Sowon already knows that there is some mistake when she saw a letter in her locker as for 17 years of her life never once Sowon found anyone interests in her. Not even once expect if her family members count. However she still wants to believe deep down inside that someone probably interests in her even if it was just a little tiny bit that’s why she found herself right here at her school music room waiting for the sender, but of course, her first feeling never betrayed her.

“I’m sorry, but I think there’s some mistake.” A pink hair girl said as she looked at Sowon.

“You mean this letter isn’t for me?” Sowon asked as she raised the letter on her right hand and in just a mere second her face change color into scarlet red as she quickly grabs the letter from Sowon’s hand and put it hastily in her skirt pocket.

Sowon raised her eyebrows in amusement.

“T-This is- I mean, it-it’s not for you! I-I’m not in love with you or even interested in you!” The girl said almost shouting and Sowon can feel her heart sting. Sure she already had a feeling that there’s some mistake but hearing it bluntly like that still hurt.

The girl probably realizes how rude the words that hurt Sowon or probably saw how Sowon’s face change because she quickly and added in panic, “I-I didn’t mean that. I just-“ she sighed before she runs her fingers through her pinkish hair and her dark eyes locked into Sowon’s, “I’m sorry, that’s pretty rude of me, Umji will scold me if she heard what I just said.” She said with a pouted, “Uhm… look I didn’t mean you’re not interesting or attractive, because believes me you are.” Sowon blushed, “It just well…” the girl scratched her cheek.

“You’re not interested in me.”

The girl looked away.

Sowon sighed, “It’s okay I understand.” Sowon then smiled towards the girl, “Thank you for telling me all of that though.”

“Uhm… you’re welcome I guess?”

“Oh well, I will go right now,” Sowon said with a small smile which the girl return with her own nervous smiled before she walked towards the door. However before she could open the door, Sowon stop herself and instead she turned around towards the pink hair girl – completely startling the younger girl, “Hey, can I asked you something?” Sowon asked.

The girl looked at Sowon with eyes full of confusion but still nodded her head slightly.

“If it’s not me then for who?”

“What?”

“The love letter, I mean.”

The girl blushed again, “I-It’s not your business!”

Sowon raised her eyebrows, “Well judging that I’m the one who got the letter inside my locker and wasting my time to come here, I think it’s pretty much already my business.”

“Wh-What?”

Sowon shrugged, “So?”

Sowon knows that it was definitely not her business but the curious side in Sowon just can’t stand still she wants to know just who is the girl that supposed to get the letter from the younger girl.

The younger girl gave Sowon a glared which the older girl return with just a simple stared, a stared that also means that the older girl won’t back away until she got her answer and after a few minutes they both staring at each other the girl is the first one who let out a sighed and break the silence between them.

“It’s for the person whose locker is just right beside yours I guess.”

Sowon raised her eyebrows, well that’s not the information Sowon wanted to as she already pretty much guess that.

“Then is it number eight or ten?”

“Eight.” The younger girl answered as she looked away from Sowon.

At the girl's answers, Sowon’s eyes widened as the realization hits her, “SinB?!” Sowon unconsciously shouted making the girl blushed even harder.

“D-Don’t shouted her name like that! What if someone hears you?!”

“I doubt anyone can hear us,” Sowon said after her shock at the revelation left her. “But seriously, you like SinB? As in Hwang SinB?”

“What’s wrong with that?” The girl answered defensively as she folded her arms on her chest and looked at Sowon skeptically.

Sowon shook her head, still couldn’t believe that the girl like her childhood friend slashes her best friend. Sure SinB is beautiful with her long raven hair and not to mention she has an almost perfect body and curves which she got from all the dancing activities that she does that other girls are dying for (including Sowon, not that she will ever admit that though) but still because Sowon has been spending almost all of her life with SinB she couldn’t help but cringe at that.

“Nothing it just…” Sowon shook her head once again. “Let me help you.”

The girl blinked in surprise, “What?”

“Let me help you,” Sowon repeated once again.

“I don’t need your help.” The girl answered with a frown.

“Oh trust me you need it.”

The girl raised her eyebrows towards Sowon as if changeling the latter, “And why did you think I need your help?”

Sowon scoffed, “Because you are someone who stupid enough to put your love letter into another person locker instead of the one who suppose to get.”

The girl blushed, “Hey!!!”

“And besides, SinB is my best friend. She is my best friend ever since she didn’t know how to talk, and that’s mean that I know everything about SinB. So who else is much a better choice to help you get SinB’s heart aside from me?” Sowon continued, ignoring the other girl's outburst as she looked at the girl.

The girl opened but no words come out, instead, she let out a sighed and looked as if she is in deep thinking, her eyes darted through the ground as her finger twirling her hair. After a few more silence and Sowon thought that what she just said was a really bad idea because well, one that is not her business and two why in the world did she suddenly want to help this stranger to be her best friend lover?

Sure the girl in front of her was not ugly, in fact, Sowon dare to say that she is pretty attracting with her pink dyed hair that reached her shoulder, her beautiful dark eyes that made her looks innocent, her plump lips not to mention her milky white skin which Sowon bet must be soft and the cute looked the girl had when she is embarrassed and shy. There’s no doubt that the girl really is attractive.

But still, why does Sowon want to help the girl so much?

“Why?” the sudden question from the scarlet hair girl startled Sowon.

“Huh?”

“I asked you why you want to help me in the first place. I mean I’m just a stranger to you right?”

“I also don’t know,” Sowon answer truthfully as she looked at the girl’s eyes, “I don’t know why I want to help you but trust me when I said that I mean it.”

There’s silence again as Sowon tried to show her utmost sincerity towards the girl.

“I-“ the girl sighed as she looked down, “Okay…” she softly said.

Sowon smiled, “What’s your name?”

“…Eunha. Jung Eunha.”

“Well then Eunha, I’m Kim Sowon, it’s nice to meet you!” Sowon smiled as she softly punches her chest, “I promise you that I will help you and do everything I can to help you to win SinB’s heart!”

Sowon could feel her face started to blush when Eunha didn’t show any reaction at her stupid action before.

“Uh…” Sowon began in embarrassment however words died on when she heard Eunha’s laugh.

Eunha’s eyes were closed and her arms are around her stomach, holding it as she laughed.

“Hey!” Sowon scolded but she could feel her lips forming a smile.

“S-Sorry…” Eunha said between her laugh before she wipes away her tears (apparently she is laughing too hard from Sowon’s antics that made her cry) and looked at Sowon.

She gave Sowon a soft gentle smile and suddenly Sowon finds herself hard to breathe. Her heart starts to beat so fast as if she just finished running a marathon.

And right there, Sowon realized that she is in for big deep trouble because she shouldn’t feel that towards a girl she just met, especially towards a girl who just told her that she loves SinB so genuinely.

It was just so wrong.

It was just like wanting a flower that Sowon should never even touch in the first place.

It was like wanting something impossible.

“Can you please repeat it?” Eunha asked as she looked at Sowon.

Sowon rolled her eyes, “You never listen to me.” Sowon grumbled but still, she explained again, “I want you to try and cook lunch for SinB to eat tomorrow. She likes food so if you want to get her heart you should start first with her stomach.”

It’s been more than a week since Sowon and Eunha's first meeting and the older girl said she will help Eunha to get SinB’s heart. Ever since then they both always spending their lunchtime together at the school music room which is much for Sowon amusement always empty all the time.

It was a disaster in the first couple of days and Sowon realizes that Eunha is actually a really difficult person to be with.

Eunha was younger than her and yet she rarely wants to listen to Sowon. The younger girl is so stubborn and had this habit to always retorted at what Sowon said which annoys Sowon so much. She also had this habit to pout and start to act cute like whining every time she wants Sowon to do something for her.

Just like yesterday when she asked Sowon to accompany her to watch SinB practicing. The older girl refuses it at first but Eunha gave her that cute pout and whining and Sowon couldn’t find herself said no to her.

Fortunately, the school dance practice is canceled that day so Sowon didn’t have to waste her time watching SinB dancing (she watch it A LOT before) or heard Eunha constantly annoying squeal.

Yet no matter how weird it sounds, Sowon found herself fell for the younger girl deeper and deeper as each day passed by.

Every time Eunha smiled at her, every time Eunha laugh, every time Eunha talk back to her with her high pitch voice, every time Eunha whine or clinging into her hand – Sowon quickly found that Eunha is one of those people who like skinship – Sowon finds herself fall deeper.

And that is why Sowon was also terribly scared. She knows that she shouldn’t have the feeling she has right now towards the younger girl and yet she couldn’t help it at all.

But still, there’s a day where Sowon wants to do nothing more but to kick or strangle the girl.

Just like today.

“I still don’t get it,” Eunha said, pouting.

“You never get what I said!” Sowon said flailing her hands in desperation. “You always say no to my great plan to get SinB’s heart for the past few days! How can you win her heart if you keep acting like this?!”

“It’s all because your plan is stupid!” Eunha glared.

“It’s not!”

“It is! How come you kick a ball towards her and let me save her can be a way to win her heart?!”

“She will see you as a hero who helps her!”

“How about you hiding her book and just for me to come and offered her my book for her?!”

“Well, that makes her see you as someone dependable!”

“I am not even in the same year with her Sowon-unnie!” Eunha whined and glared at Sowon. Yeah, they are already on the basis where they both call each other without honorific like this, “And may I also add that she doesn’t know me! How am I supposed to do that without looking like a complete stalker?”

“Well if you just let me introduce you to her instead of watching her from afar-“

Eunha glared intensified.

“Okay, okay, my bad.” Sowon said, raising her both hands in surrender manner, “But still trust me on this. She will like it.”

Eunha groaned, “Look even if I did want to make the lunch for her, she won’t receive it.”

“She will.”

“No, she won’t.”

“Oh yeah? Explained it then Miss smarty pants.” Sowon said, folding her arms on her chest, challenging the younger girl. There’s no way someone would ever reject a free food.

Eunha rolled her eyes, “Because what will you do if someone who you don’t know suddenly come out from nowhere and giving you a lunch box that she makes by herself. Will you eat it? Will you even receive it?”

“Er….”

“Exactly what I thought.”

Sowon sighed, “Okay okay, you had a point there.” Eunha grinned and Sowon wants nothing but to wipe that smug grin from the younger girl's face, “But you forgot something.” Sowon quickly added looking at Eunha, “I am SinB’s best friend so if I came to her and give the food that you made to her, she will receive it.”

“There’s no point if she doesn’t know it’s from me, and even if she did she probably won’t receive it.”

Sowon shook her head, “I know exactly what I have to do. So just trust me, seriously.”

“But-“

“No, but,” Sowon said, raising her hand to silence the younger girl. “All you need to do is just cook some lunch and bring it to school tomorrow. I will be the one who judges if it’s good enough before I bring it to SinB. Got it?”

Eunha pouted, “What are you? A chef?”

“Your answer, Eunha.”

“…Okay.”

“Good.” Sowon nodded her head, “If you need any help-“

“No need, what’s so hard about cooking anyway,” Eunha said, cutting Sowon’s words, still with a pout, and folded her arms on her chest, “I will make you speechless with my cooking. Just you wait.”

True to Eunha’s words, the day after upon seeing Eunha’s bento Sowon couldn’t help but be speechless. Not because she how extravagant the food is or how expensive it’s looks or how delicious it’s smell. But because she couldn’t distinguish between the food and charcoal.

“What is this?” Sowon asked almost in a frightened voice as she pointed something black and round that is put inside the bento with a brown sauce.

“It’s a hamburger steak.”

“This is hamburger steak?!” Sowon asked almost shouting as her eyes went wide. She looked at Eunha in disbelieve. “And you had a nerve yesterday to reject my offer to help you.”

Eunha blushed, “Okay, okay I know that what I made is not the best all right! No need to rub it on my face!”

“Not the best? Try for killing other people with poisonous food.” Sowon mumbled which unfortunately was heard by Eunha who quickly send glared towards Sowon direction, the younger girl already opened wanting to tell the older girl a piece of her mind when what she saw made her speechless.

“This taste bad.” Sowon grumbled as she put another piece of ‘hamburger’ inside and let out a coughed. “And how can you even put chocolate sauce on this?! Don’t tell me you couldn’t see the difference between chocolate and hamburger sauce?!”

“Uh… I…”

“Seriously you,” Sowon rolled her eyes as she put another inside .

“Stop eating it!” Eunha said as she tries to grab the lunch box away from Sowon’s hand who quickly move the lunch box away from Eunha.

“I tell you that I will judge your food, so just let me eat these until I finished,” Sowon said, grumbling as she keeps eating the food.

“…Unnie idiot.”

“What was that?” Sowon glared at Eunha.

“You’re an idiot, just by the looked of it my food looked nothing edible-”

Sowon rolled her eyes, “I can still eat it that means it’s edible mind you.”

“-You don’t have to eat it.” Eunha continued, obviously ignoring Sowon, “But…” Eunha looked straight towards Sowon and Sowon can feel her breath hitched when Eunha suddenly gave her a smile that usually only had when she was talking about SinB.

A smile that Sowon never thought she would ever see from Eunha.

“Thank you,”

Sowon looked down at Eunha’s bandaged hands and fingers before whisper, “…You’re welcome.”

There’s no way I won’t eat this. Not when I know how hard you try to make them, Eunha.

“But still, you need to learn how to cook if you want to get SinB’s heart,” Sowon said with a sighed. “I will teach you how tomorrow after school.”

“But-“

“You still have the nerve to say but?” Sowon asked, arching her eyebrows towards Eunha who quickly blushed when she saw Sowon grab the burnt hamburger with her chopsticks and wave it right in front of Eunha’s face. “Tomorrow, afterschool sharp I will wait for you right in front of the school gate. Don’t be late.” Sowon said, satisfied when Eunha didn’t say anything back and put the burnt hamburger on and cringed a second later.

“What are you doing here?” SinB asked as she looked towards Sowon with a questioning gaze.

Sowon shrugged as she put her hands on her coat pockets, trying to warm her hands. She is in the middle of waiting for Eunha to come out of the school building when SinB saw her and decides to disturb her.

“Sowon unnie-“

Sowon sighed when she heard SinB tone of voice, that is the tone the younger girl used when she wants – no scratch that, demand something and won’t stop until she gets it, “I promised my friend to meet up with her today after school.”

“Is this friend of yours is the reason why you always went missing at lunch time?” SinB asked which Sowon only answered with a nod without even bothered looking at the girl direction. “Oh… I see. I never thought that this day will ever come.”

Sowon looked at SinB weirdly, “What are you talking about? What day?”

SinB smiled mischievously making Sowon regret her question, “Why of course, the day where you finally introduce me with your girlfriend!”

Not expecting that kind of answer from SinB, Sowon couldn’t help but choked making her coughed loudly for a nice few minutes before she looked at SinB with teary eyes from the coughed and croaked, “Wh-What?!”

“Your girlfriend,” SinB repeated once again, eyes twinkling in amusement as she looked at how Sowon face suddenly change color into crimson red either from embarrassment or angriness, SinB couldn’t tell.

“What the hell SinB?!” Sowon shouted finally after opening and closing for a few seconds just like a fish as she angrily glared at SinB, “She is not my girlfriend!!!”

“Your crush then?” SinB asked innocently as she tilting her head slightly and if only Sowon didn’t know her ever since she was a baby she would believe that the girl is just asking an innocent question just like how she looked right now.

Sowon knows better though.

“She is not my crush,” Sowon said between her gritted teeth.

“It’s not good for lying unnie, especially to your best friend.”

“I am not lying!!” Sowon shouted angrily.

SinB let out a big laugh which made Sowon frowned angrily. She was about to scold the younger girl when suddenly a loud voice calling her name.

“Sowon unnie- oh.” Eunha was shouting Sowon’s name as she runs towards the older girl but quickly stop when she saw SinB was standing there.

Her face turns into a bright red as she looked down on the ground and Sowon’s couldn’t help but feel her heart clenched in pain.

“Hello,” SinB greeted with a bright smiled before nudge Sowon and whispered, “She’s cute.”

“I guess,” Sowon said as she tried not to sound too bitter about that. She then walked towards Eunha and grab the younger girl's hand, pushing away the hurt feeling she gets when she saw the younger girl frowned when she touched her, and pulled her towards SinB.

“SinB, this is Eunha,” Sowon said and quickly let the younger girl’s hand go. She doesn’t want to make Eunha feel uncomfortable after all. “Eunha, this is SinB.”

“H-Hello…” Eunha said, eyes looking at anywhere but SinB.

“Hello, I remember that I saw you a couple of times watching our practice.” SinB said and that makes Eunha blushed again, “Thank you for your constant support.”

“Ah- no,” Eunha mumbled.

Sowon bitterly smiled as she turns away and started to walk away from Eunha and SinB.

It’s not like they will even realize she is already gone away as they seem to be fully immersed in their conversation. SinB even shows that she is interested in Eunha as there are sparks in her eyes when she saw and said Eunha is cute.

Well, what is she even hoping for in the first place?

This love is doomed from the start.

Too deep in her thought, Sowon didn’t even realize the loud shout calling for her before suddenly someone jumped on her back, making her almost losing her footing and sending her towards the hard-concrete ground if not for her quick reflex.

“Why are you leaving me like that, unnie!” Eunha's voice could be heard from her back and Sowon quickly adjusts herself so she can hold the younger girl better as Eunha now practically clinging on her back.

“Why are you here?” Sowon asked as she looked at Eunha confusedly.

Eunha pouted, “Because you leave me.”

Sowon sighed, “I give you time to talk with SinB, you idiot.”

“I am not an idiot,” Eunha hit Sowon’s back, “I made a promise with you yesterday so of course, I left when you are also leaving. Besides, there is no way I can hold any decent conversation with SinB when we just talk today!” she said before she climbs down and grabs Sowon’s hands.

A deep frowned latched on her face as she held it close to her face.

“You are freezing unnie, why are you so stupid and forget to bring your gloves when the weather is this cold?” Eunha scold, “You surprise me back there when you hold my hand because of how cold your hand is.”

Sowon blinked in surprise.

Is that mean, when she frowned before it’s because of how cold my hand is and not because she hates it?

Eunha let go of Sowon’s hand before she pulled her gloves away from her hands.

“Here,” Eunha said with a small happy smile as she put the gloves on Sowon’s hand, “It will make your hands warmer.”

“It’s too small for me, Eunha,” Sowon said with a small chuckled which made the smaller girl frowned.

“Well, it is not my fault that your hands are too big!”

“It’s not big! It’s long okay?!” Sowon shouted back angrily.

They both glared at each other for a while before the break into a laugh.

“Geez, seriously you,” Sowon said before she pulled the gloves away from Eunha’s hand, earning a small protest sounds from the smaller girl. She put it on one of her hands and smiled when she saw how tight the glove is and how it barely fit her.

Sowon then turned towards Eunha, before softly took Eunha’s hand.

“What are you doing?” Eunha asked with a frowned when Sowon put the remaining glove on her hand.

“Sharing is caring,” Sowon said, “I don’t want you to get sick.”

“Geez unnie, you should worry about your health! Your hands are freezing! Besides only using one of the gloves won’t-“

Sowon put her hand on Eunha’s mouth.

“Why are you so noisy?”

Eunha glared and before Sowon realize what happens, Eunha already bites her hand which made Sowon yelped in pain.

“That’s hurt!” Sowon complained while Eunha just scoffed as she folded her hands, “You ask for it.”

Sowon shook her head, sometimes the smaller girl is just too much.

“Here,” Sowon reached out her gloveless hand towards Eunha, “Let’s hold hand so it won’t be too cold.”

“You can just say that you want to hold my hand, you know?” Eunha said teasingly, however, she took Sowon’s hand and then put it inside of Sowon’s jacket pocket, making her now standing close towards Sowon, “Warm enough, unnie?” Eunha asked with a bright smiled which made Sowon quickly turn away.

Indeed, it is really warm.

Especially inside Sowon’s heart.

“Wow, you really are bad at this…” Sowon said as she looked at another ‘charcoal’ that Eunha just made.

“Shut up,” Eunha said with a pouted.

Sowon let out a laugh as she sits right in front of the food which supposed to be eggs scramble and grab a spoon.

“What are you doing?” Eunha asked with wide eyes.

“Eating?”

“Unnie! You’ve been eating all of my cooking since I start a few hours ago!” Eunha shouted in shock and tries to grab the plate away from Sowon who quickly put it away from Eunha reaches.

“Unni!! Stop, you will get sick!” Eunha shouted when she saw Sowon put the food inside and grimace in disgust at the taste.

“Well, it still tastes bad but at least now you can tell the difference between salt and sugar,” Sowon said, ignoring Eunha’s outburst.

“Sowon unnie!”

Sowon smiled, “Don’t worry, I am fine. This is nothing.”

Eunha frowned, “I don’t want you to get sick because of me.”

“Are you worried about me?”

“Be more serious, please?” Eunha said with a sighed as she runs her fingers through her hair. “My cooking is really bad, even I can tell that and yet you still eat it again and again. Are you really out of your mind, unnie?”

Sowon shrugged, well there is no way she could tell Eunha that she hates to see all of Eunha’s effort went to the trash bin.

Sowon keeps eat the food, ignoring Eunha whine about how she should stop and only after she makes sure that she didn’t leave anything in the plate that she looked at Eunha and smiled at her, “It tastes better than before,” Sowon said.

“Oh now you acknowledge me,” Eunha grumbled and that made Sowon laughed.

“Stop laughing unnie! I’m mad at you!”

“Okay okay, I will, stop shouting. You are hurting my ears with your high pitch voice.”

“Unnie!”

“Come on, it’s getting late,” Sowon said as she looked at the clock on the wall and grab Eunha’s jacket from the dining chair and give it to the smaller girl. “I’ll walk you home.”

Eunha frowned, “Sowon unnie, you don’t have to. My house is not that far, besides you are already in your home-“

“It’s dangerous for a girl to walk at night alone.”

“You are also a girl, unnie.” Eunha pointed out.

“Yes, but I can take care of myself and besides I am not as small as you.” Sowon teased which makes Eunha kick her.

“HEY!” Sowon shouted angrily as she holds her now aching foot.

Eunha only put her tongue out towards Sowon in response before she grabs her bag and stuff and walked outside the house making Sowon scrambled to follow her.

“Wait for me, Eunha!”

“Geez, you don’t have to walk that fast…” Sowon grumbled while beside her Eunha only pouted and looked away from her.

Sowon sighed, “Are you still angry?”

“What do you think?”

“Okay, I’m sorry, I won’t tease you about your height anymore,” Sowon said as she put her hands up in the air.

“Good,” Eunha said, “Just because you are so tall as a giraffe doesn’t mean everyone around you is small.”

“Hey! I am not as tall as giraffe!”

“You are, admit it.” Eunha said, looking at Sowon, “I mean I am actually considered as one of the tall girls in my class but then when I walk beside you suddenly I become as small as uhm…” Eunha trailed off, looking for something to compare herself with.

“Bunny?” Sowon offered.

“Why a bunny?”

“Because you look like a bunny and you also bite like a bunny.”

“I can still bite you unnie.” Eunha threatened and Sowon laughed at that.

They walked in silence after that, enjoying the moment with Sowon occasionally steal glances towards Eunha. The smaller girl looks so beautiful right now, with the moonshine upon her feature and makes her almost look like a moon goddess.

Sowon looked away, blushing from her thoughts.

Seriously just how cheesy she can be to even think Eunha as a moon goddess.

“I like stars,” Eunha suddenly said, pulling Sowon’s away from her thoughts.

“Stars are beautiful,” Sowon said in agreement.

“They also always make me feel less lonely when I am alone at night.” Eunha said, “When I was a little, my family live in the countryside and every night I will always spend my time watching the stars, too bad here in the city we can barely see them because of the city lights.”

Sowon hummed as she walked closer to Eunha, shielding the smaller girl from the night winter wind.

“Unnie?”

“Yes, Eunha?”

Eunha turned to look at Sowon, “Do you think SinB also love stars?”

Sowon smiled, hoping that she smiled didn’t look as bad as she felt right now, “Who wouldn’t?”

“What are you even eat? You’ve been to the toilet for 20th times already since you get back home.” Umji asked her older sister as she watched Sowon laying on her bed after her return from the toilet.

“Shut up, Umji,” Sowon said as she buried her face deeper on her pillow.

Umji sighed, “I’ll make a tea for you.”

“Please do…” Sowon grumbled before let out another groaned when her stomach grumbled once again.

“Don’t worry, she will take it,” Sowon said with a small smile as she pushed Eunha softly.

“But-“

“You’ve been working hard for these past few days,” Sowon said, encouragingly. “So don’t worry about poisoning SinB.”

“Unnie!” Eunha whined making Sowon laughed as she reached out towards Eunha’s head and ruffled it, making Eunha let out a squeal as she quickly fixes her hair.

“You’ll be fine,” Sowon said, “Just go.”

Eunha huffed but then she smiled at Sowon and walked towards where SinB is.

Sowon watched with a pained smile as Eunha give SinB the lunch box in her hands and saying something with that cute bright red face of hers. SinB on her part looks surprised but she smiled and took the lunch box from Eunha’s hand.

Sowon sighed and turn around when she saw how SinB offered Eunha to take a seat in front of her so they can eat lunch together.

With each step she took she can feel her heart shatter bits by bits.

Well, she already prepares for it but that doesn’t mean that it feels less painful.

Sowon starts to make an excuse for not seeing Eunha.

She knew that she is hurting the smaller girl, but she just couldn’t help it, it hurts when she saw Eunha spend her time with SinB, laughing and talking with her.

And she desperately needs to move on from the smaller girl.

Beside Eunha now starts to spend her time with SinB so it’s not like she needs her anymore.

“Why are you avoiding me?” Eunha asked as she pushed Sowon to the wall behind her and trapped her between her hands.

The smaller girl had this scowl on her face as she glared at Sowon with scrunched nose and Sowon wants to slam her head to the wall behind her because after not seeing Eunha for a few days, the impact from the smaller girl is too much for her heart.

“Eunha, can this wait?” Sowon began as she showed a pile of books in her hands, “The teacher is waiting for me.” Sowon said but Eunha only pouts and shook her head.

“No, if I let you go now, I don’t know when I will catch you again. You always run away when you see me these days after all.” Eunha said and Sowon had to stop herself from grimacing in guilt.

“Unnie, why are you avoiding me?” Eunha asked almost whining and Sowon had to stop herself from distracted by about how cute Eunha is.

“I’m not-“

“Don’t even try to lie to me, Kim Sowon.” Eunha said with a stern voice, “Is this because of SinB? I feel like you’ve been avoiding me ever since I spend my time with SInB.”

“Eunha-“

“But then why are you avoiding me because of SinB? It doesn’t make sense,” Eunha frowned, “I mean you tell me that you want to help me, so it doesn’t make any sense that you start avoiding me because of that. Is it because you feel that I took her away from you?”

“Eunha, stop-“

Eunha eyes went wide, “Or is it that you realize that you actually like SinB and-“

“It’s you!!” Sowon shouted and the moment those words left she regretted it immediately especially with how Eunha is looking at her with those big wide eyes.

“Wh-What?”

Sowon took a deep breath, she didn’t mean to. She didn’t want to tell Eunha about her feelings towards the smaller girl but when Eunha started talking about SinB and think that she actually in love with SinB, something inside her just snapped and those words finally came out from .

“Unnie, please… Tell me, what do you mean by it’s me?”

“It’s you,” Sowon sighed, looking straightly at Eunha’s eyes, “I avoid you, run away from you, because it’s you, Eunha. I am not in love with SinB, I am in love with you.”

Eunha hands that trapped Sowon before fell as she took a step back, eyes looking at Sowon in disbelieve.

“Wh-Why?”

Sowon shrugged, “I don’t know, at first I think you are cute. But as we spent our time together and I got to know you…” Sowon smiled, “Before I even realize it, I already fall in love with you. However I know your feelings towards SinB and I swear I do want you and SinB together but Eunha, it still hurt me, you know? I’ve prepared myself to see you with SinB but at the same time when I saw you with her, talking and smiling so brightly about her to me, I can’t help but feel hurt about that.”

Sowon let out a sighed, “I need time Eunha, time to heal and time to move on from you. Until then, I don’t think I can see you.”

“Since- since when? Since when you realize you are in love with me? How can I not see it?”

Sowon smiled, “You were too busy falling in love with SinB to notice me.”

“Unnie, I-“

Sowon shook her head, “No, don’t say anything Eunha. You don’t have to say anything, it’s not your fault after all. I already know that this love of me for you is doomed to fail so please don’t worry about me and be with SinB.”

“But-“

“I have to go now,” Sowon said before she walked away – almost running away from Eunha.

“You know… you look quite pathetic right now.” SinB said and Sowon let out a groaned.

“Who let you in?” Sowon grumbled angrily as she glared at the younger girl who was leaning on her room door frame.

“Umji,” SinB stated.

Sowon huffed, she should have known that her little sister will let SinB in. She needs to scold her and told her that she shouldn’t let SinB come inside their house ever again.

“What do you want?”

“I want you to stop Eunha unnie from moping,” SinB said as she sits on Sowon’s bed.

Sowon frowned, “What do you mean?”

SinB huffed, “Well ever since your confession- don’t look at me like that,” SinB quickly added when Sowon glared at her, “Eunha unnie told me about it after I force it out from her since she looks so out of it during lunch,”

Sowon buried her face again on her pillow, regretting once again her decision to tell her feelings towards Eunha.

“Eunha unnie always has this sad look and emotions inside her eyes which made me also feel bad about it and I hate feeling bad, okay?” SinB huffed before she shook Sowon’s, “So you need to fix it, Sowon unnie!”

Sowon huffed, “Stop shaking me!! I am trying okay? I am trying to move on from her! Once I am done then I will try to fix my relationship with her!”

SinB hit Sowon’s back hard, making the older girl shouted in pain.

“Why you hit me?!” Sowon shouted.

“Because you are being stupid, unnie!” SinB said in a flat tone of voice which made Sowon want to kick the younger girl from her bed.

Which she did.

“HEY!” SinB shouted angrily as she fell from the bed because of Sowon’s kick.

“You deserve it,” Sowon grumbled before sitting up and looked at SinB, “So why are you calling me stupid?”

“Because you said that you want to move on!”

Sowon frowned, she didn’t understand what SinB is trying to say to her. Why her moving on is a stupid idea? Does SinB think that she is a masochist who likes to hurt herself?

SinB huffed, “Unnie, did you know what Eunha unnie and I talking about every time we spend our time together?”

Sowon shook her head.

“We are talking about you! Every time, every single day! I am so close to puking up every time Eunha unnie talking about you with those love in her eyes.” SinB said almost shouting, “It’s so obvious that you both are in love with each other!”

Sowon blinked, “That doesn’t make any sense…”

“That someone loves you so much that she spends 24/7 talking about you?”

“No, I mean about Eunha in love with me. How can she when she is in love with you?”

SinB sighed as she stood up from the floor, “Unnie, maybe at one point in the past she is in love with me but right now the one she is in love with is not me. It’s you.” SinB put her hands on Sowon’s shoulder and squeeze them slightly, “Believe me, I’ve seen with my own two eyes how Eunha unnie beam up every time she was talking about you and how she keeps mentioning your name in every topic we venture on.”

SinB smiled, “She loves you, and you better do something about it.”

Sowon shook her head, “No, I can’t.”

“Seriously Unnie-“

“I don’t want to push her more than I already did,” Sowon said but her voice now filled determination as she looked at SinB, “I’ve told her about my feeling to her, so all I can do is to wait for her to come to me and tell me how she truly feels about me. If she loves me or not.”

SinB sighed, “Well okay, I think at this rate Eunha unnie will realize it soon.”

Sowon looked at the letter inside her locker and a sense of déjà vu hits her.

She took the letter out and smile when this time the letter said for who the letter is in small cute handwriting.

Kim Sowon.

Well, at least now she know that this time it is not a mistake.

“I hate you,” is what Eunha said the moment she laid her eyes on Sowon who just step inside the school music room.

“Eunha-“

“No, listen to me.” Eunha walked towards Sowon, “I hate you because you avoiding me, I hate you that you keep run away from me, and I hate you because you never told me about your feelings which makes me end up hurting you.” Eunha said and with every word she pushed Sowon slightly, trying to show her point towards the older girl.

“Eunha-“

“Shut up,” Eunha growled and in one quick motion, she suddenly grabs Sowon’s collar and tug the taller girl down and crashed her lips on Sowon’s.

The kiss was rough at first, as Eunha trying to show Sowon how frustrated she is right now towards her feelings and towards the older girl but slowly the kiss turn into a gentle kiss and Eunha could feel how Sowon’s hands are now resting on her waist and pulling her closer into the kiss which she gladly reciprocate as she also moves her hands from Sowon’s collar towards the back of the taller girl neck and circling it there as she also pulled her closer.

“W-wow…” Sowon breathlessly said as they pulled away from the kiss. “I-I didn’t expect that.”

“I hate you, Kim Sowon…” Eunha said as she let her head rested on Sowon’s shoulder, “I hate the fact that ever since your confession – no, way before that, you are the one who is inside my mind. I keep thinking about you, even when I am with SinB or when I cook lunch for her, all I could ever think is about how you will react when I do this or when you are in this situation and I hate the fact that you are not there beside me…”

“Sorry…” Sowon mumbled as she pulled Eunha closer inside her embrace.

“But more than that, I hate that it took me so long to realize that I love you and not SinB. I think-“ Eunha took a deep breath, “I think you are like the stars to me unnie.”

“Stars?”

“You- you are always there for me and yet I was blinded by the city light to notice you.”

Sowon chuckled, “That is a beautiful phrase. I don’t know you are capable of saying something so cheesy like that.”

“Shut up, don’t ruin the moment.”

“I’m sorry,” Sowon laughed before she pulled away from the hug and showed the letter inside her hand towards Eunha. “So this letter, this is for me, right? No more wrong locker?”

Eunha pouted, “Stop teasing me.”

Sowon chuckled, “Well I just want to make sure after all this is all started with a wrong locker. Which reminds me that I have to say thank you towards your clumsiness because-”

“Can you stop talking?” Eunha grumbled, “Yes, it is for you. Are you happy now?”

“Very,” Sowon said before she pulled Eunha back into a long deep kiss.
