jiwoo was on the verge of breaking down, yet again, from sooyoung's shameless flirting. her face was apple red and a goofy grin could never leave her face. she truly liked wednesdays the most.

she hurriedly ran back to their dorm and cleaned every corner of it, well, no, just the places where sooyoung might come — kitchen, living room, her room, but besides that and the hall to it that's it. jiwoo gave herself a pat on the shoulder for her hard work, ​

soon a knock echoed from the door, to which jiwoo ran to open, a bright spring-warm smile greeted her, despite the cold of the season, "hey,"

"hey," she reciprocated the same smile as she stepped aside to let the older in

sooyoung stepped inside almost immediately and hugged the other girl tight, engulfing the warmth that jiwoo had always radiated, she broke it before the smaller girl could even wrap her arms around her waist — for the reason that it may get too awkward,

nonetheless, sooyoung made her way to jiwoo's room effortlessly; dropped her jacket on the chair of jiwoo's study desk; and quickly fell on her face on jiwoo's one-woman bed. the little girl, compared to sooyoung by height, watched by her room's door as all these take place. adoration flashed all over small face.

"hm, now i kinda want to see some romcom" jiwoo admitted, placing her index on her chin

"of course you do," the senior giggled, "but before that, i kinda have one in store, i accidentally saw it while working on some stuff, it looked cool, thought i'll save it for this occasion," sooyoung brought out a drive, giving it to the girl

"what's it about?"

"well, it's not exactly comedy, the description said about something romance-y though," jiwoo hummed once again,

the first 10 minutes of the movie was,, confusing, for both of them. but as it progressed, the duo can't help but to feel slightly embarrased. certain scenes were just merely too much for them to handle, and its only 20 minutes into the film,

in a bolt, the taller girl quickly reached out to halt it just before it continued any further, "we can watch it some other time,"

"y-yeah, alright, no prob.." she endured a smile, avoiding any eye contact with the other because she might just blow

sooyoung attempted to apologize but before she could her best friend had already went off to a topic, clearly to steer away as far from even mentioning the previous event. so sooyoung took note not to, it somehow made her upset, but she didn't need those feels right now

she plucked the drive from jiwoo's laptop and gently pocketed it while listening to jiwoo

its really good!! it's a wlw film set in the early days of the south korea and japan(? cant remember which era it was thou..), it has quite the amount of intimidating scenes so if you watch it make sure to watch alone and with an open mind 😶
