I've always wanted to write an arranged marriage AU but the mechanics of a same-gender one are kinda hard to navigate (since most arranged marriages are for political reasons which require consummation and babies bla bla) so I thought, why not try this with my favourite ((only)) het ship? Especially since Kyungsoo has literally played a character forced into one? And this was born.

Quick background for those of you who haven't watched Hundred Days Husband (but let's be real, if you're here you probably have): in the very first part of the story, the crown prince is forced into an unhappy marriage with the daughter of the man who basically ruined his childhood and has been a thorn in his side ever since, which is the one of the main reasons why he hates the crown princess so much. Also, I decided to omit Nam Jihyun's character from this bc I wanted to keep this short and adding someone else he's pining after would make this a hell lot longer and more complicated. And I'm not a big fan of love triangles.
