"Chaeryeong-ah are you sure that you didn't just leave it at Ryujin's place?" her sister's voice emerged out of her earpods. "Unnie I called her earlier and she promised me that she looked for it. And I'm also sure that it was still on it when I left her place" Chaeryeong replied while she was busy searching the bushes with her flashlight. She had a hunch that it had probably fallen off when she was running to catch her bus. "Ok but don't stay too long searching its supposed to rain tonight" Chaeryeong bit her lower lip when she poked her finger on a thorn "Mmm I won't, see you later unnie" she put her finger in to stop the bleeding. Chaeryeong straightened her posture . She was already feeling the strain of crouching down for a longer period of time. Running her hands on her lower back she hoped that it would soothe her discomfort. Recalling the phone call that she earlier had her best friend's voice was still ringing in her head 

"Aah, Lee Chaeryeong-ah again? How does this always happen? And why is it always after you've come to my place.... tz ok but  why do you even bother looking for something so small it's basically impossible to find it. It could have fallen down  everywhere, besides just ask your sister to replace it she probably has the exact same one somewhere lying around". She was right when she said that it is almost impossible to find it, but she can't not look for it. Even if it is just a simple ornament that fell off of the bracelet that her sister has made for her. She also knows that her sister could replace it, but she was so touched when her sister surprised her with identical bracelets... It basically represented their Chaesis bond. Chaeryeong groaned at her situation. Somehow she always ends up losing things that hold a meaning to her. She was already considering if she was cursed with bad luck because she tends to lose when playing rock paper scissors too. Right after she had completed her thought she could feel the small cool droplets on the back of her hands. She furrowed her eyebrows and  looked up at the cloudy sky immediately she was met with more droplets falling on to her cheeks. "Maybe I really am cursed with bad luck" Chaeryeong muttered under her breath. She decided that she should cancel her search for today to keep herself from catching a cold. She calmly walked along the path leading to the bus station while she constantly glanced at the floor and bushes in hopes of seeing something shiny. A few meters before her bus station Chaeryeong almost fell because she suddenly twisted her body when she caught a glimpse of something that reflected the light of the cars passing by her side. The bushes had grown too thick for her to see what was underneath and she certainly didn't want to press the side of her face onto the sidewalk. Instead she carefully pat down the soft ground with her hands to detect the small ornament. She almost had half of her arm swallowed up by the greenery when she felt something soft and warm. At first she shyed away in fear of a rat but she was certain that a rat would not have a fur as soft. She slowly reached her hand back to carefully grab what she had found. Unknowingly closing her eyes when she reached her other hand inside to get it out of the bush. She was now holding it in front of her but still didn't dare to look at it. What if she really did pull out a fat rat and it was staring right back at her right now. Chaeryeong got goosebumps and immediately opened her eyes. 

Glossy dark orbs were sleepily gazing back at her. A pink nose and short whiskers. Folded ears poking out underneath a white hood. How bizarrely cute was the first thing that came to her mind. Luckily she had fished out a white kitten that was somehow stuck inside of a bunny costume. "Hey there, what are you doing outside" Chaeryeong spoke softly to the small creature in her hands. She watched the small ears turning towards her. " I'm pretty sure you don't belong onto the street. I don't think I've ever seen a stray cat in a costume" Chaeryeong chuckled softly. She carefully caresses the top of the kitten's head with her index finger and was immediately met with soft purrs. " Let's see do cats also have name tags like dogs" Charyeong tried to look for something indicating the kittens identity. She moved the costume a bit to reveal a bright pink band with the name "Hussey" engraved into it. She chuckled again at the thought of somebody naming a small white kitten Hussey. "Well Hussey would you like to come home with me tonight?" Chaeryeong spoke to the kitten who was nuzzling her nose onto her hand. She smiled contently at the small creature, at least she found something today. She scooped up the cat in her arms and slowly rose into a standing position while she kept an eye on Hussey. Chaeryeong got onto the next bus leading home. During their small journey she took the time and familiarised herself with the kitten. It seemed to be fairly young since she could lay down in just one of her hands. Her paws were as soft as those of a newborn puppy. Chaeryeong didn't have a lot of experience with cats since she only had adopted two dogs until now. She would have to call Ryujin again later on to ask her how to care for it properly. Still she had a basic knowledge of common animals which was why she was surprised that it did not shy away from her. Instead she was practically begging for her attention she seemed to especially love it when she scratched underneath her chin. Hussey would close her eyes and purr contently. Chaeryeong couldn't help but smile at the small creature in her lap that had curled up into a tiny furry ball and was sleeping softly .

"Unnie I'm home" Chaeryeong greeted softly. "Oh thank god you're home. I was about to head out and look fooooor....eh?" Chaeyeon tilted her head to the side when she saw a white ball in her sister's arms. "Unnie I found her in the bushes, isn't she cute?" Chaeryeong said smiling brightly while she showed her sister the baby cat in her arms. "Is it alive?" Chaeyeon replied poking it's small pink belly. She held her hand over in shock when the kitten's eyes opened to reveal big dark orbs that looked like they had stars in them. "Omo I actually thought this was a stuffed toy. Why is it in a costume?" Chaeyeon asked while she fumbled with the bunny ears. Chaeryeong took her shoes off and entered their shared apartment. "I don't know I found her like that. I think she belongs to someone since she has a name tag... and probably didn't put on a costume by herself. I'll try to find the owner tomorrow." Chaeryeong concluded "I hope Chaeri and Chaeso don't mind our new roommate" Chaeyeon chuckled, luckily both of them were already sleeping in her room. "Unnie what should I do first?" Chaeryeong asked her sister who was now playing with Hussey's soft paws. They were baby pink almost like cotton candy and felt as soft as a baby's bum. Chaeyeon snapped out of her little moment with the kitten "Uhm I think some food a bath and sleep will be enough for today." her sister said nodding her head for emphasize. "I'll look if we have some canned tuna left and you can go ahead and clean our new friend" Chaeryeong nodded in agreement and went inside the bathroom. She leaned her phone against the mirror and face timed Ryujin to ask for any tips for cleaning the little kitten, because as far as she knows cats aren't particularly fond of water. "Oh Chaeryeong-ah did you find your...." Chaeryeong was holding the kitten next to her face" aaai kiyooooooo Chaeryeong-ah where did you find it? " Ryujin asked beaming at the the kitten." I found her in one of the bushes next to the bus stop. Ryujin-ah should I clean her? " Ryujin got closer to the screen trying to see in what condition the kitten was in" Is that a bunny costume? " Ryujin asked laughing "Why, who would put you poor baby in a bunny costume. Ah kids these days have no conscience anymore. Hmmm the costume looks indeed a bit dirty, I think it would be enough to just take it off of her and then wipe her face paws and bum with a wet cloth. I don't think that she would be comfortable with a bath now" Ryujin replied softly "Oh and Chaeryeong you have to visit me tomorrow with this cute baby I want to hold her myself" Ryujin said shooting heart eyes at the kitten. Chaeryeong chuckled at her "Of course thank you Ryujin" she waved goodbye and ended the call. She reverted her attention back to the kitten who laid on her back and was playing with the ends of her hair. "Now little Hussey should we get this off of you?" Charyeong asked crouching down to be on an eye level with the kitten who by the way did not look pleased with her suggestion. "Come on Hussey let's take this off of you" Chaeryeong put the kitten on her vanity. She filled up the sink with warm water and submerged a small towel inside of it. She carefully tried to find the zipper or any buttons on the costume but she didn't found any. She furrowed her eyebrows "How did they get you in there Hussey? " The kitten perked up when it heard its name. It strutted towards Chaeryeongs hand and nuzzled its nose against it. She scratched behind her ears to calm her down. " Well I hope this stretches somehow or I'll have to cut it to get you out" She tried to make the hole where the kitten's head was poking out big enough to get her out of it but Hussey did not seem to like what Chaeryeong was about to do. She walked backwards until her back hit the mirror. "Come on Hussey please cooperate with me I need to get you cleaned up". The kitten tilted her head to the side as if it was contemplating what Chaeryeong had just said. "You can't sleep in my bed if you are this dirty" Chaeryeong said trying pick up the kitten, but before she could reach for her, Hussey walked towards the sink and plopped inside of it floating on her back. Chaeryeong couldn't believe her eyes. It looked like this cat just took a dip in a mini pool. "Hussey do you like water?" Chaeryeong asked scratching her chin. She closed her eyes and purred again. "Well I guess I could just clean you and your costume at the same time then" Chaeryeong shrugged and looked for the dog shampoo. It should be safe for kittens too,right? She took a small amount and began to massage it on Hussey's face and proceeded to clean her costume. She rinsed her thoroughly with warm water and put her down on a soft towel. Her dogs had gotten used to being blow dried, but she wouldn't want to scare the poor kitten. She tried to softly rub the kittens face with a towel to dry her off but again Hussey escaped her and walked around her vanity towards where she kept her hair tools. Chaeryeong cocked her head in amusement "Don't tell me that you know what a hair dryer looks like" the kitten looked up at her innocently. She sat down in front of the hair dryer and waited patiently for Chaeryeong to do something. The girl took out the hairdryer and pointed towards it "Are you sure you want this Hussey?" the kitten sat still not moving a milimeter. Chaeryeong chuckled at the bizarre kitten. She almost expected an actual answer. "You really aren't an ordinary cat aren't you?" Chaeryeong said smiling brightly. The kitten looked at her with soft eyes. It almost looked like she was smiling back at her. Chaeryeong shook her head and began to blow dry the kitten on the lowest setting. Surprisingly they were done after a few minutes and Hussey seemed to enjoy the little blow out session. Of course Chaeryeong showered her with scratches and soft touches to keep her calm. She took a look at the small kitten that had started to roll itself onto the towel. Chaeryeong was happy with the outcome.  Hussey's fur and her costume were as white as snow again. She scooped up the little bundle of joy and headed to the kitchen where her sister had prepared a small dish with tuna. She put Hussey in front of the bowl. The kitten hurriedly ate up every single bit making Chaeryeong laugh wholeheartedly "I'm sorry if I had known that you were this hungry I would have fed you before I cleaned you up" the kitten glanced at her shortly and then continued to eat the rest of her meal. Chaeryeong picked Hussey up after she was done and headed to her room. She put the kitten down on her bed and decided to change into her pajamas. After she was done getting ready for bed she snuggled underneath the covers. Hussey's little paws tapped along her duvet until she reached the girl that was studying her with curious eyes. The kitten cuddled into the crook of Chaeryeongs neck rolling itself up into a small ball. The girl smiled at the warmth and the soft vibrations coming from the small cat "Good night Hussey"
