Chapter 4

"Tell me about that book" Seulgi said in a serious tone while catching her breathe maybe she ran all the way here

"This is kind of weird and unbelievable but based on what I gathered so far is that I'm an extra character for this book and when there is a scene I can't move against my own will strange right? It's like we are in the story also"

"I'm experiencing some strange things too"

I looked at her "What is it?"

"I think I'm teleporting to the next scene like for example I was just here and then I will hear a strange sound after that I'm in other scene I don't know this is so weird and then sometimes I have hallucinations like I can predict the future by only hearing the voice"

"We may still not know what is happening since we don't finished the story yet" I conclude and show her the book

"It's my name really written here like what you said...not only me but the people around me"she said scanning the each pages

"Where did you find it?" she asked

"It's just here in the bookstore" I answered

"Look at this! this chapter is where me and joy first met when we were kids! How in the earth is this in here? So detailed like in real life"

"I know right?"

"If this is a book then I can know the ending" 

The door suddenly opened "There's still no ending to that I'm also anticipating what will be the end" We both looked at the unfamilliar person who entered the bookstore with a juice in can in her hands

"Who are you?" I asked

"Are you the author of this book!?" Seulgi said

"No I'm not the author of that stupid book, and to answer who I am..I'm just one of the extra character in this story who is aware of myself"

"What are you saying?"

"I'm thankful since I'm not the only one now yet I feel sad for you two you must be confused and searching for answers"

"Explain what are you talking about!" 

"To make everything simple we are fictional characters in that book" she answered

"This is making no sense!" I demand

"That's my first reaction too but anyways I learned to accept the truth and embrace my role" the stranger said and sat down on the chair

"Explain everything you know why is this happening to us!" Seulgi shouted

The stranger sighed "We are the characters in that book, it's almost complete but there is no ending because it's writer doesn't want to end it for now. The world we know is the novel world this is not the reality since the real world is beyond us we can't reach that" the stranger paused for awhile before continuing 

"What you both experiencing right now is because you are now aware of yourselves, not all characters can be aware of themselves eventually I'm the first one to be in this story and search for the answers all by myself but luckily, I found that book and it explains everything because it really do make sense"

"Are you saying we are just a character in this book? And this is not the real world? We are just---"

"Yeah, It's a little bit weird at first but you don't have a choice to accept it and fit in the role that is given to you by the writer"

"So you are telling us that almost everything is complete and written there and we can't do anything but to follow the plot given there?" I asked and the stranger nod

"But I can move freely! And talk on my own will" Seulgi said 

"That is because we are now in the blank space, Every chapter has it own scene right? We don't have a choice when there is a scene we need to act the role given by us, we can't move and talk freely in the scene because it is written by the writer while in blank space is where we can move freely after each scene given to us"

"It made sense because I experienced it last time" I said

"Why are we the one who is aware of yourselves?! I mean why do I hav
