It's as cliche as it can get.

The words don't ring in Yuri's head anymore, it doesn't swoop into her thoughts and wedge itself into every single idea she comes up with whenever Yena does something coincidentally similar to those in the movies.

It's all replaced with a broken record of "whats," as she tries to process what Yena had said, word by word.

Because instead of finally receiving the three-word confession she's been wanting to hear from Yena for so long now, Yena pitches her ball of feelings in a different direction, flying higher than what Yuri had expected.

And expectedly, it doesn't end up as a strike.

It's a no-doubter, when it hits homerun and lodges itself deep— 

—Deep into Yuri's wavering heart.
