Description
An alternate reality post Quarantine. Society finds itself crippled as the economy is experiencing its worst downturn in the history of the nation. Crime rates have drastically increased and civilization screams anarchy as trust in the government no longer exists. Park Sooyoung, a detective for the Jeju Dongbu Police Department, has been working for just under a year for intelligence however as tensions begin to rise in Seoul, the government calls for as many resources to be directed to the capital city to prevent it from collapsing. Sooyoung finds herself assigned to work under a well decorated and grizzled veteran of the Seoul Police Department Bae Joohyun and her team of highly trained detectives. Joy must work out their differences with the team in order to help solve as many cases as they can before it's too late.
Foreword
Hello everyone and thank you for clicking on this story! I've had this sitting in my docs for a couple months now and wasn't sure if I was ever going to go through with posting it but I thought might as well just so the effort doesn't go to waste.
This is my first fic so please understand why it may seem a bit amateur-ish and horribly written. I've went back and tried to rewrite this opening a couple of times before forgetting about it for the past month and this is the very minimum that I was satisfied with.
I should have Part 1 out soon so don't worry and maybe after Part 2 we'll see if this story is worth continuing. I do have a general idea of what I want to happen in the next couple of parts so it shouldn't take long for me to get another part drafted, reviewed and released
This fic is just for fun and for me to get away from the stress of the real world and I hope the time you spent here will be at the very least somewhat enjoyable!
