Description
She's a college graduate studying criminology and psychology. He's a high school dropout working anonymously as a secret agent. What once used to be a sweet teen romance blossoming between them ended the moment he cut all connections with her. Now she's deemed as the prettiest girl in her school and he's deemed as the scariest guy in his intelligence agency. What happens if they are forced to meet each other once again but as neighbors?
Admist the roaming romance is a decade-long, unsolved serial murder case that has garnered attention from all over the world and has once again began to terrorize the lives of many Korean residents.
"Breaking news! Yesterday at around 11PM, the body of a dead woman has been found by the Nakdong riverside. Police have found no trace of trauma on the victim's body, but have discovered that her hands have been completely obliterated. Police have yet to find the missing hands. While police are still trying to find for more evidence and possible suspects, they believe that the murderer from the 2007 homicide case might have returned."
The corpses of unharmed mothers are being found alongside riverbanks, the only thing missing from them being their pale, lifeless hands.

Jungkook looked to the side and smiled to himself when he found Jinah napping silently on his shoulders. He took this time to appreciate the magical moment he was currently placed in. Here she was, looking like a peaceful angel. She was surreal to him, a gift he knew he did not deserve and would have to return soon enough. He knew that he was bad for her, but his selfish greed gripped onto a fading dream.
His bruised fingers clutched her soft hand as if it was some prized possession and carefully brought it to his face. He slowly pecked the top part of her hand and as he slowly breathed in the freesia scent of her fingers, he let out a small tear.
"I really and always will love you, Jinah," he whispered, "no matter what."
