"I-I... I was... I was wondering... If you want to be... my date?"

The girl with specs finally had the courage to say it out. She stared at the ground silently waiting for a reply.

"Okay!" He answered. Such a short and simple answer but it manage to make both of their heart raced. "I originally wanted to go with Jieun but we've been going together for 4 years straight now, and it's getting kinda bored, so yea lets go together Sonhee!" He smiled brightly at the girl and the girl did the same. Little did they know his friends were all listening.

So he got bored of me huh?

"Jieun-ah are you okay??" Sooyoung said and pulled her into a hug. The girl was now crying she didn't know how to react, she didn't know what to think, all she knew was that he got tired of her and that he needed someone new who was not her.

"Aish that bastard" Taehyung swore under his breath slowly before making towards his way to the girl and the boy. "Yah Kim Taehyung! What do you think you're doing?" Namjoon said grabbing his arm. "To give this bastard a piece of his own mind!" Taehyung glared at Namjoon.

Everyone in the group had know about Jieun's crush on Jungkook. And everyone in school knows that Jungkook and Jieun will some how ended up together, since they've always been together. But they never did.

"He's not worth it" Namjoon said before letting go of Taehyung's arm. "Guys let's head into class" Namjoon said and the others followed him to class, with the girl still crying. Not listening Taehyung continued towards Jungkook and the girl.

"Jeon Jungkook, we needa talk" He glared at him. "Okay... see you later Sonhee!" He bid the girl goodbye and turned to face the male who was furious. "What's up? Something happened? You look pissed?" Jungkook asked.

"Yea I'm pissed, because of you" Taehyung glared. "What did I do this time?" Jungkook said as he kept his hands in his pockets.

"First of all, you invited some crazy lady to eat lunch with us, then you left us to team up with that girl and now you're making Jieun cry?" Taehyung raised his voice. Jungkook being Jungkook, darted his tongue to his inner cheek. Now he's pissed too.

It was quiet, both waiting to see who was willing to speak up first. Jungkook gave in and sighed

"You like Jieun, don't you?"

He smirked knowing his best friend too well. Taehyung on the other hand went quiet.

"So what if I do? What are you gonna do about it?" Taehyung raised a brow.

"Nothing" Jungkook smiled "You can have her, ask her to the dance festival too if you may" He paused and look at the ground

"You see, Jieun is a very dear friend of mine, someone who I don't plan on losing. And it's pretty obvious that she likes me, but sadly I just don't feel the same. Don't get me wrong I do like her but not in a way where I would date her. I would do anything to protect her and make her smile. But I
