"So why are we here again?" Seungwan asked as she sipped her Iced Caramel Macchiato, waiting for a response

Yeri in return shift a few times on her seat, seeming unsure whether to tell the news or not to Seungwan

"U-Uhm Y-you know..." Yeri stammered

Seungwan sighed

It can't be that bad right?

I meant all their life, Seungwan and Yeri always has been working hard despite the busy school work and no family are around them

Suddenly, Seungwan gasped

She jerk forward in an immediate manner and grabbed both Yeri shoulder and shaking her back and forth

"What have you done!!" She continue to shake the confused younger girl

"W-wha?" Yeri tilted her head after breaking away from the tight grip on both of her shoulder

"Jesus, how can you take care of it?!" Seungwan said frantically

"What are you on about?" Yeri raised her eyebrows

"The baby what else! God I can't believe you would do that" Seungwan whined and in return the younger girl broke out in a cackle and loud laugh, earning a few stares from the other customer around

Seungwan were confused, Yeri is pregnant right? She scanned the laughing woman features

"Damn, Wan. Can't believe you're thinking about that. That was a good laugh" Yeri giggled while covering with her palms

"What then?" Seungwan asked

"Well, I'm getting adopted!" Yeri cheered out happily only for Seungwan to spurt out her drink on the table in utter shock gaining a few disgusted stare from the table beside them

"W-what?! Why would someone adopt you? Aren't you quite old?" Seungwan said not minding to clean her messed up chin coated with the beverage as she think that she have a more urgent matter at hand

Yeri fake an annoyed expression before retrieving a tissue and dabbing it to wipe her chin

"Geez, you're so messy. Of course I can! You have to search for the right family you know" Yeri return to her seat and shrugged away

Seungwan sighed

"Hm, okay at least there's gonna be someone taking care of you when you're sick or something" Seungwan smiled gently. Even they are not related, both of them are practically sibling and support system by now

"Yes, that's why you're coming with me!" Yeri clapped happily while rummaging through her hand bag to retrieve something out before handing it over to Seungwan sight

"What? Where?" Seungwan asked

Yeri pushed a fancy silver invitation card towards Seungwan

"You know it's gonna be my birthday in a few days so my parent decided to celebrate it" Yeri mused happily, of course she would want Seungwan to be there. Since Seungwan always has been one of her closest friend ever and she's always taking care of her

Seungwan squinted her eyes towards the invitation card and open it up

She proceed to read it out loud seeing the expectant gaze of Yeri upon her

"We hereby invite you to the birthday of our daughter, Yeri" Seungwan paused as Yeri nodded happily, she knew that Yeri always wanted to be a part of a family as she is an affectionate person that dreamed to have a sister to share story and joy together

"Signed by Sunbi Son?" Seungwan asked her eyes wide opened

"Yes, I got adopted by that chef and famous company owner" Yeri explained, both hands holding Seungwan's palm on the table in hope she would come, she knew Seungwan were not exactly a fan of party and always avoid any kind of spotlight as she want to have a peaceful life

"B-but I don't have any suitable clothes...." Seungwan muttered as she recalled that her clothes at home mostly consist of, yellow hoodie, bunch of a basic looking shirt and school uniform only

"That's where I come in, we are gonna go shopping, like right now" Yeri stood up and dragged Seungwan by hand while holding a black card and run to start their shopping spree for the birthday ball in two days
