Foreword
This work of fiction depicts scenes of protests and riots inspired from different protests in the news recently (mainly Hong Kong, Minneapolis, Chile and my own experience in Montreal's most recent protest). These scenes are purely fictive and all resemblances with real life events are fictional. Due to the current circumstances, I must mention the presence of police brutality in this story. Please read with care.
I purposely ommitted the explicit location of the protests taking place in the story to avoid taking a political position in any protest I may not know enough about. However, I take this opportunity of completing and posting my one-shot in such a critical time to remind my readers of the negative effects of police brutality on the Black community all around the world (although none of my main characters are black since it is a fanfiction about GOT7). I invite you to educate yourself on white priviledge and systematic racism in order to better educate others on the devasating consequences of such a system.
