The angel appears

An Angel Clad in a very Fluffy Coat

Nako trudges tiringly through the snowy night along with her suitcase and backpack filled with everything she owned, trying to
find shelter against the unforgiving snow. She stumbles upon an empty bus stop which she decides would be her home for tonight. Taking solace
in the single light open in the bus stop, hoping it will provide her any semblance of warmth and protection against the snow. Nako rubs her
gloveless hands repeatedly while blowing into them occasionally, trying anything and everything to warm herself up. Her clothes offered some
warmth however they were still far too thin for this kind of weather. Nako would have done anything to have a coat and gloves right now but
considering how little money she had left. She couldn't afford the luxury of spending money on extra protection.

Nako sighs into the night leaning her small shivering body against the bus stop as she recalls what had happened in her life that
led to her being homeless, almost completely broke, cold and starving under the snowy night.

Nako never was lucky in life, at a young age she was never loved by her family. She was never given proper clothes and never properly
taken care of by her family. She was never shown affection and was often treated as a maid. She had to work around the house to be able to
eat and continue living in her very own house. She was often verbally abused by her parents saying she was a waste of money, time, and
space. She only had herself to rely on. Even with all the misfortunes in her life, she never let that affect her personality. She was determined
to show kindness, understanding, and love towards other people. To make sure no one else has to experience the suffering she has to go to.
She was loved by her friends and the people she had the pleasure to talk with. The kindness and acceptance of the people she befriended
gave her the strength and motivation to push on.

However, even with the help of her friends. It wasn't enough to prepare for what happened next. When she reached the age of 18, she came
home to her belongings thrown outside on the street. Confused, Nako started picking her stuff off the ground, placing them inside the bag
and suitcase thrown out as well.

As Nako was fixing her stuff, the door opened revealing her mother with an amused grin along with her father with an equally amused grin.

"M-mom, d-dad. What's happening? Why is my stuff scattered here? Did I do something wrong? P-please I c-can fix it. Give me a ch-chance"
Nako pleaded but was immediately cut off by her mother.

"Shut the hell up you worthless excuse of a daughter" Nako flinched as her mom started to use the awful tone she uses whenever she scolds
her for messing up.

"Now dear, remember what we were supposed to say?" Her father interjects with an oddly calm and collected voice.

"Oh right I'm sorry honey~ I forgot. Happy Birthday Nako! As a present we decided to kick you out and let you live on your own. Completely
free from you! Isn't that amazing?" Her mom says enthusiastically as her dad nods enthusiastically.

"W-what. W-why? I p-promised to do work around the house and do whatever you want. What did I do wr-wrong. Please don't kick me
out, I won't s-survied. Please mom, dad." Nako pleads, tears already forming.

"SHUT THE HELL UP YOU WORTHLESS BRAT. Be glad we didn't throw you out without your stuff and cash. Leave our sight now while we're still
nice" Her mom shouts again causing Nako to flinch and panic as she hurries to pick up her stuff and leave.

Nako's eyesight is blinded by tears as she finishes packing her stuff. Preparing to leave, she looks back at the house she grew up in
remembering all the horrible experiences she had in it. She cries harder at the memory, added to that the thought of having to live
alone without a home and the money to fully support herself. It broke her. She ran as fast as she could not being able to handle the pain.

She tried contacting her friends through a payphone but none of them were able to accomodate her in their dorms or houses because all of
them were already full and couldn't afford another body to be in it. Another blow to the chest Nako thought but she couldn't be mad at
her friends for that. She knew if they could they would let her stay over for however long she wanted. She was still grateful that they
all pitched and gave her money to hopefully help her finda home stay in temporarily. Even with the money she had plus the money they gave
her. It wouldn't be enough but it was enough for her to buy food to eat and water to drink for a good while. Her friends promised to stay
in contact and help her in anyway they can. They were all heart broken and furious that their angel of a friend had to suffer through all
of this. They wanted to storm to her parent's house but she stopped them knowing it will only lead to more problems.

Nako didn't notice but tears started falling from her eyes as she recalls all the hardship she had experienced in her life. It was difficult.
She was homeless for over a week now and her cash reserves were running dangerously low that led to her only being able to afford a single
meal a day. She managed to find shelter in abandoned buildings and sometimes sleeping on benches near the park. She was losing hope,
she couldn't keep her positive attitude anymore. She was lost, she had no where to go. She couldn't rely on her friends forever and
she couldn't get a job without having a place to stay. She felt like dying of starvation was her only option left. She wanted to scream into
the night hoping someone would save her from her misery or put her out of her misery.

Nako continued crying her hearts out, placing her cold hands on her eyes as a fruitless effort to stop the tears from falling.
Oblivious to the presence of another body on the bench.

After a while, Nako finally calmed down and felt a light tap on her shoulder. To her surprise she saw someone clad in a very fluffy and
thick coat  that covered the person's face to which Nako ignored instead was envious to the warm and obviously comfortable coat the
stranger has.

The stranger moved again, grabbing something within their coat and giving it to Nako.

"H-heat packs and a handkerchief?" Nako says while still shivering from the cold and her previous breakdown.

"I know you don't have any reason to trust me or accept this from me because I'm a stranger but I really do hope you take it. You're dangerously
cold right now"

Nako was shocked by the voice. She was expecting a voice of erted man trying to take advantage of a girl alone during the night but
instead she heard was a very warm and soft voice that Nako didn't understand but gave her the feeling of comfort and home. Even though
she never felt the feeling of being home ever.

Nako thanking the stranger took the heat pack and handkerchief. She immediately opened the heat pack and was greeted with the wonderful
warmth that helped cool down her hands and body a bit. She was also thankful for the handkerchief because she was able to finally dry
her eyes and prevent the tears from cooling and making her body even colder than it already was.

The stranger said nothing as she waited for Nako to warm herself and fix herself up first.

"Excuse me miss? I'm not really sure why you would help but me I'm really thankful you did and I'm sorry if you had to see me breakdown"
Nako said sincerly thankful for the temporary warmth and help the stranger gave

"It's no problem at all miss?"

"It's Yabuki Nako"

"Miss Nako, I couldn't just pass by and not help you... I'm sorry if I'm overstepping my boundaries already but may I ask what are you
doing out this late in this snow especially in those clothes? Of course you don't need to say anthing if you don't want to"
The stranger said with a cautious and soft voice.

Nako didn't understand what force compelled her to share her story but something about the stranger's voice gave her reassurance that she
could trust this person. Nako told the stranger her backstory and how she ended up here, trying her damnest not to breakdown once more.

The stranger noticed Nako's clench fist obviously trying her best to stop the tears from flowing. She held out her gloved hand and held
both Nako's hand, rubbing circles to hopefully calm the girl down.

"I'm sorry you had to experience that. You don't deserve to suffer through this bull alone" the stranger says. Obviously trying to hide
her frustration about the situation Nako was in.

"I'm sorry for oversharing. You don't need to bear my burden. I'm grateful enough for you listening to me" Nako says showing the
stranger her sincerest smile.

The stranger to Nako's dismay pulled away and stood up. Nako thought that the stranger finally had to leave. The weight on her heart
coming back slowly but quickly disappeared when she saw the stranger removing her coat.

Nako was to say the least dumbfounded since she wasn't expecting an angel to appear behind that thick coat.

The stranger took of her coat, revealing her face and body covered in very thick jackets and pants. What struck Nako the most was the strangers
face. It was fair, smooth, and absolutely beautiful. Words could not describe how perfect the stranger's face was. Nako was debating whether
or not she died a little while ago and woke up to an angel finally taking her up to heaven. The thought quickly disappeared as the stranger/angel started talking again.

"This might be a bit big but wear my coat. You're still freezing" the stranger offering her coat to Nako.

"W-wait I can't take this. You'll be freezing. I don't need it. I'm f-fine" Nako says but the shiver on her body says otherwise.

"I have thicker clothes than you plus you suffered through this intense cold for how long. You'll need or else you might get hypothermia.
Please miss Nako. Accept it for me? I don't want you to suffer anymore" the stranger pleads, sincerity and worry dripping down her voice.

Nako cried, she forgot when was the last time she felt the amount of kindness and care she's receiving right now. She grabs the coat shakingly,
placing it on her small and shivering body. Warmth enveloping every fiber of her being and the smell of lavender enveloping her senses.
She deduced that it came from the stranger's perfume lingering on the coat but she was surprise to realize the stranger has enveloped her
in a hug with her head on her shoulder. The stranger rubs Nako's back as Nako continued to cry and release all her frustration, sadness,
and anger.

Nako should have felt tired after crying so much and being homeless for a week but after crying she felt lighter. It felt like some of the
suffering she went through were removed thanks to kindess of this angelic stranger.

The stranger broke the hug but placed both of her hands on Nako's shoulder. Staring directly into Nako's eyes.

"I might be a broken record right now but I know you can't trust me. I know you have no reason to accept but..." the strange takes a deep
breathe.

"Would you want to live with me and work for me?"

"W-what?"

"I own a cafe house not so far from here and I want you to work for me there. The shop has an attic where I can transform it to become your
temporary home. Do you accept?"

"I-I can't possibly accept that. You've helped me so much already. I don't want to burden you anymore. I'm thankful for everything you've
done right now but you don't need to go this far for me. I'm no one"

"You're a human being. A person, living breathing human being who suffered enough in her life. I'm not about to give up on you. Please
accept it. Don't think of this as charity. Think of it as repaying my kindness if you really want to. I do need new staff members so it
will benefit me as well and I promies you I have no ill intentions. I can show you my id and business permit if you want to. Just please
trust me and let me help you" the stranger pleads with Nako hoping her the sincerty in her voice could persuade Nako.

Nako was overwhelmed, she could not understand why someone would go this far for her. She was a homeless no one who had nothing to her
name besides the clothes on her back and her belongings in her bag. She should refuse, she couldn't burden someone with her life but
staring into the stranger's eyes. Something felt so inviting and true that she couldn't resist.

"I-I accept... One one condition. I pay you back for everything you've done for me" Nako says

The stranger smiles, relieved that Nako finally accepted. "You really don't have to but if that's what you want then I accept"

"We should get going soon, the snow might starting fall even harder. It's about 20 minutes away from here" the stranger smiles as she
stands up picking up Nako's luggage to which Nako tried to refuse help with but quickly accepted knowing this stranger gets what she wants.

"W-wait! Before anything else, can I ask your name? You gave me warmth and offered me a job and home but I don't know your name. I don't
even know if you're real or if I'm hallucinating from the cold" Nako says hysterically.

The stranger laughs lightly which sounded angelic to Nako's ears.

"I'm Kwon Eunbi and from now on you'll be under my care"

Eunbi smiles racing her hand to shake hands with Nako's ungloved hand.

"I'm Yabuki Nako once again and thank you for everything. I promise to be not a burden" Nako says with determination in her voice

"Awwwww you're so cute!!!!! Don't worry you aren't a burden to me" Eunbi smiles lovingly which Nako couldn't help but smile shly seeing
Eunbi's bright smile.
