Darkness.

It's what Taehyung has been seeing for the past two years.

He loathed the idea of it at firstㅡ being used to see the different colors painting the earth and the ground he stood on.

He was used to seeing the world in color; used to seeing his friends' faces no matter how much he jokes that he's tired of seeing their ugly faces. 

He was used to seeing his husband's faceㅡ his lovely husband, Jeongguk, who never left him since the day he was rushed to the hospital because of an accident. 

He doesn't say it, but he misses seeing the warmth in Jeongguk's eyes whenever they have eye contact. 

Taehyung just misses everything. His sight, his old, normal self. His husband. 

But maybe, just maybe, Jeongguk doesn't feel the same way anymore. Taehyung is blind, yes, but he's not stupid. He knows that Jeongguk's eyes aren't focused on him anymore.

Taehyung pretends, though, because with or without sight, his eyes are always on Jeongguk.
