My Time at Portia

Description

Seulgi moves into a small town named Portia, where she must follow her father’s footsteps of being a builder. Seulgi hates anything to do with building, but she might just take this opportunity to get to know the world’s prettiest neighbor.

Foreword

It's been 15 years since Seulgi last heard from her father. Last thing she remembers anything about him was when she was 5 years old and her father told her that he had to go live his dream of being a builder.

Now, at age 22, she gets a letter in the mail from her father about inheritance of this so-called builder workshop in a town named Portia.

Seulgi wants nothing to do with this workshop or anything close to the occupation of a builder. Being a builder was the main reason her father had left her alone in the city. And now she must go follow his footsteps?

No, thank you!

Seulgi is happy where she is, working as a cashier in the department store where she deals with amazing customers and gets paid the bare minimum wage.

Okay fine!

Seulgi isn’t really living her best. But can you blame her? City expenses are off the roof where maximum efforts pay you minimum pay.

Sure, she has a very small apartment where roaches and mice roommates with her and her routine just consists of working, sleeping, and eating. Repeat.

This letter might be a game changer. Seulgi might be able to find a reason to be happy; a reason to feel alive and be alive.

Because everyone knows Seulgi is just going with the flow at this point.

With no ambitions and no dreams.

Though who could blame her, one needs to sleep well to dream well.

So, with a light heart, she takes the letter and leaves for town named Portia and maybe gets a chance to change her life around.
