The body lies in the middle of the broken mirror, half of the face painted black, the victim's body is covered in tattoos. However, a gleaming new ink is visible on the back. The design of the tattoo has the words ❗"Your Wings are Wings of the Devil"- RM.❗ Ink and  blood is splattered on the floor. 

Three police officers, Inspector  Kim Y/n and her partners Sergeant Kim Taehyung and Officer Jeon Jungkook, enter  Double Ink Shop, also known as the crime scene.

Inspector Y/n approaches the body on the floor. Seargent Kim Taehyung and Officer Jeon Jungkook split, investigating either side of the room, knowing the ritual. 

Y/n squats down next to the bloody corpse, careful not to tough it. She reads the inscription now permanently etched into the corpse's back and scowls. 

"Dammit. That RM is at it again." 

Y/n feels rage boil in her stomach and holds it all in, knowing to save it for when they catch RM. She studies the face of the victim. The black makes it harder to recognize who it is but it looks like one of the pictures on a kidnap report. She snaps a picture for comparison later and dreads making another call to some poor family whose loved one was ripped from this world. 

Y/n stands up and switched places with Taehyung. She examines the left side of the room, discreetly messed up. She waits then goes to the right end of the room to examine there too. She doesn't see much askew and turns away when a small slip of paper catches her attention. She walks over, her shoes clicking on the floor with each step. 

Y/n picks up the small slip of paper, moving toward the lighter area of the room to read it.

Written on the paper in sharp, uneven writing are the words, "CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, Y/N!" 

Y/n scowls and slips the paper into her information folder, walking out of the room and waiting for Jeon and Kim to finish their investigation. 

The two walk out in quiet conversation. Y/n leans against the wall with her arms crossed, thinking about the note. The two men walk up to her, ready to discuss their thoughts. 

"It was obviously RM. I didnt see anything that would lead us to him, though. He's crazy, but definitely smart." 

Y/n and Kim nod in agreement to Jeon's words. 

"I actually found this note, take a look," Y/n passes the note over to the two men and they read it. They both let out a little sarcastic chuckle. 

"I guess that makes this our case, now doesn't it?"

"Yes, it does. Let's get back to hq and look up any files on RM."

The two men nod and follow her out to the car, driving over to hq. They go inside and straight to the filing section of the building to look for more information on RM. 

Y/n found this form and a few stories of his crimes but no pictures. 

Name: RM.

Birthday: September 12, 1994.

Looks: (no picture)

Criminal record: multiple murders/kidnaps have been pinned to him. 

Other info: he has killed many officers. He's never been caught and nobody has come near to him until he killed them. Anyone on his case, never go alone. 

Then it abruptly stops. Usually there's more of a background and less of a warning in the papers. This makes Y/n wonder, is he so good at avoiding the law that they have NO concrete evidence on him? 

The three police officers head back to their office and compare any notes they have. They stay well into the night, leaving once they have a general plan of attack. 

Y/n gets in her car and drives home. She walks into her apartment and sees a slip of paper on her kitchen counter. She walks over and picks it up, opening it and reading it.

She scowls, muttering, "You wanna play this game? Fine, I'll play. Watch out, RM. I'll find you, just wait." 

She places the paper gently in her desk drawer and goes upstairs to bed.
