{Synopsis}:

Nam Woohyun was confident about never falling in love. Not after he knew that his destiny was to kill. And only, to kill. He wants vengeance against an underground gang he was once part of, namely Infinite. But when he meets you, and keeps you close when he realises you're actually a cop because he wants to bring closure on the case (and to his surprise, you promise to help him), he finds himself slowly falling for you. A potential suspect who learns to love you, and a boyfriend who is drifting far because he becomes too indulged in the investigation. What sort of ending will there be?

{Characters}:

Kim Sunggyu;

Your boyfriend, and an undercover cop who works alongside you and your best friend in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Force. You guys have been high school sweethearts and together for as long as anyone could remember; and so the two of you share an apartment granted under the consent of your very busy parents who are almost always in the States. He is given a case to investigate with you as a sunbae when you transfer into his department at the organisation, which requires him to hide his identity and forge close bonds with the gang of perpetrators-because you screwed up on the first assignment. As loving towards you as he is, he is always more dedicated to his task than he is to you at his workplace; he has great expectations and doesn't like to allow his love affair with you to meddle with his work.

Nam Woohyun;

One of the suspects of the investigation. He is noted within the police force as a gang/mafia member on the run, reported to have committed unseeable deeds and murders with the 4 other members of Infinite. Sunggyu and you meet him at a grandiose hotel on the evening of his return, where the plan is for your team to catch him, in hope of winning over some information. Instead, he catches you off guard and exposes your identity as a cop-when you guys are alone. But because he has such decency towards beautiful women like you, he doesn't kill you and lets you off the hook. On one condition, though: you have to secretly work as his spy. He 'uses you' himself, and the other members of Infinite don't know. At first you think he's keeping you by his side because he doesn't want you leaking information to the police force, but in all of reality, he actually hates Infinite as much as you cops do. He wants revenge because s are the ones who killed his brother, which you slowly learn of. He falls slowly for you.

Kang Ji Ni (You);

You are Sunggyu's girlfriend and partner in the police force, and together with Woohyun the three of you get entangled in a pretty hot mess. After getting transfered over to your new office in Sunggyu's building, you are forced to be Woohyun's spy for Infinite behind Sunggyu's back, who you never tell because you come to learn that Woohyun is actually an absent member of Infinite and wants only revenge. You exited the hotel that night telling Sunggyu 'you lost your target', and you leave him with no choice but to cover up for you and play undercover cop at the Infinite warehouse. Woohyun plays along with you in the undercover cop business, and for some reason, you can't bring yourself to spill the truth about being in contact with an ex-member of Infinite to Sunggyu...

Jang Dongwoo;

The happy-go-lucky and sweetest best friend anyone in the world can have. You met him way before you met Kim Sunggyu, and always knew you could rely on him when you needed a break from your boyfriend and your work. He is also part of the crew at the police institute, but he works at the profiling department (so you guys don't bump into each other frequently at work) while you and Sunggyu are investigators. Nonetheless, Dongwoo is an accomplice of your team working on the Infinite scandal. Minor character, as with the rest of the members of Infinite.
