That Situation Where

Description

Jung Daehyun is a reclusive catboy who wants nothing more than to live a peaceful life with his two cats. Socializing isn't a necessity, but his best friend Jongup drags him out every so often. Whether it was to hang out or do some grocery shopping, maybe eat some food from a fast food joint and go chill with Junhong, it didn't matter. So long as he got out of the house sometimes.

 

Doing this is exactly how Daehyun ended up constantly on the run from meeting his neighbour, Yoo Youngjae, after one fateful afternoon. The question is... Will he give in, or will he continue avoiding his neighbour like a plague?

A/N:

Behold, That Situation Where~! The story that won my recent poll! This story will be updated on Thursdays.

Fun fact: a lot of the things that happen in this story are based on true events. Except I'm not a catboy (although my best friend and her family like to joke that I'm a cat) and I will never meet my neighbour. The only way I'll meet my neighbour is if he comes pounding on my door and tells me, "so hey, I'm reading this story on aff...."

Also, while not a story I'd consider rated M, there will be cussing and a few chapters with the M rating.

This story is in 1st person Daehyun's perspective the entire story (unless I decide to do some bonus chapters at the end)

Burning questions:

a) what color/breed is cat-form dae?

b) how incredibly cute is human-form dae? ; )

c) how many percent of the time is dae human?

d) why is Umma Guk 'Umma' and not 'Appa'?

e) lastly, will daejae ever meet and have a conversation?



P.s. I love the attention to detail, e.g. why dae prefers to put his phone on speaker mode (makes perfect sense!!!) and why there's no bed in his house!

Chapter 4: This is random but I hope your disgarded pumpkin doesn't grow if you threw it on grass. I'm legit reading the chapter after but I'm still thinking about the pumpkin. We never have pumpkin I cant stand it but somehow a vine grew in our backyard and it got huge. (Partly my fault because I saw something growing wanted to know what it was so let it grow) we had 20 pumpkins in no time haha
