Min Sooyoung and Yoonmi

Min Sooyoung and Yoonmi

The giggling from two little girls could be heard through his ears as he snored softly. It had been like this for some time ever since their daughters learned to get out of their rooms and invade their parents' bedroom. Of course Hoseok and Yoongi never tried to do anything in bed when the girls were in the house - they didn't want to have to give them the talk when they were so young. Or try to come up with a reason why "appa was on on top of umma."

Yoongi was the heavy sleeper who refused to get up when the smallest noise was heard. When it came to Hoseok, he loved his sleep and cherished it. He probably didn't think it was the most precious thing in the world like his husband thought. Hoseok rose like the sun if he got good sleep. The last time the couple struggled was when their youngest, Yoonmi, was born.

Hoseok opened his eyes with a small smile on his face. He was facing Yoongi's back. He sighed before turning to his right to see two little girls with their hands covering their mouths as they giggled. Hoseok simply stared at his daughters - taking in the features they got from Yoongi and he.

Sooyoung, their eldest, was only five while Yoonmi was three. Both of the little girls had matching dark brown hair that flowed down their necks. Sooyoung's face was more on the sharp facial features side like Hoseok while Yoonmi had Yoongi's roundish face. Sooyoung and Yoonmi shared Yoongi's sugar white complexion as well. Yoonmi also had Yoongi's tired eyes but Hoseok's heart shaped lips.

"What are you two monkeys doing up?" Hoseok questioned the girls. Sooyoung had been a quiet, calm child until Yoonmi was born. The two sisters were troublemakers, especially when it came to being around their parents.

Sooyoung was the one to reply, "We were going to wake you and Appa up!" Hoseok could hear that fake innocence in her tone. He couldn't get mad at his little stars.

Hoseok couldn't help but wonder how the two girls were going to do so. His eyes landed on the bottle of shaving cream in Yoonmi's hand. It was going to be messy, but Hoseok was grateful it wasn't whip cream - the sticky feeling of it after wasn't his favorite thing to feel.

Without waking up his husband, Hoseok got out of bed and removed the shaving cream bottle from Yoonmi's hand and left it on the bed. He grabbed their hands. There'd be no pranking Yoongi today.

"Let's go make breakfast, ne?" Hoseok suggested as he led them out of the bedroom and down the stairs to the kitchen.

Cooking was something that no one for the longest time would expect him to be good at. Everyone outside of their friend group believed that only Kim Seokjin could cook. They weren't entirely wrong - the only other one who came in second would be the one and only maknae Jeon Jungkook.

After Yoongi and he got married it only made sense that kids wouldn't be too far along. When it was discovered that Hoseok was pregnant, Jin made it his mission to teach either one of them how to cook. Jin would rather his little niece or nephew not starve to death. During Hoseok's pregnancy, Jin taught the couple a bit of how to cook. It was a big help when Dawon came to pitch a hand.

Thankfully babies could only eat soft food so Hoseok wasn't supposed to be making anything big until Sooyoung had gotten older. Hoseok could admit he was better at cooking now than he had ever been. He wasn't a pro chef like Jin but his family did get good meals.

Namjoon's and Jin's daughter, Nari (who was a year older than Sooyoung) was a big help for Yoongi and he. The couple allowed them to watch over her which gave them experience with an infant. They also taught them certain things about babies since they would have a bundle of joy in nine months. It educated Yoongi and he - Hoseok was happy that his husband was involved in all of this. Not all husbands cared like Namjoon and Yoongi did.

They were happy to have taken care of Nari and take notes on what Namjoon and Jin told them. It did help them out after Sooyoung was born.

"No turning on the stove, arasso?" Hoseok reassured the two girls who were known for being mischievous.

He opened the silverware drawer, the two girls approaching him. "Go ahead and place four spoons on each placemat." They were going with simple cereal this morning.

"Ne!" Sooyoung and Yoonmi hollered in unison as they each grabbed two spoons and ran to the table. Hoseok smiled adoringly at them before opening the cupboard to get bowls.

He turned around holding two bowls in each hand when he heard excited footsteps. He saw his daughters bouncing up and down with joy. Hoseok gave each girl two bowls and they headed back to the dining table.

"Everyone is up?" Hoseok grinned upon hearing his husband's groggily voice. At the corner of his eye he could see Yoongi standing there in the entrance of the dining room.

"APPA!" The two Min girls squealed in excitement as they abandoned the dining table and ran to their dad.

Yoongi chuckled as he ruffled the dark locks belonging to both of his daughters. "What are you two up to?"

"Helping Umma with breakfast!" Sooyoung answered as brightly as Hoseok did when he was joyous.

Yoongi headed into the dining area with his two daughters following him on his sides. Hoseok watched as his husband neared him and engulfed him in a back hug. Sooyoung and Yoonmi were giggling in the background at how compassionate their dad was to their mom.

"You know I caught them this morning trying to wake you up. It involved shaving cream." Hoseok gave his daughters a one over as their giggles filled the room.

Yoongi cocked one eyebrow as he observed the two little girls. With their innocent cherub faces, one wouldn't ever think they would pull something that chaotic and messy. Then again, they were Hoseok's and his kids - they could be chaotic themselves at times.

"What hellions we have on our hands," he said while covering his mouth with one palm. Yoongi held his chin high, "I thought my daughters loved their appa."

Hoseok witnessed the scene with pinched lips. Yoongi was obviously joking around with the girls. The fake hurt on his husband's face was priceless and sooner or later, Hoseok was going to burst into laughter. If only he could capture this playful side of Yoongi on his phone.

"We do love you, Appa!" Sooyoung chirped while Yoonmi nodded cutely in agreement.

Yoongi narrowed his eyes. "If you love appa, give me a ppoppo," he tapped on both of his cheeks.

The laugh lines of the corner of his eyes can be seen as Hoseok took in the sight. Sooyoung and Yoonmi headed to either side of Yoongi's cheek and planted a little peck on them. Yoongi chuckled and embraced his daughters, earning little giggles from them.

The only people Yoongi was ever affectionate around were his family and friends. Having known Yoongi for so long, some might think Yoongi didn't have a heart because of how he rarely displayed any emotion other than anger or exhaustion. When it came to family and friends was when the cat man had energy.

"See your daughters love you." Hoseok acknowledged as he grabbed the cereal box and milk carton.

In no time, each family member had their own bowl passing around the cereal box and milk. Sooyoung helped Yoonmi with hers so the younger wouldn't spill it.

Yoongi breathed. "Thank God it's a Saturday." The weekends were when he didn't work and the girls didn't have school either. He gazed at Hoseok ardently. "Any plans today?"

Hoseok needed a moment to think. He was still recovering from the loving look Yoongi was sending him - for being the reincarnation of a rock, his husband could be quite romantic. Hoseok became adored when seeing Yoongi's affectionate side.

"I think Jin hyung was going to take Nari shopping for some clothes." Hoseok remembered talking to Jin about the shopping trip yesterday.

Yoongi flashed his white teeth due to the funny thought in his head. "Probably an addition to her pink wardrobe that Jin gladly selected."

"Pink is a pretty color." Sooyoung declared. The five year old did prefer the colors purple and pink when it came to colors.

Yoonmi informed them. "I like yellow!"

"Both colors are nice." Hoseok claimed while his dimples became pronounced.

Yoongi questioned. "Do you girls want to go see your cousin Nari?"

"Ne!" Sooyoung and Yoonmi boomed as they bounced up and down on their chairs. Their faces were glowing and their eyes were twinkling.

Yoongi cracked a smile, his eyes becoming little crescents. He was in delight seeing Sooyoung and Yoonmi over the moon.

"I'm assuming Joon doesn't have the day off?" Yoongi commented half-heartedly. Namjoon's profession required a lot out of him.

Hoseok retorted. "Ani. Jin hyung says his days off are next week on Tuesday and Thursday." Jin of course wished his husband could stay, but he understood that Namjoon was needed at the hospital. Hoseok didn't know if he could imagine Yoongi with that schedule.

"We're going to see Nari unnie!" Yoonmi exulted. She raised her hands and Sooyoung clapped them in response.

Hoseok smiled. "Well this is a good start off to the morning isn't it, love?"

Yoongi nodded. "It is indeed." He grabbed Hoseok's hand and held it in his as Sooyoung and Yoonmi explained how much fun they were going to have with their cousin.

A/N:

What did you guys think of this one? This one I had a fun time writing since Sope has two little girls and I couldn't help but think of my lil sis and I for some reason XD

I didn't realize how much I liked the name Sooyoung until I started writing this, but I think it's a cute name. Yoonmi I thought was cute and sounded close to Yoongi so that's why I went with these two.

Btw, do you have any boy name suggestions for Namjin, Sope/Vhope or Jikook? I'd appreciate them since I could only come up with girl ones lol

Comments are loved and hopefully this might turn into a story or just a series of oneshots ❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊😊
