"Luhan, they're scary!" Yixing dramatically said

Luhan chuckled at his best friend as he reads a book about magic

"Yix, humans aren't that scary" Luhan replied and flipped a page of the book

"Aren't that scary?! Are you kidding me? There's a guy out there who almost stepped on me when I was ordered to go out!" Yixing shouted

"You think they can see you?" Luhan asked and Yixing didn't reply

"Right, they don't, so it's us who needs to adjust" Luhan added and sat up

"But still tho, they can kill us in just a second" 

"I know that, that's why we're not allowed to go out of the kingdom" 

Luhan looked at Yixing when he realized that his best friend stayed quiet

"What?" Luhan raised his eyebrow at Yixing

"But you still disobey that rule" Yixing smiled teasingly at him

"So? I'm the prince here, I can do whatever I want" Luhan went back to reading, he's at page 23 out of 500 and he's sure he can finish this in one go but his best friend is so talkative and won't shut up for a minute, he can't concentrate

"No, it's because of the guy" Yixing pointed out, causing Luhan to look back at him

"It's not" 

"Keep denying until you die" Yixing rolled his eyes 

Luhan bit his lower lip and put the book down. That guy from outside their kingdom is really beautiful and he disobey the rules just to see him even just for a second. Being a prince didn't stop him to go out and take a risk.

"Hey! Are you listening?" Yixing snapped his fingers in front of Luhan

"No?" 

"Of course, too busy thinking about that ugly giant" Yixing teased

"Ugly? Have you even seen him before?" 

"No, but-"

"That's right, so shut up"

There was a knock on Luhan's door before Yixing can reply

"Come in" 

A girl with a curly hair and white dress entered and smiled at the two of them

"My prince, your parents are asking for your presence" She informed Luhan

"Oh, I guess I'll see you later then" He turned to Yixing and stood up

"Where are they?" He asked her

"At the throne" She bowed at him and followed

Everytime his parents ask for his presence, he always thinks if they found out about the things he does almost everyday just to look at a human

"Your majesty" She said and both of them bowed when they reached the throne

"Thank you, Aeri" King Baekhyun smiled and dismissed her

"Luhan" King Chanyeol now had Luhan's attention

"Yes, father?" 

"Where have you been this past few nights?" King Chanyeol asked 

'I guess this is it then, they already knew' Luhan thought

"I've been going at Yixing's house, father" Luhan half lied. It is true that he's at Yixing's most of the time, but other than that, it should be kept as a secret

"Is that all?" Chanyeol asked again

Luhan taught himself to stay calm especially when lying so that he can think well and wouldn't look so obvious. 

"Yes"

Chanyeol looked at him with a strong gaze as if he's analyzing his son

"You may go now, sweetie" Baekhyun smiled at him

Luhan ran to his room and breathed heavily, he put is hand on his chest and sat on his bed

It's always like this when he's been through an intense lying, all the calm persona he showed will turn around when he's alone

He looked around and saw no sign of Yixing, maybe his best friend already left the building

Luhan decided to run to his best friend's house because he really need someone to talk to

'Running is slow and tiring, I should just call my pet' Luhan decided and whistled loudly, seconds after, a raven bird landed in front of him and he sat on it's back

"Go now, my pet" Luhan whispered calmly at the bird

The bird knows where Luhan is going without him dropping any words, magic just works really well in their world

After a few minutes of flying, Luhan reached Yixing's house

He jumped from the bird and walked at the door

Luhan knocked loudly and the door was immediately opened by no other than his best friend

"Oh, hey" Yixing greeted

"I think my parents found out" Luhan whispered as he look around to see if anyone is nearby

"What?!" 

Yixing motioned Luhan to come in so they could talk privately

"What the hell are you gonna do?" Yixing asked and they sat on a green wooden chairs

"I don't know, I want to be a better prince for the kingdom but I want to leave the place at the same time" Luhan said with a frown

"You're dead"

"I know"

"Kordarin needs you"

"Yixing, please" 

Yixing looked at Luhan with a confused face

"You know how much I hate our kingdom name, don't mention it"

Yixing rolled his eyes at his best friend

"Now is not the time to whine, okay? You've got major problem and you still think about the kingdom name?"

"Just this, I'm not gonna stop going out b-"

"What?! Luhan, please stop now, it's gonna get worse if you don't"

"I know, I'll be more careful, I just need you to do me a favor" 

Yixing looked away and thinks

"Hmm, alright what is it?"

Luhan smiled at him 

"I just need you to sleep on my room every night"

Yixing's eyes widened and he stood up

"What?! That even more risky,what if they call for your presence? What if they needed you to do something? I'm gonna die Luhan!" Yixing pulled his hair as he speaks

Luhan chuckled at him

"They doesn't bother me at night, no one is allowed to, not even my parents" 

"Yixing, please?" Luhan added

"Alright" Yixing sighs, Luhan is his best friend and saying no to him makes him uncomfortable

"Thanks" 

"No problem, but if I ever got in trouble because of this-"

"You won't, trust me Yixing, I got you" Luhan smiled and pat his best friend's back before leaving his place

Guess I can still see him every night 

Luhan had a small smile on his face at the thought, maybe he can talk to him soon?
