The Goblin's BrideHyukjae’s POV
I started bewildered at my mate’s expression when Kyuhyun said the man’s name, I raised a brow as I felt a bit curious who this man was,
“Hae?” I asked as the Goblin King stood rigid.
“Ah damn it, why did it have to be my cousin?” Donghae muttered, my eyes widened in realization.
“The Goblin claiming to be my bestfriend’s mate is your cousin?” I asked, “why is that bad?” I added, clearly seeing Donghae squirming.
“You can’t see him, Hyukjae. You can’t.” He just said, now I was curious. What the hell was Donghae hiding?
I felt anger, jealousy, insecurity as Donghae wore his pants. I suddenly felt too . Tears prickled my eyes as I picked up my uniform throwing it on, buttoning it clumsily. Suddenly it started raining, Donghae stared out the window. He concentrated even more. I just let him be, my sadness getting the best of me. He’s probably trying to stop the rain. I slipped on my slacks trying to avert my attention to anything,
“It can’t be…” I heard Donghae say, I looked at him, he was staring at me.
“What?” I snapped at him, the pain and sadness still present. His eyes widened,
“Did I do something wrong?” He suddenly asked, I was taken back by the question, how did he know?
“I-I… I just feel as if your hiding something from me, Hae. I don’t like it. You’re my mate, I should know what’s going on.” I finally said it, my heart really aching.
He was infront of me in a flash. His hand cupped my face, as suddenly tears just fell down. I couldn’t help it. I knew only too little about Donghae. I wanted to know more. I wanted to see his flaws and strengths.
