Foreword

Febuary 202X

"Yumi! over here!"

Turning her head towards the voice of her mother, she smiles as she pose for the camera. Jung Yumi was finally a high school graduate, the ceremony has ended and all of her batch mates were busy taking their last photos as a high schooler. She was now twenty years old. A full adult, no more legal guardians needed. She could make her own decisions, vote for elections, drink soju and most of all get a boyfriend.

It wasn't unnatural or anything to get a boyfriend during your teens, its just that she found teenage boys a bit too 'immature' for her liking. When university starts on March, a month from now, she'll be busy going on meetings and blind dates, which is the perks of being a university student.

After hearing her mother's camera clicking for like a hundred times, she covers the camera lens with her hands. "Umma, you need to stop. I think I'll get blind from all the flashes." She whines to her mother. "and I haven't eaten anything besides an apple today. Can we go eat?"

Her mother squishes her cheeks together, "oh you baby. I can't believe you're twenty now." Her mother then wraps her arms around her, giving her a heart whelming hug. "time flies so fast."

"Umma, don't cry. I'll always be your little girl.. just physically must bigger" Yumi joked as she hugged her mother back. "By the way umma, where's appa and Jisung?" she asks while scanning her eyes around the area.

"Ah those kids. I have no idea where they ran off to." Mother playfully rolls her eyes. "We better fetch them before they start causing some trouble then." She jokes while linking her arms with her Mother.
