"Ya~! Oppa! We're already running late! Can't you move a little faster? You're slower than a girl!" 

Oppa, or Dongwoon oppa, and I are very close friends, more like siblings, eversince we were 4. We actually live in the same house. His family was the one who rented the third story of our house. Since then, his and my family established a very strong relationship. Everybody would even think we were relatives. 

Oppa and I are of the same age. I just got used calling him oppa because when we were 4, my mother thought he was older than me and made me call him oppa. That misunderstanding only got cleared by the time we were 10 so we decided to just go with it. 

"_____________, give him a break. It's just 6:30 in the morning. Your classes starts at 7:30. What's with the rush?" Min Ah unni asked. She was Oppa's older sister. 

"I still have to make my assignment in History but I left my book in my locker so I wasn't able to do it last night." I answered. 

"You should've just borrowed Dongwoon's. You're in the same class anyway, right?" 

"Well, that. He left his, too." 

"Just how old are the two of you that you keep forgetting such things?" Min Ah unni rhetorically asked. 

Before I could answer, I could already see Oppa running down the stairs. Upon seeing him, I ran towards the car so as not to waste time. 
........... 

We arrived in school after a 20-minute ride. Oppa and I waved goodbye to his father who was the one who drives us to school everyday and ran to our classroom. 

"Ya! Can't you run any faster?! Are you sure you're a boy?" I asked Oppa as I stopped running when I saw him far behind me. 

"Why the heck are you in a hurry? Huh? Wae, wae, wae?" he asked repeatedly but suddenly, he gave me that mischievous smile and stopped running. He started walking towards me and whispered, "Is it because you know that your brain is too dull for you to be able to finish the assignment on time?" 

"Mwo?!" 

Upon seeing my reaction, he ran ahead of me while laughing his heart out. 

You'll pay for that insult, Oppa. Just wait and see. I swore and continued running. 
............ 

"Aaaaah... Finally. I'm done," I said as I breathed out a sigh of relief as I finished the assignment just 5 minutes before the bell. 

"Tch. Just now? Your brain's really dull, isn't it? I finished it light years ago!" Oppa bragged. 

I really couldn't get even with him when it comes to insults such as brainpower. He was undeniably intelligent and was always one of the best, if not the best student of our class since we were in first grade. We're now in our last year in high school and yet nobody was able to outthrone him. 

"Keurae. Keep on insulting me. One day, you'll be on your knees, begging me for forgiveness," I threatened him. 

He pretended to shiver, "Eomma! Eomma! I'm scaaaared!" he said and laughed. 

The bell rang.

The first 2 subjects swooped by like the wind. I was intent on listening to our teachers about their final requirements that I didn't notice the time. It was time for our third period: History. I took my History book out proudly, knowing that I did my assignment. I roamed my eyes around the class room and it stopped with the sight of Oppa. He showed me a taunting smirk which irritated me and I just faced back to the white board. Upon seeing my reaction, I heard him laugh satisfactorily. Really, it's been 10 years since he had been pestering me with his pranks but until now, he still isn't sick of it. Then I asked myself, Will he even get sick of it? I sighed. Poor me. 

I was lost in my thoughts with my head on my desk until I heard some of my classmates laugh loudly. I lifted my head to see what was going on but I couldn't see why so I decided to just ask Kei, my seatmate. 

"Chogi. What makes them so happy?" I asked. 

"Oh. Haven't you heard what our president just said?" 

Would I be asking if I did?! But I didn't say that, of course. I just shook my head. 

She then answered me, "Our History teacher is absent today. She had a conference to attend to. I'm glad she's not here. I didn't make our assignment." She grinned. With that, she once again turned her back on me. 

She's what? After Oppa and I rushed here just to... Oh. Oppa. I cringed at the thought of him. I slowly looked towards him. I was at first relieved since he was busy talking with his friend but then he suddenly looked at me. If looks could kill, I'll be at the morgue now. 

"At least we were prepared," I said, smiling nervously. 

He still glared at me... and smirked. 

Oh crap. That was a bad sign. I have to prepare for another prank when I go home.

Time passed by so slow. I decided to go to the comfort room before our next teacher arrives. I thought really hard on how I should brace myself for Oppa's prank. But while I was walking, I saw Narsha unni with her friends visiting our school. She just graduated last year and she was now studying at a nearby university. My bulb lighted brightly. Yes, Narsha unni. I just found my ace. It's you who needs to brace yourself this time, Oppa. I smirked. 

"Unni!"

[A/N] I cannot guarantee a good storyline because of 2 reasons. First, because I just wrote this because of a very vivid dream. And second, because this was the very first fan fiction I tried writing my whole life. When I reread this again, I myself cringed with some shallow parts. But since it was undone, I'm now writing the continuation so I'll try my best to make up the shallowness of the first early chapters by the chapters I'll be writing now. So please look forward with my new story! :)
