“Let’s break up.”

Seulgi looks up from her sketch of Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke. The scene she is drawing has been one of her favorite moments in the movie Before Sunrise. The couple has been sitting on their couch in their flat for quite some time. It is one of their favorite pastimes during weekends. They would just sit in comfortable silence while doing whatever it is they desired.

“What?” It was so out of the blue, Seulgi thinks her boyfriend is just pranking her. She subtly looks for hidden cameras around them.

Seulgi has been dating Jimin for over two years now, with their second anniversary just around the corner. The wooing had been challenging for Jimin, but he had claimed it was worth every penny and effort he put in when Seulgi finally agreed to date him. He had had his eye on her ever since his first day in their workplace.

At first, he pursued her confidently, thinking that she’d easily fall into his crutches. Turned out she was a tough nut to crack, despite her soft, happy-go-lucky exterior. It was one of the traits that made him want to date her even more, each day he had been the one to fall into her crutches.  One day,  Jimin was waiting for his coffee to get filled, when someone suddenly swooped around him to lay a peck on his cheek.

"7 o' clock, my place. Tonight," she had winked at him (well not really, because both her eyes just blinked at the same time), and Jimin had not registered anything that was happening to him in that moment. It was when he sat back in his work spot, that he finally confirmed he was not daydreaming. He just got a date with Seulgi. Seulgi.

He was still in a state of euphoria when he went back to his apartment. His friend Taehyung had nearly fallen onto his knees while his heart sang of freedom when Jimin informed him of the great news; it meant he was not going to hear anymore whiny complaints from his roommate when he was still pursuing Seulgi. 

So, if you wonder, whatever happened to the supposedly lovesick boyfriend?
