“alam mo na ba saan ka mag-aaral at anong course kukunin mo sa college?” tanong ni Irene sa babaeng kasama niyang naglalakad sa park.

Sa totoo lang, hindi pa talaga alam ni Seul ang gusto niya kaya imbis na sagutin ang tanong ng girlfriend niya, tinanong din niya ito pabalik

“ikaw ba, Rene? Ano plano mo?”

“I’ll be taking Pharmacy as my pre-med course and then itutuloy ko ng medicine” agad niyang sagot na walang alinlangan.

“Pharmacy hmmmm. Pharmacy sounds good, you think I can handle it too?”

Irene gasped in surprise “are taking the same course as me? OMG Seul, magiging classmates parin tayo?! I’m so excited!”

And so, the two decided to enter the same university and enrolled to the same curriculum.

Nothing much changed when they entered college. Always together as usual but instead of going out for dates, they’d stay in Seulgi’s dorm and have study sessions. Just like today.

Irene closed the book she’s holding and sighed

“Is something bothering you?” tanong niya sa kasama na may halong pag-aalala

Seulgi felt bad for how she acted, hindi naman talaga siya ma-attitude. Wala lang talaga siya sa mood mag-aral

“Sorry I didn’t mean to yell, I’m just tired”

“okay, let’s have a short time-out.” Tumayo si Irene sa study table at kumuha ng tasa “you want some coffee?”

Nagtimpla siya ng kape para sa kanilang dalawa at nilapag sa harapan nila bago siya umupo ulit

“babe, pwede bang mahabang time-out? Tapos manood tayo ng movie or two perhaps?” pagpapacute na pakiusap ni Seulgi pero hindi effective

“no”

Seulgi groaned in surrender

“2 more chapters and if you cooperate maybe I’ll cuddle you to sleep”

Dahil tempting ang offer, napilitan si Seul na buklatin ulit ang librong nasa harapan niya at aralin ang mga natitirang topics

Irene smirked in victory.

“O bakit hindi ka kumakain?” napansin kasi ni Irene na halos hindi galawin ni Seul ang lunch na niluto niya. Mahilig magluto si Irene para sa kanilang dalawa kapag mahaba ang lunch break nila, kaya madalas sa apartment niya sila kumakain..

“Parang hanggang ngayon na-aamoy ko parin yung formali, tapos na-iimagine ko yung human brain na hinawakan natin sa anatomy & physiology kahapon. Babe, nasusuka ako. Umabsent nalang kaya ako mamaya?”

Irene giggled at her girlfriend’s cuteness.

“teka lang” tumayo siya at pumunta sa kwarto niya.

Pagbalik niya, hawak niya yung bottle ng perfume niya and she sprayed it all over Seulgi. Pagkatapos ay umupo siya sa lap ni Seul and gave her a quick kiss.

“Ayan. Ngayon, ako nalang maaamoy mo. nasusuka ka pa ba?”

“uhhhhm feeling ko, mga tatlong kiss pa mawawala na” Seulgi bargained which making Irene laugh

“you’re such a dork”

3 years later and they’re on their 4th year already.

“Baby, I think you need to go to the clinic” Irene observed her girlfriend through the screen
