The Tale of a Princess
Description
Cold and wet, tired and exhausted, she made her way along the path through the forest.
Destiny took her to the place she belonged, or rather the person she belonged to. And when she finally reached that person, darkness consumed her consciousness.
Foreword
The power surged through her veins. She was barely able to hold it any more.
"No! Stay away from me! Run from here Mino!" She shouted as her eyes slowly started turning into light. She could feel herself losing control.
"Irene! You can do this! Hold it in!" Mino shouted as he came closer to her. He whispered the mantras he had been learning forever to help his lover.
"Mino! Go away! I will kill you." Irene cried. Tears spilled out of her eyes at the thought of her love dying because of her mistake. "No, no, no." She whispered. She felt herself losing her consciousness slowly. She kept shaking her head, indicating her lover to not come any closer than he already is but it was all to vain as Mino held his hand on her back trying to seal the overflowing power inside her tiny body.
And then it exploded. The manai surged out of her body.
The last thing she saw was Mino's loving gaze on her before her vision went black.
Before we begin, let me tell y’all, this is for ‘The Realm of Imagination: Fantasy Writing Contest’. So thanks to the main author, DGNA_Forever for such a beautiful prompt. I hope I do justice for the prompt I chose, as in, I hope it meets their expectations.
Coming straight to the point, if you already know me then you would also know that I am super addicted to reading fanfictions, novels and anything that can be read except for my textbooks and newspapers [you might as well add K/C/J dramas and Animes, I am an addict]. So you might see many scenarios that are kinda inspired by other works. So, yeah, after spending some months of binge reading fanfics and all, you cannot blame me for getting inspired ya know~
