The rest of 2018 went like this for both Jungkook and Yeri:

Eat, Sleep, Practise, Work, Perform, Travel and ACT HAPPY 

But now it was a new year, and the both were hoping for a much more positive year, not full of heart break and sadness

Will it happen? Or will history repeat itself?

"Music....... Bank! I'm Yeri from RedVelvet" 

"and I'm Jungkook from BTS" 

"and we are....." they both said in unison "the golden maknaes!!!!" 

"we are here backstage with our one and only groups, BangtanSonyeondan" 

"and RedVelvet!" Jungkook jumped in 

"2,3 Happiness! Anyeonghaseyo RedVelvet imida!" 

What was funny was that Jungkook was standing on RedVelvet's side, even joining them for their introduction, leaving Yeri to be on BTS' side 

They all laughed at Jungkook, but Yeri quickly signed them off to get BTS to introduce themselves 

"2,3 Bangtan! Anyeonghaseyo BangtanSonyeondan imida" 

Yeri too joined BTS in their introduction, making Jungkook release a soft smile, not realising that he was still in the cameras frame 

"Neh, we are here with both groups as they go head to head for first place" Yeri professionally spoke as Jhope and Wendy held up fists to each other like they were pretending to fight 

BTS and RedVelvet laughed and Jungkook was laughing too, until he saw the uncomfortable expression Yeri was wearing, which immediately made him sad again

"Chaaa, Bangtan I hear will be performing Boy With Luv, is that right Jimin-ssi?" Jungkook just announced as he decided they should probably get this over and done with 

Jimin gave Jungkook a knowing look as he started to speak "Ah yeah, we will be performing Boy With Luv, and if we win, we will switch parts" 

After a few seconds of silence because Jhope forgot to say his line because he was too excited to be standing next to Wendy, Yeri decided to cut through with her line 

"Umpah Umpah! RedVelvet, will you be performing Umpah Umpah?" 

Irene then brang the microphone she was holding to her face as she started speaking "Aniyaa Yerimmie, we will be performing our very new song Zimzalabim" 

For a faint second Jungkook turned his head to Yeri's direction just to see her smiling brightly because Irene called her 'Yerimmie' 

"and if we win, we will show a very weird dance that Wendy and Joy made up last minute, isn't that right Joy?" Seulgi spoke as the script said, but she couldn't help but glance over at Jimin who was staring at her too much 

'aish, he's being too obvious' she thought in her head as she handed the microphone over to Joy 

"neh! Me and Wendy made a very complex choreography to Zimzalabim that we can't wait to show uri Reveluvs" Joy spoke with the utmost confidence and a tint of scary aegyo

Jimin then took the microphone up from Jhope who was playing with it "so please, don't turn off or change the channel"

"and......" Yeri joined in 

"waitttt for ussss!" They all said in unison in a somewhat joyful spirit 

And as soon as they saw the green light in the camera turn red, they all relaxed and each smile turned to stone as it grew awkward between the groups 

"we were way too obvious" 

"Namjoon's right, we didn't really do a good job in hiding our emotio
