Jackson smiles brightly as he spots a figure at the café waiting patiently for him… He can’t help himself as he makes his way towards the other boy

“Actually I just get an offer for my modeling job, Mark…”Jackson says excitedly

Mark widens his eyes in surprise before he smiles happily,”That’s good then… I am happy for you…”

“Yes but the thing is I have to go overseas for the time being…”Jackson says softly

Mark blinks his eyes at the new piece of information before he stays silent

“Yien? It will only be for a while and I will come back soon than you think… We still can keep in touch because technology is good, I promise that I-”Jackson says

“How long?” Mark softly asks

Mark stands up right away as he makes his way outside but Jackson chases him and holds his hand to stop him from leaving

Mark is in his second year of high school when he thought that he and Jackson can make it this long distance work

Mark bites his lips at Jackson’s word before he made up his mind,”I want to break up…”

Jackson widens his eyes at Mark’s word,”What? Why?”

Jackson stays silent before widens his eyes as he remembers the date,”Mark ,I-“

“I know you have been busy but I am tired, Jackson, let’s end this…”

“This is not the first promise you break, Jiaer… I am sorry but please let’s end this…”

“I thought that you will understand this, Mark, I know I have been busy but this is-“

“I always understand you, Jiaer but now I am asking you to understand my wish to end this…”Mark pleads tiredly

Jackson stays silent as he finally takes notice how tired Mark’s voice is and he realizes there are so many promises he breaks with him

“If that what you want then I will let you go but may I ask you something?”

“Of course, Jackson…”Mark says

“Did you love someone else?”Jackson asks

“No,I don’t cheat on you or fall in love with anyone else… I love you Jackson but I am tired, if we are really meant to be we can continue our relationship if we meet again…”Mark softly says

“Okay, let’s break up… Goodbye,Yien and thank you for every memories…”Jackson says softly

“Goodbye, Gaga, I will you the best of luck…”Mark says before ending the phone call

Mark is in his third year of high school when he first has his heartbreak…

If you think that he is healing just like that then you are wrong… Mark wonders If the decision he makes is the right one, he is hurting right now and he attempted to call Jackson but he can’t help what he feels a months period before his break out, how his insecurity just getting on him and how distance he is with Jackson for the past year… This is meant to happen soon or later and he realizes it… He cries a lot but he also stars to move on and focusing on himself more than before…

He starts thinking about his own dream and finds his passion on being a designer… He starts focusing on his dream and get into the university he wants with majoring in design while taking minor in business management…

“Mark!”

Mark looks at the voice who called his name and smiles softly at the slightly younger boy

“Jaebum? What are you doing in here?”Mark asks

He and Jaebum not that close even though they have a same grade in high school but he knows him from Jinyoung because they basically a childhood friend…. They have been hang out a few times before but never just the two of us.

“Going to university like everybody else…”Jaebum says

Mark chuckles at that and smiles,”Of course, how stupid I am to asking you that…”

“We haven’t been hang out a lot don’t you think?”Jaebum asks

“You might be right even though we have a same grade we rarely talk with each other…”Mark says

“I guess we should starts hanging out together because it’s quite good to have a familiar face here…”Jaebum smiles

“I will like that then…”Mark smiles back

“Well then, I need to go into dean office, I will talk to you later then…”Jaebum says

Mark smiles as he waves goodbye to Jaebum…. They have been meeting a lot from there on, they will greet each other sometimes before going to their respective class

“You know, I have been thinking that you might stalk me now!”Mark raises his eyebrow to the handsome black hair boy who taking a seat in front of him

Jaebum chuckles,”Who won’t stalk you? You are quite pretty don’t you realize that?”

Mark blushes at the compliment

Jaebum laughs at Mark’s face,”You are really adorable, Mark…”

Mark pouts as he opens looks at his assignment to distract himself… The comfortable silence fell between them both before Jaebum clears his throat

“I know this is rude, but can I ask you something?

Mark raises his eyebrow questioningly,”Shoot!”

“About you and Jackson,I heard from Jinyoung that you used to go out with Jackson Wang but I heard that he-“

“We are over if you want to ask me about it… We break out when we are in final year of high school… But how do you know him?”Mark asks

Mark nods as he knows how friendly Jackson is and how many friend he has… He is friendly and talkative unlike him and that’s why he always wonders why Jackson asking him out at the first place, the insecurities he felt at end of their relationship starts to come-

They meet each other again soon at one of the same class they actually have… It was a must take class for Mark while for Jaebum it’s just for an extra credit… They never talk about what happen at the café but they start to hang out often and studying together even though they have a different major…

Mark notices many things about how similar he is with Jaebum, both of them value silence and the silence between them always comfortable and soothing… If they have been this close in high school Mark knows that he will be best friend with the said
