*Lisa’s POV* 

 

 

“See you had a lot of crooks trying to steal your heart. Never really had luck, couldn’t never figure out. How to love, how to love...” I hummed to the song blasting over the speakers. 

 

 

 

Pabalik na kami sa cabin nina Jisoo. In fact, andun na silang lahat. Napasarap lang yung pagchill namin ni Jennie sa beach.

 

 

“Jen. Gising na. Andito na tayo.” Tinry ko siya gisingin pero ayaw niya. Bumaba na ako and I opened the door for her. 

 

 

 

“Pwede pabuhat?” Request niya and I looked at her sternly as if reminding her about what we talked about earlier. She can’t keep confusing me like this. 

 

 

“What? Kaibigan mo ko. Friends carry each other all the time. Plus, my legs hurt.” 

 

 

Wala na din akong nagawa kundi sundin siya. Nakapiggy back ride siya at dumiretso kami sa sala. 

 

 

 

“Hala, anong nangyari kay Jennie?” Nag-aalalang tanong ni Chaeyoung while walking towards us. 

 

 

 

“Napagod.” sagot ko. 

 

 

 

“Saan?” Seulgi asked as she grinned. 

 

 

 

“Nag-surfing kami.”

 

 

 

“Unfair!!! Gusto ko din!!!!” Chaeyoung whined. “It was so much fun.” Jennie said while she got off my back. 

 

 

 

“Thanks Lis.” Sabi niya tapos she reached for my face and kissed my cheeks. 

 

 

 

I know I’m blushing right now. Bakit kailangan niya yun gawin sa harap ng mga kaibigan namin? She’s really confusing. 

 

 

Tinignan kong maiigi yung mga reaction and most of them brushed it off except Seulgi. She notices everything. Hay. 

 

 

 

We gathered around the sala dahil doon namin napagpasyahan maginuman habang nagkakaraoke. 

 

 

 

 

Jennie sat on the other side of the couch which was a relief for me. I checked my phone for the first time today at nakita kong most of the messages came from Tzuyu. 

 

 

 

Shet. Alam kong nanliligaw palang ako pero .. I kissed another girl. Kailangan ko bang sabihin ito kay Tzuyu.

 

 

Grabe. I’ve been courting her for a year pero when Jennie kissed me its like a lost all volition, na para bang everything else became a blur. It’s stupid I know. 

 

 

It’s Jennie Kim we’re talking about. She’s the hottest girl on campus. Alam yun ng lahat. Everyone has a crush on her. Something’s definitely wrong with you kung hindi mo siya crush. 

 

 

 

I received another text. This one is recent. Galing kay Jennie. 

 

 

 

“Ang layo mo -.-“

 

 

 

“And you’re worlds away.” 

 

 

 

“Smooth..”

 

 

 

“Ay bakit may pagngiti? Sinagot ka na ba ni Tzuyu?” tanong sakin ni Seulgi. Everyone was looking at me pati si Jennie. 

 

 

 

“Ah? Hindi pa din.” I shrugged. 

 

 

 

“Bilib din ako sayo eh, sobrang loyal mo kahit hindi kayo.” Jisoo added. 

 

 

 

“Hindi naman ako ganun kabait..” Pag-amin ko dahil bigla akong na-guilty. Never nilagyan ni Tzuyu ng label yung relasyon namin. Hindi ko alam kung borderline friendship o mutual understanding. 

 

 

 

“Ah so you have girls on the side?” Chanyeol asked, intrigued. 

 

 

 

“Bakit ba ako trip niyo!” Binalaan ko sila. 

 

 

 

I motioned them to continue tha karaoke session and thankfully they did. Madaling araw na at tumba na silang lahat sa sala. Since malakas yung tolerance ko, I can still stand. Dumiretso ako sa kusina para kumuha ng tubig. 

 

 

 

“Yeah. Okay. Alright. I- I love you too.” I heard her say. 

 

 

Jennie was talking with someone over the phone. Nung nakita niya ako she quickly ended the call.

“Tumawag si Juztin.”

“Lisa..” Jennie tried to reach for my hand but I moved away.

 

 

 

“So ganun nalang? Iiwasan mo ko habang buhay?” she hissed. 

 

 

 

“We talked about this already, Jennie.” I tried to calm her down dahil it seems like she was shaking.

 

 

 

“Yung napagusapan natin, we’ll forget about what happened. Hindi ko sinabing kalimutan mo din na magkaibigan tayo.” 

 

 

 

“Sana inisip mo muna yan bago mo ko hinalikan diba?!” I replied at tinatry ko talaga na hinaan yung boses ko pero this is too much. She’s being unfair. 

 

 

 

“I told you hindi ako nag-iisip nung ginawa ko yun..” 

 

 

 

“Clearly you’re weren’t thinking. You’re Jennie Kim. You get what you want. Imagine? We all went here although it’s a school day because we’re your friends, we care about you. Ayaw ka naming nakikitang masaktan. Pero we all know once we get back to Manila, one simple ty gesture form your of a boyfriend then you’ll come crawling back to him. I mean, that’s fine for me. Hindi naman ito yung first time na lumuwas tayo because you’re brokenhearted pero bakit kailangan mo pa ko idamay.”
