“Her? Yeah, she’s pretty, I guess…” I answered, propping my head up in my hands. Somehow, I knew where this conversation was going, and I didn’t like it one bit.
“How old did you say she was?” he asked. I fiddled with my hair, pretending I was trying to think. Truthfully, I just wanted to prolong this suspense. I didn't want to hear what came next.
“She was born in ’97.”
“Ah, never mind, then.” It was so minor, but I felt so relieved.
“What’s the matter? A little too young?” I chuckled.
“Yeah, actually. She’s my dongsaeng, like you.”
“I’m not your dongsaeng! We’re friends, aren’t we?”
“Nah, you’re like a little sister to me. Besides, I only like noonas.”
