The darkness presses in as Jong-in strips off his clothing and folds them neatly on a tree stump. He can feel the ripple of change sweep through his body and he knows the pain will soon follow. Yellow eyes watch him from the shadows, freshly shifted wolves waiting for their packmate. The screams of transformation are heard all around him and the beast inside of him stirs ready to be unleashed. He gets down on his hands and knees as a burning pain rises in his body. His spine snaps and his ribs expand. Gray fur shots out from his body and his face extends from a nose to a muzzle. His teeth space out and sharpen while his screams rip from behind them. His already long legs and arms grow longer and a tail juts out from the base of his spine. With one final shout, a mix between a human scream and a gutteral growl, he burst from his skin and lands on all fours. The wolf is free at last.
