It was 7 in the morning and I was just browsing through whatsoever on my phone, waiting for the professor to arrive. Suddenly, "You're pretty", my friend, Kim Chaewon said. I was taken aback by the random compliment, which I rarely (close to none) receives. "Hmm?" I hummed asking for her to say it again as I wasn't sure if I heard it right. "You're beautiful" Wow, cool. And everything changes right after.

Break Time. Messing with her as usual, talking about random things and a bit of review for the upcoming quiz. However, little does we both know, my eyes were glued on her the whole time. Admiring how her eyes form a cute crescent when she smiles, how soft her cheeks look like and how cute her nose is when she's focused. I want to squish that little cheeky and bop that little nose pls. I was surprised with my own thought. Weird. Chae almost noticed me staring at her but the professor saved me.. or nah?

"To your seats!!! Are you going to take the quiz like this!??", an old but still an intimidating man in his uniform said. A QUIZ!!??? WE'RE HAVING ONE!?? LIKE RIGHT NOW??? AT THIS MOMENT??? I sigh in dismay, I forgot about the quiz, the same quiz Chae was reviewing for just seconds ago. It's not like I need to review and study anywayy. I wish I can say that, right at this moment, but nah. I'm far from being one of the genuises in terms of academic. My face's the only genius part in me. The worksheets are here. I stare at it, not knowing and understanding a thing. The numbers look cool but wtf do they mean??? *Sigh* Maybe I sigh too loud? Chae tapped my shoulderㅡ she sits right behind me, "You good?" The school bell rung signalling the classes are over. I pack my bag and went outside, going home alone agai— "Let's go together!", Kim Chaewon suddenly popped out of nowhere carrying her mint colored bag. Cute. "Sure, it's lonely going alone anyways. But dont you have a personal driver who fetches you up?" I said while walking to the bus stop with little glances on Chae's magestic side profile. She simply answered with, "Yup! But he's off-duty today" Hmm.. In the middle of the weekday and he's off-duty. Weird. A hand brought me back to reality. Chae's hand is reaching for mine, I flinched but Chae didnt seem to notice. And seconds after, our hands are successfully intertwined. I feel my cheeks getting hot, and turning into pinkish no, a reddish shade. That was so random and sudden, but I'm not complaining. Chae swayed both our hands while humming to some unknown melody and throwing impromptu lyrics. She's enjoying the walk. But ofc, the sibling of 'great' always come after. "It's my bus!" I announced while hurriedly running to it, hands now on Chae's wrist dragging her along. "Sorry, I gotta go, looks like the bus wont wait any minute. Be safe while you wait for your own bus, kkay??"
