It's was during the 1500's when the silent war between Ares and the gods broke them apart in Olympus. Aresㅡ as arrogant as he isㅡ played the humans and started a war; Zeus was beyond mad.


It evoked him to fight with Ares, with the other olympians on his side. Ares himself built an army and soon, the great olympian war bursted outㅡ killing thousands of lives and caging Ares away from Olympus.


It took them Poseidon's trident, Apollo's arrows and Hades' sword before they finally put him in place. If Zeus helped them and used his lightning then a huge amount of time would be spared.


But he couldn't raise his lightning to his own son, so he merely watched as Ares was stuck down beyond land, where Hades made sure he wouldn't be getting away from.


It stayed like that for thousands of years.


The gods would take turns in visiting Aresㅡ since they still consider him as familyㅡ except Zeus. Hera would go first, asking how he's doing in Hades' care. Poseidon would then give him a lot of seafoods (to which he often ignores). Apollo would lul him to sleep using his lyre, Athena made him some crafts for him to be able to use, Artemis would be casually looking at his brother without much doing anything.


And lastly would be Aphrodite ; oh poor weak Aphrodite.


She was weak, especially with his own brother. She loved him, more than her siblings did to him. She loved him more than a brother, a secret she would never dare say.
