A/N Skip to the time when the girls at high school

This supposed to be Valentine Day special but I can’t make it yesterday because I need to join family event. Enjoy the story!!

One fine day at Kim house, Taeyeon is at home with her daughters while Jessica goes outstation. Jessica return to office after Yeri start her high school but she still makes sure that she will have time for the girls. Taeyeon prepare a driver for her daughters to pick them up or drive them anywhere when her and Jessica is busy but every morning, they will drive the girls to school.

“Girls, do you have something to do after this?” Taeyeon busy cleaning the kitchen with her daughters help

“No daddy, we’re free” Wendy answer for her sisters

“Do you have any plan daddy?” Joy asked

“Daddy want to clean the study so daddy need your help”

“Sure, no problem” the girls chirped

“Alright, we will do it after cleaning the kitchen”

“Okay”

15 minutes later, their work done and they go to the study upstairs. The girls rarely go inside the study because it was use by Taeyeon and Jessica to do their work while the girls have their own study desk in their room

“Aigooo, it’s been a while since I come in here” Seulgi roam around the big room that was well-designed for work. Everything was arranged neatly and really cozy to study or working

“Daddy, what we should do first?” Irene asked

“Vacuum the floor, arrange the documents and books neatly and dust off the book shelves. Daddy will tidy this table”

“Okay”

Irene vacuum the floor, Wendy and Yeri arrange the documents and books on it shelves while Joy and Seulgi dust the bookshelves

“Wow daddy, you have lot of good books collection here” Wendy eyes sparkling when she found lot of books that caught her attention

“Do you interest to read it?”

“Yes, can I?” Wendy beamed excitedly

“Sure but make sure to return it to it place after you done reading” Taeyeon said

“Okay daddy”

“Yaa, move to other side. I want to vacuum this place” Irene said to Seulgi and Joy

“Unnie, you can do other side first” Joy said

“I’m done and I want to finish soon” Irene playfully hit her sister with the vacuum “Go, go”

“You want to us in?” Seulgi asked

“Yes if you don’t want to move” Irene smirked evilly

“We will drag you along into the vacuum” Seulgi retort

“Yaaa, how dare you said that to your unnie”

“Win-win situation” Joy said

After arrange the books, Wendy and Yeri join Taeyeon at the desk and the cabinet. Yeri open one of the drawer and something immediately caught her attention

“Our beautiful journey?” Yeri read something that written on the cover “Daddy, what is this?” Yeri take out the box and show it to Taeyeon

Suddenly Taeyeon grin and it make her daughter getting curious “That is photo album of me and your mommy”

“Wow, can we see it?” Irene excited

“Daddy, I guess you should tell us about you and mommy” Yeri said

“Sure, daddy will tell you after this. Since your mommy is not around so it is good moment to tell you guys”

“Did mommy don’t want anyone to know about both of you?” Seulgi wondering

“No, she’s fine with that but daddy feel awkward whenever we talk about it if your mom is around” Taeyeon giggle

“Aigooo, so sweet of you” the girls teasing Taeyeon

“Aigooo, let finish this quickly then you can interview daddy and ask whatever you want to know”

“Okay daddy”

After finish cleaning, they sit on the couch while Taeyeon at single sofa like they are they sit for interview

“Good morning Mr. Kim, we are from The Kim Magazine. We come to interview you about your marriage life with your beloved wife, Jessica Jung” Wendy act like she is the interviewer

Taeyeon play around with her daughter “Thanks for invite me to this interview and it’s my honor to share the journey of me and my wife to all of you” she burst out laughter after that

“Daddy, how did you meet mommy? How long did you know her?” Seulgi asked eagerly

“I know your mom at our high school. We’re close friend that time but it’s not immediately that we have feeling at each other. I and your mom are really opposite to each other in our attitude. We have big different in our preference”

“So how did you cope with that?”

“We try to understand each other like and dislike. We really have big different in lot of things but it make both of us complete each other. For example, your mom is not good at cooking but I good at it so I do it for both of us. It take too much for your mom to master at cooking like she did now”

“Mommy is really good at cooking” Wendy admits

“You’re right, she work hard to be a good cook” Taeyeon said “What else you want to know?”

“Just tell us anything” said Yeri

“Where shall I start?” Taeyeon tapped her chin “Since I know her, your mom is someone who really sweet, loving and warm but she’s cold towards someone stranger or to someone who she doesn’t like. Lot of people thinks that she is arrogant by judging from her cold image. When she is angry, she’s the scariest person I ever know. She don’t have fear at anyone and she take the challenge if someone mess with her. She used to fight a lot at high school and college”

“Mommy is that scary?” Irene shocked

“Yes, that is the side of her that you all never see and don’t ever make her show it to you guys. Even she has bad temper back then but she never scold me for no reason. She’s really possessive girlfriend and she hate it when someone approach me or talk with me not in proper way. She always has her eyes on me. First it bugged me a lot but then I used to it and I like her possessive side. That is shown that she love me so much”

“Mommy scary but sweet” the daughters giggle

“You’re right”

“Do you ever have fight with mommy?” Joy throwing question to her dad

“Yes, we have lot of little fight or shall I say argument?” Taeyeon chuckled “I have big fight like 2 or 3 times when we’re dating. One of the fights almost makes us break up. Luckily the case was handling well and we make it up again”

“If both of you break up, we’re not meeting each other” Yeri said

“Yeah, if we’re not meant for each other we won’t have beautiful daughters” Taeyeon said

“Aigoo daddy” the girls turn shy

“But daddy, mommy never show that side of her” said Joy

“Mommy change a lot since we’re married or to be exact since Irene born. It not drastic but she change to be better person like she is now. We do have arguments in early days of our marriage but unlike before. She’s more considerate, more understanding than before and not as possessive as she did before. Mommy is more mature after Irene born. She always by my side, supports me in my early carrier and even until now. We go through lot of up and down together but she never complain instead she support me in doing whatever I want to do to provide proper life to our family”

“Mommy is good wife” Seulgi commented proudly

“True, both of us are not from wealthy family. We grew in normal life unlike now. Your grandparent don’t really agree when we want to get married after we graduate our high school because they want us to focus on our future before have commitment but we don’t listen to them so we get married in the age of 20. Your grandparents offer financial support but we resist because we want to work on our own. We do part time jobs to get decent pay to support our life”

“Aigooo” the girls shook their heads

“What a tough life” Wendy said

“Daddy, tell us more” Seulgi getting excited

Taeyeon adjust her seat “We plan our family well so that we won’t have child until our finance is really stable. Both of us get decent job after graduate from university then we buy house and car. Few years later, Juhyun born and it make our family more beautiful. Juhyun really special to both of us but don’t get me wrong, all off you are special but Juhyun in the other case” Taeyeon looking at her daughters and they understand what she trying to say “Lot of things change after your unnie born and it make us mature than before. We spend most of our time at home to take care of our baby so that she grow up in good environment”

“Aigooo, unnie is crying” Wendy rubbed Irene shoulder who softly sobbing after she heard what her dad said

“I love you daddy” Irene said

“We love you too” both of them hugging each other
