I stare at the computer screen, mouth agape

The boys sing their hearts out as their dummer, guitarist, and bass player play behind them

 

🎵 I don't like my mind right now 🎵 

🎵 I'm holding on why is everything so heavy 🎵 

 

Wow...

They're so cool!

 

"Minju turn down the music!" my mum yells from below

 

"Okay!" I yell back, brushing off the comment and focusing on the singers, they're really incredible...

My life as a seinor in middle school is really good

I can listen to whatever music I like

And I can watch as many cartoons and movies as I want

I hum to the music as I flip through the magazine, my class just ended and it's already break time, so many students have gone out for lunch

"Minju!"

"Minju! Hey Minju"

​​​​​​​ I drop my magazine as I bring my gaze towards whoever is calling me, I was way too into that magazine

​​​​​​​"Y-yes?" I ask, slighly startled

"Ugh we called you so many times" my classmate says, leaning forward and crossing her arms

 "Why didn't you answer us" her friend backs her up

"You freaking loser" they both say in union

They sigh before one of them waves a $10 note infront of Minjus face

"Hey, go get us some dumplings"

A crooked smile forms on my face before a sweat falls from my forehead

I take a step forward, waiting behind 2 girls as the music from before continues to play

I sway to the music as I repeat their orders, what was it?

"Beef dumplings"

"Kimchi dumplings"

​​​​​​​Ah right, beef dumplings for Jeongyeon, and Kimchi dumplings for Mina

I continuosly repeat their orders before finally reaching the cafeteria window

​​​​​​​"One Beef dumpling and one Kimchi dumpling please!"

The lady hands me both dumplings before waving me off

"Wow, thankyou!" I say as I walk off, gleaming at the freshness of the dumplings

Aside from a few inconveniences at school, i'm getting along very well

"aAAH!!" I say as my body slams into the ground, the dumplings fly up before finally splatting all over the ground 

"Oh sorry, you must have tripped on my long beautiful legs~" she says in a dreamy voice, face and eyes twinkling 

"I was just sitting here for a minute feeling lonely... sorry~" she says, holding her nape in embarrassment 

"Th-thats okay!" I say, completely hypnotised by her charms

"Oh you dropped this" she says bending down to pick up my MP3 player -

- "..wait, that music." her eyebrows furrow in concentration, and she shuts her eyes, focusing on the track

"Marilyn Manson?"
