guidelines
aestas is a closed roleplay, meaning that all members are not allowed to invite any outsiders into the server. ic and ooc drama, bullying, facechasing and selective replies will all not be tolerated.
one account is allowed per person. your username does not matter, but your nickname and profile picture on discord must both be of your fc. you are allowed to reserve for one other person aside from yourself.
aestas is strictly a summer camp au, although we understand how the roman mythology theme of the camp may confuse you. aestas is not a demigod au!
because aestas is an alternative universe roleplay, your faceclaims are NOT idols. however, plotting and maintaining literacy inside the server is not expected nor required. there will be channels where you will be given the opportunity to plot, but again, this is all optional. oc names will also not be used.
you will be provided with several channels to speak in, but please be mindful that there will be minors present in the roleplay. ageing up your faceclaims is not allowed. all channels must be kept pg-16, with no mentions of content or triggering topics. all and explicit plots must be kept in your own dms. failure to abide by this rule will result in a warning.
love wins! all orientations are welcome at camp but, with the exception of move-in couples, both parties must have been consistently active in the roleplay for 3 days minimum. notify an admin of your relationship via dms. what's your favorite summer activity?
tccing will last 2 days and are unlimited with a 2 day rest period in between. ccing will only be allowed thrice in total. we recommend you use as little faces as possible during your stay to avoid any potential confusions. dm an admin your request and please wait until they reply to go ahead with following through on your change.
hiatuses will last up to a maximum of 2 weeks and activity is required immediately after it has been completed. if an extension is required, dm an admin. failure to abide by this will result in unverification.
if there are any issues, suggestions or questions you have regarding the roleplay—feel free to message one of the admins individually, and we will help you out to the best of our ability. this includes any questions you may have as far as working discord.
how to join
subscribing to the aff is mandatory, but upvoting is optional!
all rules must be read thoroughly, then check the masterlist to see if your faceclaim is available. we will not be accepting anyone who has either passed, or expressed distaste in being used as a faceclaim.
