MINI CONTEST #4 (CLOSED)

Mini Writing Contests!

Created to play in tandem with my other ongoing contests, here is the fourth mini-contest to be held. The rules are as follows.

  1. Subscribe to enter

  2. Use any group you want to

  3. Use a new story or an old story

  4. Fit the THEME of the mini-contest

  5. Story no longer than 5 chapters

  6. Finish the story by the deadline

  7. The two contests will be judged together

  8. No plagiarizing

  9. No bashing

THEME: Halloween

Halloween is just aroound the corner and I am so excited (fall is my favorite time of year!). For this mini contest, I challenge you to submit stories that feature either Halloween or something very explicitly fall/autumn themed. This leaves a lot of room to play with, especially since Halloween theme can be interpreted as cute trick or treating, creepy thriller/horror, or really, anything... and fall/autumn is a pretty broad prompt too. So there is very little excuse to not submit something you've already got written for this!

Deadline: October 26th, 2020

Prize: 1000 karma to the winning story, 500 to the runner up, 250 to third place.

Notes: I will be adding the entries from my two contests together to judge for the mini-contest, and will update the entries list on both contests to include every entry received. Only three entries will win prizes, and that does not mean three from each contest - it's three, period. Also, I am a very busy person so allow time for me to judge. You may use any characters but if you're writing a new story, I would love if you'd keep my preferences in mind - you can find those preferences on either of the contests. And most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!
