"So, this is about her again?" Jungeun scowled at her girlfriend, growing tired of the repetitive arguments between them, "Why do you always have to bring her up when we fight?" She stared hard at the girl in front her, waiting for any response that would either make everything alright or not at all.

This wasn't even supposed to be like this. They are having their well-deserved vacation with their friends at the beach which was planned long ago. And then, they are suddenly fighting.

Because Haseul is jealous.

Haseul sighed, "I just wanted to spend time with you," She looked at the blonde, "But I can't do that because she's always clinging to you."

"Then, tell me."

"I tried! Alright?" Haseul breathed deeply, "I tried but you would just casually brush me off. Telling me to just stay with Vivi or Yeojin."

Jungeun frowned, "What's the problem with that?" She questions, "They are your friends and we all came here as a squad."

"You're my girlfriend, Jungeun! And I don't want to be with them because they are not you." Haseul is getting frustrated with all the fights happening with them.

"Oh no, your sweet words can't do anything now."

"What?"

Jungeun glared at the short haired, "You embarrassed me in front of our friends, Haseul."

Haseul then met the intense glare of the other, "Really? So, this is about your ego?" She mused, "God, and here I thought you care for me for once."

"I do, of course!" Jungeun brushed her hair, "But you're getting childish and I'm getting tired of your immaturity."

Haseul couldn't believe what she just heard. The same woman who chased her for years is now looking at her with those tired, empty eyes.

Is this the same girl who she loves?

The same girl she fell in love with?

The same one who looks at her like she's the most important thing in the world?

The one who treated her as if she’s everything?

"You are?" Haseul couldn't help but ask her voice breaking. She could feel the physical pain of the hurtful words that came out from Jungeun's mouth.

"Look! You're crying again! Damn it!" Jungeun snapped, "I'm tired from all of these!" Jungeun grabbed her necklace before throwing it somewhere in the shore.

"I think we should just end it here."

Haseul couldn't help but stare at the back of her Jungeun.  The way Jungeun continues to walk away.

Away from her.

Her Jungeun.

Then, she felt her tears streaming down. Then her chest tightens making it hard for her to breathe.

"Haseul!"

She heard someone calling but she doesn't have the strength to look up. And the next thing she felt was someone hugging her and few sweet words trying to calm her down. But she can't.

Not when the love of her life just walked away from her.

"Haseul, it's okay."

The crying lass sobbed before looking up to meet the worried eyes of her close friend, "Soo, she broke up with me."

Sooyoung nodded, "It's okay. It'll be okay, Haseul."

Haseul doesn’t know how she got inside of their suite— her suite. Right, her friends brought her back and the first she notice was the missing bag of her girlfrie— ex–girlfriend.

Are they exes now?

“Haseul, hey.” Haseul looked up from her phone to look at her friend, “We’re going to buy food at the nearby shop. Is there anything you want?”

Haseul shook her head before returning her gaze back to her phone. She was waiting for anything from Jungeun. Just anything. Even a blank message would do.

She heard her friend sighing before she felt the side of her bed dipping, “We’re going home tomorrow. Are you done packing your things?”

“Sooyoung, how is she?”

Sooyoung smiled before grabbing her hands, “I honestly don’t know, Seul. I didn’t saw her since this morning.” She squeezed the shorter’s hand.

“Do you think she’s really tired of me?” The way it sounded broke Sooyoung’s heart. It sounded so broken, scared, and vulnerable.

Sooyoung doesn’t know what to respond to that though. She doesn’t even know why the couple are suddenly fighting when they were just having their brunch. Everything was so sudden— Jungeun pulling Haseul out of the restaurant and the next thing she saw was Haseul crying on the shore.

So, she just hugged the crying lass, not really knowing how to answer. Sooyoung just hopes everything would be fine because she cannot see Haseul crying and getting hurt.

“I’m just scared of losing her, Soo.” Haseul sobbed against her shoulder, “I just want her to stay…until my last day.”

Sooyoung pulled away from the embrace, “Hey, you know you’re gonna be with us for a very very long time.” She frowned, “Everything will be okay, Haseul. You’re going to be okay.”

Haseul looked up, smiling sadly, “Sooyoung–ah,” She grabbed the taller’s hand, “We both know I won’t. Everything is too late now.”
