It was mid-December. Snow started to fall and snowflakes were falling just like how the dried leaves used to let themselves glide through the autumn breeze. People were walking briskly amidst the cold weather, each basked into the beauty of the first snowfall. This place had always been so beautiful. After we graduated, I started to love travelling anywhere and that love led me here, pursuing a career out of it.

I closed my eyes and started to hum along the beat of the mellow music. I was about to sing the chorus when I couldn’t feel my voice coming out. I figured that it must be frozen due to the midnight air.

     Six years ago…

            Things would’ve been so much better.

            The beat was lost. The rhythm vanished.

            I couldn’t feel anything.        

            But it’s the things that hurt the most that made our love so beautiful.

            Just like how others say, not all dreams come true.

            Living with a dream is a life worth living for, but without you by my side...
