Loved by all creatures, pampered and well-fed, Mina roams her kingdom at her heart’s content. As the only daughter to the king, her father treasures her more than anything in the world. But the only wish she had that he could never grant was her freedom outside of it. Confided in the world of light, everyday she stares out into the darkness that separates her world from the rest. 

Feared by many, a creature of the unknown, Chaeyoung stays locked up in a room she could never break. Her kryptonite, her enemy– they bound her mercilessly. She, too, wants to set foot outside again, but the door to her freedom stays bolted. 

A fateful encounter brought the two lives into a series of changes, opening doors and hearts to a world beyond.

A/N: To be honest, I had a different story planned out for my next. But when “Feel Special” came out, I had the sudden inspiration for this story instead. To honor Mina’s strength and love for us, I want to write this story with the inspiration from their MiChaeng scene.
