Shuhua glanced at her other phone on her desk but decided to ignore it as she kept on texting on her secondary phone; Travel back to Korea was exhausting so she just wanted to text her… friends and maybe go out later to a club, have a drink or two and-

Another ring.

She paused for a second and just spinned her chair to face the opposite direction as if the phone would disappear as soon as she did that and her best friend, Song Yuqi, who was watching the whole thing going on from the desk right in front of Shuhua's, raised her eyebrows. 

The phone stopped ringing and she heard the taiwanesse sigh in relief. 

"Finally-" She mumbled under her breath but Yuqi was still able to hear her; If there's one thing they for sure had in common was being unaware of their volume. 

The two of them have been friends ever since their first drama together, years ago; When Yuqi decided to try something else besides music as she was never the type of person to stick with one thing, and thankfully her best friend was a kind and patient sunbaenim… which only lasted until they were close enough with each other and nowadays Yuqi feels Shuhua is this close from selling her for ice cream, and the same applied for the chinese girl; But everyone knows it's a sincere and genuine friendship. 

Yuqi's phone then rang and she could hear Shuhua quickly spinning her chair around to face her, about to tell her to not pick up the call but it was too late and soon enough the sweet voice greeted her on the other side of the call.

"Song, Good Afternoon."

"Miyeon-Unnie, Hello!"

She saw how Shuhua dropped her phone on the desk and covered her face with her hands as she groaned against them, definitely she didn't want her to pick up this call in specific. 

Shuhua moved her fingers so she could take a peek at Yuqi on the other side of the office and saw as the girl was listening to whatever Miyeon had to say. 

"Shuhua?" She looked at the girl in front of her who looked back at her with wide eyes before she shook her arms indicating that she didn't want Miyeon to know she was there. "No… She's not here yet"
