decided to make a legal deal with Chaeyoung to be with her daughter on schedule.

But she is welcomed by her daughter, cursing at her and crying because Chaeyoung is on 50/50.

Jennie can't hide the worry all over her face and in her every move, which made Sana wake up beside her. Ella sent the address, and she is about to go when Sana held Jennie's hands.

"Babe, where are you going?" Sana said, stretching her body, hugging Jennie tight.

"I need to go to the hospital; Chaeyoung is in 50/50," Jennie worriedly said that made Sana widen her eyes.

"Wait, I'll drive you," Sana said, getting dressed.

They both arrived at the hospital seeing Ella, Lisa, Jisoo, and Park's family crying.

Jennie's heart pounded hard, and she can't take another step and hear the words that she will listen to. She is not ready for this. She didn't expect things like this will welcome her home.

Ella looked at Jennie with all anger and emptiness.

"Ella," Jennie whispered.

Ella ran to her Mommy and wrapped her arm around Jennie.

" Mom's alive," Ella sobbed. "She came back to us."

"Is she awake?" Jennie asked.

"Not yet, Mommy"

"How long?"

"6 months," Alice coldly said.

Jennie looked on the floor, full of embarrassment in front of the family of the woman she left.

"Auntie Sana?" Ella said, looking at Sana.

"About that baby," Jennie said while scratching her nape.

"Can we talk, Jennie?" Alice said because she has a feeling that Sana and Jennie are together as she saw their hands intertwined when they entered the hospital. Jennie nodded, following Alice outside the hospital.

"Why are you here, Jennie?" Alice seriously said.

"Ella called me," Jennie said.

" Jennie, do you even know that you are the reason why she almost dies?"

"What did I do?"

" you are so stupid, J. You left my sister, made her life miserable, and that Divorce letter you sent did that to her," Alice shouted, trying not to hurt Jennie physically.

"She cheated on me, Alice," And Jennie looks on the floor.

"She did not. Halsey is already in jail for that because of what she did. Chaeyoung made sure that she will never be going to go out of that ing jail."

" You are so stupid to think that she cheated on you. She loves you so much. You are literally her life, and you took that away from her."

"I have evidence, Alice."

"Evidence? All those edited Photos? And you did not make sure the backstories? What the Jen!"

"Nevermind! It will not make a difference, and it's already done! You messed up, Jen. Face it"

Jennie froze into her place while receiving all the knife that is stabbing her heart. She can't process how stupid she is.

"Oh my god, I'm so stupid," Jennie sobbed. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

"I'm engaged while Chaeyoung is dying and suffering because of my stupidity. Oh my god, I'm really sorry."

"You are engaged? " Alice clenched her jaw and walked away out of anger. "I don't want to see your face here again.

It's been three days since Chaeyoung almost died, and Jennie figured out everything.

She felt betrayed by herself.

Jennie sent Sana home and stayed at the hospital with Ella and Jisoo to take care of Chaeyoung.

The Park Family forces Alice to go home and let Jennie stay with her Wife.

Jisoo and Ella are still not talking to Jennie, while the brunette is always spacing out. The brunette never left Chaeyoung's side and let go of her hands.

She feels hurt every time Jisoo is cleaning up Chaeyoung stitches and bruises.

And it doubles every time she looks at her daughter, trying to be strong while looking at all the wounds of her Mom.

"I'm sorry," Jennie whispered to her wife in a coma. "I love you, Chae, I never stop loving you," the brunette caressed her face. "I never fell out of love. I only said that out of emotion, I'm really sorry."

" I can't forgive myself knowing that I'm not by your side while you are fighting for your life."

"Chaeyoungie, Love, Hubby, Baby, Rosie, My Wife, the Mom of my daughter, My Life, Chipmunk, please, wake up for us. I'm here; I came back, please come back to me, too. I need you."

"Please, forgive me, love. I love you so much, Chae. I don't know what to do if you leave me this way. I will do everything, just please, wake up and come back to us."

"Ella, I need to go home. I will see you tonight," Jisoo said, tapping Ella's head and kissing her goodbye.

"Okay, Mommy chu, See you tonight." Jisoo left the room
