A week later

Luhan decided to stay in the kingdom for some time because the risk of getting caught is going higher, especially when he had a talk with Aeri last week. 

But now, he thinks it's good to get out again. He thinks that the timing is great because he didn't use the portal for a whole week and while spending most of his time in the room, he noticed that Baekhyun didn't check or passed by even once.

Luhan thinks it's better to leave the kingdom but not everyday, he's sure that his parents suspects something weird about him, just like Aeri

He got up from the bed and closed the book he was reading. It's the book about magic; as usual

Luhan went to open his door but before he even get to hold on the doorknob, someone barged in. Thanks to his luck, the door didn't hit him 

"Hello boomer!" Yixing greeted with a smile, but immediately turned into a frown when he saw Luhan standing in front of him

"Thanks to your luck I didn't got hit or else you're dead" He rolled his eyes and sat on the edge of his bed, followed by Yixing

"Is it my fault that you're standing there?" Yixing defended

"Is it right to barge into someone's room?" Luhan raised his brows

"Well-, I mean....You're my best friend" 

"That isn't acceptable"

"Yeah whatever" Yixing shrugged

"Want to go out?" Yixing asked after some silence

"Where to?"

Yixing didn't answer, he just look at his best friend with a smirk on his face. Luhan clearly understood it because it's a normal thing between them as a best friends

They look like a creep when they do that

"Let's go" 

Both of them got up and went outside, the hall seems to be cleared because there's no event and people are busy outside

While walking, Luhan pulled Yixing close and whispered "Be more careful" He warned, remembering everything Aeri had said

"Why?"

"Don't be stupid!"

While more talks followed, both of them are now in front of the portal

"You go first" Luhan insisted

"I don't think so, you go first" Yixing smiled

"No, you"

"You go" 

"I'll go" A  voice spoke from behind and before they knew it, they're being dragged towards an abandoned room near the main hall.

"What are you two doing?!" Luhan knew it was a girl because of how the voice sounds, but Yixing? he doesn't pay attention that much 

The room is dark mainly because it is abandoned so Luhan used his magic and made a light from his hand. The light is like a torch, but it will do.

"Oh, hey Aeri" Yixing greeted

"I'm not here to chit-chat" She rolled her eyes

"Luhan, your parents are starting to suspect something from you. I heard them talking about you earlier" She started

"What?!"

"King Bae- Well, that's awkward" She paused "Baekhyun-"

"You're disrespecting my appa" Luhan interrupted

"Now is not the time for that! That's his name so that's who he is!" 

"As I was saying, Baekhyun told Chanyeol what he's been witnessing in your room, to be specific, how you keep on disappearing without saying a word to them" 

"No"

"Yes, and Chanyeol said you might be doing something bad, or illegal, or something that a prince shouldn't-- you get my point right?" She awkwardly smiled

"Well that's dangerous" Yixing chimed in

"I just wanted to say that so I'm gonna leave now. Luhan, please don't let anyone see you near the portal, ever" She reminded before leaving the two of them in the room

"What now?" Yixing asked

"What do you mean? Let's go now!" Luhan grabbed Yixing's arms but the other didn't move

"Why?"

"Aren't you scared?" Yixing asked

"Kinda?" He's not really scared, he's just worried that he might not see Sehun again but punishing himself isn't a threat to him

"Me too, so do we keep going outside?" Yixing asked again

"I mean, I will keep going, but you can stay if you don't want to" Luhan smiled reassuringly

Yixing shook his head "I'll go" 

"Great" Luhan smiled and quickly got out of the room to go to the portal, Yixing following behind

"I think I should go first, us going together won't do better" Luhan suggested and Yixing nodded

"Alright, see you there" Luhan jumped on the portal and closed his eyes, the first time he went through it, he had his eyes opened and it made him dizzy

Seconds later, Luhan managed to have a safe landing. His first time was the worst, from getting dizzy to being thrown out of the portal. 

He crouched down and waited for Yixing, but it took him some time so Luhan stood right in front of it

Minutes later, Yixing's shout is heard and he landed on Luhan

"Get off!" Luhan pushed him away harshly 

"What took you so long?!" Luhan shouted once they got up, removing the dust from their clothes

"King Chanyeol bumped into me, Luhan!" 

"Ouch that must've hurt" 

"Not that bump! He asked me where I'm going!"

"And what did you say?"

"Visiting my favorite flower from another world" 

Luhan sighed

"You're stupid but that's a better lie than most of your lies" 

"Is that a compliment?"

"I don't know"

"Okay"

"Idiot. Let's go" He looked around before running with Yixing behind

"Wait, Luhan!" Yixing breathed once they're halfway near

"What?"

"Can't-, you use your- magic? I'm tired" Yixing whined

"You could've told earlier" Luhan made them float and moved them towards the window

They landed on the window with a soft sound that only they can hear. Sehun is asleep on the bed, his bag is on the floor and notebooks are scattered 

"Oh look, he's asleep" Yixing pointed

"I have eyes you know?"

"Let's go in!" Yixing jumped from the window before Luhan could even reply

"Yixing!" Luhan called

"Yixing!" He called again, but Yixing is now sitting on a book placed on Sehun's bed. 

"I'm gonna get killed, sorry appa" He whispered before jumping and going to Yixing

Luhan made himself float to reach the bed, he doesn't know how Yixing could climb that fast but who cares. 

Luhan slowly approach Yixing and pulled his hair lightly "If you don't want to die then let's just stay on the window"

Sehun moved and they stayed quiet

"No"

"Yixing" Luhan seriously called

"Can't we wait for him to be awake?"

"You know it's forbidden to let people see us!" Luhan reminded his stubborn best friend

"I'll stay"

"Yixing please"

They didn't notice the movements Sehun did because of their arguing, and for sure, they didn't notice him open his eyes

Sehun sat up with wide eyes, the dwarves stayed still when they felt the movement and slowly look up to see a scared boy

"Oh god" Yixing mumbled

The dwarves finally heard a very loud screaming for the first time in their lives
