MOONBYUL'S POV

"I-I like you," I told her

She looked at me. I can see that she is stunned about what she just heard by the look on her face. Everyone around us is waiting for her answer impatiently

"Come on, Yongsun Eonnie!" someone shouted behind me, and I can hear of them squirming. I could still hear my heart pounding even with the crowd shouting. I can't believe I'm doing this. After six years of friendship, I finally earned some courage to ask my best friend. I looked at her. Then she finally spoke

"Byul-ah," she said quietly, I barely heard it. She looked at me again, her eyes were watery "I-Im sorry" she said and ran away
My heart just shattered. I couldn't hear anything from the background. I looked at the way she runs to and found no sign of her. Someone placed their arm around me my mind was full of what if's. My cousin sandeul drove me home and didn't bother talking at me.

When we go home, I went straight to my room and spent the rest of the day with my face on the pillow and of my tears.

The next day, I was forced by my grandma to go to school. When I got there, I was walking to the hallway with a very sad face thats, I was walking to my class when Yongsun was also walking towards me. I looked down as I pass her and quickly went inside the room. I pressed my back on the wall and fought the tears. Its good thing there was no one in class yet.

At Lunch, I spent my time inside the classroom keeping myself busy. I wanted to go to the canteen and hang around with my friends but because of yongsun and I have mutual friends both from my year and hers.

I sat on my chair and stared at the papers in front of me reminiscing the day yongsun and I first met. It was a sports day and we were on the same team. f
